Ansley Golf Club

I have had the pleasure of photographing several weddings at the Ansley Golf Club. The staff is absolutely top notch and extremely accommodating! The venue and grounds are simply stunning. I highly recommend it as a wedding venue!

So I don’t even know where to begin I’ve been working thru an app off and on for the last 3 years . I get there today and they claim my beard which has a red streak and has had it for 3 years now was inappropriate. Hmmmm sounds like a racial profile to me I’m going to look into this further because once again I’ve been to the establishment before to work and I also work with more upscale clubs such as the Standard and the Polo Club and they love me….. I find it offensive and mind boggling that my beard supposedly is inappropriate…..

This is absolutely the classiest place in "old money Atlanta" that has operated without interruption. Dinner was fabulous! The Georgia State University Women's Philanthropy Network end-of-year (fiscal) held its celebration at Ansley Golf Club last evening.

Beautiful course and fantastic amenities. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. A perfect spot for a relaxing day of golf.

Great place for a game of tennis. We played on clay courts that were very well maintained. The facilities were top notch they even had an air gun to clean your shoes after you play. Great viewing area so you could see the courts extremely well. Will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful lunch, played pickleball and caught up with my friends from high school here. My one friend is a member. Taylor Kelley was our server. She was knowledgeable, friendly and spent time with us. I was able to eat gluten free! They even had a separate fryer so no cross contamination problems. Excellent service and food. We will be back the next time we are invited.

I attended a conference at this location on the 28th and 29th. The NOBLE Chapter had excellent discussions and panels. The staff were very professional and the food served was very good. I don't play golf but would return just to eat.

Greenway Review: I can only give you a review of the greenway and how it looks visually because I don't think that I can actually afford a membership here. This club is located in the middle of the neighborhood without any type of large sign advertising who they are, which is actually nice. The greenway looks really nice. Every time I sit in traffic by it(thanks Waze!) or just drive by, the greenway has always looked like it is taken care of which it should be.

I have been coming here for over five years for meetings with the ACFE. Always once a month for lunch and learn sessions. The venue is beautiful. We are always seated in the ballroom and the staff consistently prepares a beautiful and delicious buffet. Food is always a variety and fresh. Service is consistently good and discrete which is important since we are often balancing eating and learning. I don't like valets parking my car so the availability of self parking is greatly appreciated. My car is a 6 speed manual transmission and I have had multiple valets almost wreck my car because they cannot drive a manual transmission. Bathrooms and common areas are clean and decorated beautifully. Free wifi is a plus so that I can work before and after the meetings. This is a great venue!!!

We've been members of Ansley for many years. I've hosted several big parties here and every single time they were all 5 star events! From the incredible food, beautiful grounds, impeccable service to the overall ambiance of this place. Even during the aftermath of the pandemic while understaffed they were completely flawless!!! In my opinion, this venue and staff can't be beat! Without a doubt Ansley is absolutely one of the most beautiful golf clubs in the Southeast! Blessed to be a part of such an amazing place!

Nestled within the city of Atlanta, the golf course and club is an oasis of green amidst the skyscrapers and highways. A true city course which has 9 holes that have different tees and greens to alter play enough to create 18 holes - an engineering marvel considering the limited real estate. The staff are welcoming, gracious and more than happy to provide tips to duffers like myself who need all the help we can get. The grill has a very nice menu to complement one of their local tap brews and a cigar on the porch.

Full disclosure- I worked at Ansley for 8 wonderful years and sadly left for career advancement reasons. This is the best club in Atlanta. Family friendly environment with something for everyone. Great fitness program, best director of tennis and golf in Atlanta, youth program that cares about each individual child, and the most active swimming pool in Atlanta. Not to mention fiscally this club is managed and operated at the highest level. You will get friendships that enrich your life and be more connected to our wonderful town if you join Ansley.

This is a review of the club as a venue for a wedding or other big event. I have hosted two wedding receptions here and they were both beautiful, well organized and reasonable. The catering staff is excellent. The food is very good. The event planners are also excellent. All the available rooms, including the ballroom, are beautifully decorated and maintained. Cannot go wrong here.
