We had an amazing family dinner at Antep Kitchen last weekend with our group of 8, including kids and grandparents. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodated our large party without any hassle— they even pushed tables together for us seamlessly. The atmosphere is lively and authentic, with that wonderful aroma of grilled meats filling the air, making everyone excited right away.
We started with a mix of appetizers like hummus, falafel, and a few lahmacuns, which the kids absolutely devoured (think Turkish pizza—crispy, flavorful, and perfect for sharing). For mains, we went for the mixed grill platter, which was massive and fed all of us generously: tender lamb shish, juicy chicken wings, spicy Adana kebabs, and those fall-off-the-bone ribs. Everything was seasoned to perfection, not too overpowering for the little ones, and came with fluffy rice, fresh salads, and warm bread. Portions are huge, so we had leftovers to take home!
Service was top-notch—our waiter was patient with the kids’ orders and brought out complimentary Turkish tea at the end. It’s great value for money in Oxford, especially for a big group. Highly recommend for families looking for delicious Turkish food in a fun setting. 5 stars! We’ll be back soon.
