I moved into the property in 2017 when the building was new and very clean with the original management company. I have lived here long enough to witness all of the changes, the office phone lines not working, the pool closures, the main fire alarm going off all hours, the stairwells and the parking garage being used for dog bathrooms, bags of bad smelling trash on the floor in the hallways all day, doors not secured in the parking garage and open parking garage gates. There have been safety issues driving in and out of the parking garage on Ashley as construction vehicles and other parked cars block one entire lane where you enter and exit the Anthem parking garage. This means there is only one lane open for traffic traveling in opposite directions at the entrance and exit of the “gated” Anthem parking garage. Unsanitary. My neighbor has daily dog feces, urine and trash on his balcony from his two dogs. I have documented this activity since November 2022 with photos and have reported this to management for 13 months. This activity is still occurring in Dec. 2023 (STYL) as the balcony is used as a dog toilet. Anthem neighbor is currently trying to hide dog feces and urine behind a construction privacy screen hung on his balcony with a cushion placed below it. Fulton County Law. (1) Any housing or enclosure used by any domestic animal or livestock shall be well-drained, free from accumulations of animal excrement and objectionable odors and otherwise clean and sanitary. Animal excrement shall be disposed of in a manner approved by Fulton County or its designee. This is a no smoking property. I have three neighbors smoking during the morning, afternoon and night. Preventative fire alarms. My neighbor beside me had a loud beeping smoke detector going off for months. I reported this alarm concern to management since my neighbor and I share a common wall. I could hear his alarm clearly inside my apartment. The neighbor’s beeping alarm could also be heard coming out of his open bedroom window from my balcony. I asked management several times to come up to my apartment and balcony to hear my neighbor's alarm going off but they would not come to my apartment to check this issue for months. Management told me they could not enter my neighbor’s apartment to check his alarm. Management wrote me on March 4, 2023 "If there is a smoke detector chirping near you, this must be coming from an occupied home in which the resident would need to submit a ticket for us to fix.” It took months for management to schedule a preventive maintenance inspection to check the smoke detectors here. The two locks on my bedroom window broke in Sept. 2022 they have not been repaired as of Nov. 2023. There are not enough lockers for secure deliveries for a building this large. I do not receive Anthem emails-notifications for the past couple of years informing me that I have a delivery. This service use to work when I moved in back in 2017. Anthem needs more security cameras on the property and in the parking garage. The property has aged quickly. The Greystar Management Company has replaced the managers and leasing staff multiple times since they bought the property. Greystar has also cut back their leasing office hours and are now closed on Sundays. There is a lack of customer service and communication responding to emails. I have had leaks in my ceiling from the unit above me, WD issues and AC issues. The maintenance team over the years have been great and helpful with these repairs. Greystar needs more staff and a full time groundskeeper to deep clean (pressure wash) all hallway floors, stairwells and eliminate overflowing trash and odors that at times can be present for days. Waste management. Greystar has two overflowing dumpsters for the property. They cannot hold or support the volume of trash from this large building. Greystar needs more dumpsters for this size property so the lids of the dumpsters can be closed. The trash valet service is not always consistent but you will still be charged for the service. High water-sewer charges.
