"Taking a minute for a little sweet something is an essential part of life and Antepliler Künefe & Patisserie is one of London’s finest locations for a sugary get-together. The künefe house on Green Lanes is often humming with family and friends, sipping glasses of Turkish tea and attacking sugar syrup-drenched cheesy pastry. A scoop of ice cream or clotted cream isn’t necessary, but that shouldn’t stop you." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, jake missing
"If you’re in need of the quickest of quick (and satisfying) fixes on Green Lanes Grand Parade, then Antepliler is the place to go. Their lahmacuns are ready and waiting. Start an internal stopwatch when you walk in and you’ll more than likely be chewing on some hot and crispy dough in sub sixty seconds. Best of all is that their lahmacuns are also consistently good. Never skimping on topping and a little more tomato-y than others, we’d recommend getting some salad and chilli sauce with this one." - jake missing
"Turkish specialities like iskender kebab, grilled meat, and a range of wraps, are available to order here from Atepliler on Green Lanes." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
"Open until 11:30pm nightly, Antepliler Künefe on Harringay’s Green Lanes specialises in künefe. This cheesy pastry bathing in sugar syrup is deservedly the star of its own show. The crispy edges of wiry kataifi pastry (crunchy from the heat of the copper pan that the pud is cooked in) are the best bites. But be aware that even for the greatest of gluttons, this sweet treat feels like a two-person job. Those looking to bounce off the walls of this snug, low-tabled, small-stooled Turkish restaurant can also add a scoop of ice cream or clotted cream on top." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna
"Antepliler Künefe offers sugary pick-me-ups by the ladleful. The late-night Turkish dessert specialist on Green Lanes does one thing and one thing only: künefe. This cheesy pastry bathing in sugar syrup is deservedly the star of its own show. The crispy edges of wiry pastry—crunchy from the heat of the copper the pud is cooked in—are the best bites, but just be aware that this is a two-person job. Especially when a scoop of ice cream or clotted cream is added on top." - jake missing
