The World's Top 100 Wonders in 2018

"Frequently subject to flash floods, Antelope Canyon can only be visited through guided tours because of the extreme danger. Still, it has managed to become the most photographed and most-visited slot canyon in all of the American Southwest due to its beauty and a peculiar phenomenon of natural light beams. Formed by millions of years of wind and water erosion, Antelope Canyon’s magnificent smooth and flowing shaped sandstone has made it one of the most famous slot canyons in the world. Located within the LeChee Chapter of the Navajo Nation in Arizona, Antelope Canyon is actually two separate canyons, the upper canyon and lower canyon. The upper canyon, which the Navajo call Tsé bighánílíní (“the place where water runs through rocks”), is a narrow passage through 120-foot-high canyon walls. The lower canyon is known as Hazdistazí (“spiral rock arches”) and is a shallower V-shaped canyon that is a more difficult trek for visitors." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

Had a great experience with Antelope Canyon Tours from start to finish. I had some questions before booking and they promptly responded my email. I booked the White Pocket Tour at Vermillion Cliffs and the Upper Antelope Canyon tour with them. Everything ran smoothly with no issues at all. Both guides were friendly, organized, and made the whole visit easy and enjoyable. They were ready to go before scheduled time. White pocket was an amazing experience. Waylin was a great guide. He has a great personality and is not just very knowledgeable and attentive, but made sure to point out things that I would have completely missed. I had a great time! The upper Antelope Canyon guide Cindi was very friendly and made sure to provide as much information as possible. They both are very good and helpful by giving tips on how to take good pictures. The whole visit felt effortless and enjoyable. Highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a beautiful and hassle-free experience.

I did the Upper Antelope Canyon and it was a breathtaking experience. The booking process was easy and gave me all the instructions I needed. The journey was smooth and our guide Mogan was amazing. He talked about the Canyon's history; how it was formed, the issues people have caused in the past and knew every single spot to take a nice picture. He gave detailed instructions on how to take good pictures ourselves, and even took us to a smaller canyon on the side. An amazing time, and would recommend Morgan as your tour guide everytime.

We had an amazing tour led by the fabulous Rosie. She was a fountain of information telling us about the history and giving us a lot of scientific facts. She also stopped to point out excellent photo opportunities and even took some pictures of us as well. She had a great, positive attitude, even though it was really cold and windy the day we went. I love that she was so open and answered all my questions about the area, the Navajo culture and the reservation. I can’t wait to go again at a different time of year!

The canyon is so beautiful that everything about this place looks great. My kids and my wife picked it as their favorite spot. There are restrooms, and there is a manual hand-washing station outside. There’s also a small place inside where you can get some simple food.

We had a great time on the Upper Antelope Canyon tour...our tour guide Morgan was AWESOME and very knowledgeable and friendly. He took some great pictures of everyone and kept a good pace but allowed everyone to enjoy the spots. Make sure you check k in on time, which was easy and they are on point with the time it take to get there, do the tour and get back. We really enjoyed out time on this tour and I highly recommend this company for the upper Antelope Canyon tour.

This place is definitely worth the hype! And I say that as someone who drove for over 3 hours from Cottonwood to Page. The tour was led by Sunny, a real Navajo man. He took our group to the area (which is on actual Navajo territory) via a van, and it was a slightly bumpy but fun, scenic ride. Throughout the tour, Sunny gave us lots of information about the history of the Navajo people and the canyon. He also helped all of us snag some superb photos and showed us some cool features inside. I don't want to reveal too much, but I'm sure you will enjoy the tour. The price might seem a bit steep, but I think it's worth it. You are technically on their land, and they're being gracious enough to allow us into areas that only they have access to. Alongside the actual drive and the information provided on tour, your support goes directly to the people who maintain the canyon. It could be a once in a lifetime experience for you. I say go for it!

Mario is a fantastic tour guide. The ride to the site is 4 miles of paved road followed by 3 miles of sand dune road? Be ready for a roller coaster ride. The land is beautiful and Mario's knowledge of the area is exceptional. He helped the whole group take photos as well as to some photos of light generated images that were amazing. I highly recommend this tour company if your visiting Sedona.

This was a beautiful way to see Antelope Canyon. Kayaking was easy when there where no boats on the water but more difficult when boats were around. Unfortunately where were pulled up to the place to do the hike it was mucky and smelly. Our guide told us that there was a flash flood the week before and that's why it was like that. We all still were able to do the short hike and it was really amazing to be walking through the canyon.
