"Frequently subject to flash floods, Antelope Canyon can only be visited through guided tours because of the extreme danger. Still, it has managed to become the most photographed and most-visited slot canyon in all of the American Southwest due to its beauty and a peculiar phenomenon of natural light beams. Formed by millions of years of wind and water erosion, Antelope Canyon’s magnificent smooth and flowing shaped sandstone has made it one of the most famous slot canyons in the world. Located within the LeChee Chapter of the Navajo Nation in Arizona, Antelope Canyon is actually two separate canyons, the upper canyon and lower canyon. The upper canyon, which the Navajo call Tsé bighánílíní (“the place where water runs through rocks”), is a narrow passage through 120-foot-high canyon walls. The lower canyon is known as Hazdistazí (“spiral rock arches”) and is a shallower V-shaped canyon that is a more difficult trek for visitors." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

Our tour guide was Waylon and he was soooo knowledgeable and friendly. We had a very fun 20 minute ride to the canyon from the office, then he proceeded to guide us around the area and talked about the history of the area. Such a cool experience!! We also got to have a ton of photo ops!

I had a great experience on the Upper Antelope Canyon tour, despite some initial hesitation due to mixed online reviews. The check-in process at the front desk wasn’t particularly warm or welcoming, but it was efficient and got the job done. Once the tour began, any concerns quickly faded. While there were clearly many tours happening simultaneously, the operation was impressively organized. The guides and operators have the flow down to a science—each group moved smoothly without running into the one in front or behind. Our guide, Cheyenne, was phenomenal. She not only shared interesting facts and history about the canyon but also took amazing photos of each group in our tour. She managed to capture beautiful, professional-quality shots without other people in the background, making it feel like we had the canyon to ourselves—no small feat considering how popular the site is. All in all, I’d highly recommend this tour. The natural beauty of Upper Antelope Canyon is breathtaking, and the experience exceeded my expectations.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable experience — made even better by our guide, Ricky! We did the Upper Antelope Canyon tour with Antelope Canyon Tours by Roger & Carolene Ekis, and it was absolutely incredible. The canyon itself is breathtaking — a true natural wonder — but what made the experience truly next-level was our guide, Ricky. He went above and beyond in every way: super knowledgeable, funny, patient, and made sure everyone got amazing photos (even teaching us how to capture the light perfectly). His energy and passion brought the place to life, and we left feeling like we got way more than “just a tour.” If you’re thinking of visiting Antelope Canyon — book with this company, and ask for Ricky if you can. 10/10 recommend! 🙌

March 12, 2025: we were there with the family today and were allowed to take a guided tour of the canyon. Pick-up is in the town of Page and you then take a minibus across a dry riverbed to the canyon. From there, we went into the canyon together in small groups or with the family. We had a guide who led us through the gorge. We stopped again and again at prominent points and had the opportunity to take beautiful pictures.📸 It was really breathtakingly beautiful and this tour is definitely recommended. It is very rare to get such impressions and pictures. The important thing here is that it must be in good weather. ☀️ I can only recommend everyone to book this tour once and be intoxicated by the impressions. An absolute must. 🥰

We visited Antelope Canyon for the first time as a family to celebrate my birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! It has been on my bucket list for the past several years, so finally crossing it off was a dream come true. Our tour guide, Rosie, was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the canyon’s history and went above and beyond to ensure we got the best photos. She was also so kind and patient, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The canyon itself was breathtaking—pictures don’t do it justice! Before the tour, there were two unisex bathrooms available, which was nice. The ride to the canyon was smooth at first, but a bit bumpy closer to the site. Thankfully, Rosie let me sit up front with her, so thankfully I didn’t get carsick. The walk through the canyon was easy and breathtaking, and while there was a bit of a trek back to the truck, it was nothing too strenuous or hard. The views walking back were great too. Overall, this was the highlight of our trip and one of my best memories so far. Definitely worth every penny! Highly recommend booking a tour with this company and with the tour guide, Rosie, if you get the chance!

Great tour. Our guide was Scott. He was very Friedland and knowledgeable. He gave us many tips on taking the best pictures. The vehicle was good. The reception staff at check in could be friendlier. They weren’t very helpful.

One of the most amazing places I have ever been!!! Kyle did an awesome job as a guide. I hope anyone that goes has the opportunity to have him lead. As for the canyon it's absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. Super cool photos. Not that bad of a hike out with the addition of the stair cases.
