"Anthony’s, an East Coast chain, offers the ambiance of a local pizzeria with six locations across Palm Beach County. The meatball and ricotta pizza stands out as a customer favorite." - J. Miller

We ordered from here as my sister had eaten at another location (out of state) before. The salad appeared fresh and those who can eat gluten enjoyed the garlic knots and cheese pizza. As my sister and I both have a real gluten allergy, we ordered the gluten free pizza, which, when we called, we were told is handled with care. The ingredients seemed fresh and the flavors were great on these pizzas. Unfortunately within a few hours I had a reaction that only happens when I have eaten gluten. I eat pizza out without impact or cross contamination issues — so the fact that this pizza must have actually had gluten in or on it is very disappointing. While I would say it is worth eating here — I would warn anyone with an allergy to stay away.

Kate was Great! The Carnivore with added ricotta was incredible fresh out of the coal fired oven. Kate recommended a little fresh basil chiffonade that really elevated the pizza.

Ba bene👩🏻‍🍳 located on PGA Blvd in the heart of THE PALM BEACH GARDENS FLORIDA for your first class Italian family dinning. I sat at their centrally located bar and watched the pizzas rolling out the door for delivery during my lively solo lunch!

Have ordered from multiple times, both carry out and uber eats. Orders have always been quick and on time but that’s about it. Pizza is pretty bad. Somehow they manage to burn the crust yet then it’s also soggy, floppy and can’t even be folded. Sauce tastes like a cheap canned product. This is not unique to this location, seems like all of these restaurants produce the same pizza. Do yourself a favor and go to a real pizza place. Could get a way better pizza for about half the price.

Google
This is my go to for pizza in Palm Beach Gardens. The pizza is consistently great. The coal fire style is very good. Their hot honey pie is a must try. Service is also top notch. Highly recommend.

This is the very first Anthony’s we tried, and used to drive up there for a pizza, until they opened their location in Wellington, which is much closer to our home. I came here again recently for dinner because I was in the area, and was glad to see that the quality of both the food and the service hasn’t changed. I shared a salad (Anthony’s always have fresh salads) and an order of chicken wings with my friend, and had red sangria with it: everything was really good. Their prices are still very decent, the staff is very friendly, and since they are located in a shopping center there is no problem with parking.

Don’t eat here over priced and rude manager. Will not honor lunch menu special. Below is the scam there running here . Stay away from this place

We’ve been here a few times now. The food is pretty good we’ve tried a few pizzas, some tastier than others, meatballs, garlic knots and the salad. If you’re planning to eat inside bring a jacket this place is cold!! Outside is nice but unfortunately the seats are right next to the main road. Service is great! Giving this a 4 star because our takeout tonight was “ok” the pizza needed some more sauce and cheese for my taste and the salad had some brown lettuce.

Yelp
Great food, great service and a great ambiance. I highly recommend the meatball & ricotta pizza and the wings! Fresh grilled wings with great onions.

Yelp
I resisted leaning into this spot because it's a chain restaurant that gets super busy during snowbird season. We had a few just ok early experiences but once we joined the rewards program and started coming in every few weeks, I really started to understand why this place is so beloved. The bartender is always attentive. I enjoy the Pinot Grigio or rose wines but my husband usually gets a draft beer. They have signature cocktails too! The original wings with rosemary and caramelized onions are a crowd favorite. I love a simply cheese or pepperoni pizza but there are signature pies too. And the sandwiches and salads are crowd faves! Do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't regret it.

Yelp
My honey loves coal fire and I go with him for company only, usually. I ordered the soup and sent it back, all beans and bacon bits one would not ingest. His one person pizza good. Why would she get him a beer and not even ask me?? She is super busy and now has to do another trip to the bar. So as hind sight we ordered the wings, if we had the time would have sent that back, super salty, much more than what we normally get there. Two girls on the floor and doing bar, what's wrong w this picture ?

Yelp
Completely disappointed!! Raw pizza dough with a salad we asked for dressing on the side ( which they gave us) unfortunately the salad was already drenched in dressing. This location has consistently been a disappointment for us. We will not be returning. Go to Stuart or Palm Beach, much better overall.

Veronica T.

Yelp
The service was slow, but the server was friendly. The bar was busy and made it noisy. The overpriced food was terrible and I would never go back again. The pizza was flimsy and soggy. Everything slid off the Paulie's Pie trying to pick up the slices. The pepperoni pizza was better tasting. The cheese pizza tasted like tomato paste. The original wings were extremely salty and greasy plus the onions were burnt, so I only ate one. I wouldn't recommend eating here.

Ed K.

Yelp
I have to share this with you. Originally, I ordered a calzone with meatballs. I did a pick up and got home to find... a plain cheese calzone. Very disappointing. So I called and got through the phone maze and spoke with the manager. He said that, the next time I order, to tell them he said to give me a free meatball calzone. And they did- and it was terrific! They also included plenty of extra tomato sauce. They may not have gotten it right the first time but they certainly made up for it (unlike FireFin Grille- but that is another story and I won't go there now- and neither should anyone else)!

Kurt L.

Yelp
Pizza was okay. Not my style. I was expecting the bubbly slightly thicker crust, like you see in the pictures. Their pizza is really thin, and to be quite honest, extremely over priced. There's other places in town that will give you the full meal old world Italian experience and flavor. The service was good while I was there. I think I'll just stick with the trusty local mom and pop pizza restaurants.

Lisa C.

Yelp
I ordered online for an immediate pick-up. The site stated this type of order would be ready within 20 minutes. I had a free 12" traditional cheese pie to redeem for joining the rewards club; therefore, I paid for the additional two toppings. My total was around $6. The order was ready as promised when I arrived at the restaurant and the utensils were perfectly packed according to my online order. They offer a feature for choosing the amount of people per item which is a great way to eliminate waste. Crushed red pepper and cheese were were well portioned and in plastic containers and included with the order. Our pizza was delicious and the perfect amount for two hungry people. Moreover, it paired well with red wine. I highly recommend this particular pie and establishment for takeout.

David Z.

Yelp
Any location does not disappoint. Wings are grilled, and pizza hits the spot. They have lunch portion options which is more than enough.

Dave S.

Yelp
Friends had recommended it so my wife and I dropped by for Saturday lunch before we head back North for the Summer. We got the Caprese Salad, Sausage & Peppers Sandwich, and Meatball & Rigatoni. We agreed - it was zero for three - or if you count her ice tea and my IPA, 4 out of 5 (the IPA was fine). Maybe not fair - we're from Gloucester MA where there are lots of real Italian restaurants, and perhaps our standards are too high. But we believe Anthony's would have failed any reasonable test. First, the Caprese Salad is supposed to be sliced mozzarella, tomato, and lots of basil. The cheese was half the thickness of the tomato - maybe 1/4 inch, and I couldn't believe the green leaves were basil - they had absolutely no flavor - even when I tried a bunch of whole leaves. Not sure how you eliminate flavor from basil except to pick it weeks ahead of time. The meatball had kind of a sawdust flavor and consistency, and the sandwich was burned, and the "sweet" sausage was spicy with, again, no flavor. The waitress was nice and, as I mentioned, the beer cold and good. But if you plan to eat, you may want to avoid all the items we tried. They are a pizza place, so in all fairness, the pizza could be fantastic ... but the other dishes are not.

Lynn D.

Yelp
Food is amazing from pizza to salad an the tuna sandwich. Friendy service . An the ambiance, feeling like a pizza pub! It's all good!

Pat S.

Yelp
We had dinner elhere for the first time & really like the place. Its bright & modern & the staff was great but the pizza was amazing! I had white pizza with prosciutto & arugula & my husband had traditional pizza with pepperoni, sausage & mushrooms. They were both so good! The pizza crust was crispy but chewy & had great flavor. The toppings were fresh, generous & delicious. The tomato sauce & cheese was great on the one pizza & the white pizza was creamy & delicious. We will definitely be back.

Ellen M.

Yelp
We went to Anthony's fairly often and really enjoy the pizza. Two weeks ago we went and our waitress disappeared. Food was delivered by another server who took my beer still full away and our server never to come by our table again. Dishes piled up. We needed silverware. We wanted our bill. Our table was deserted. I later noticed our "waitress" was now a bartender and our table was clearly not covered any more. Needless to say, this was a disappointing visit. I am not sure if we will return.

Brenda J.

Yelp
Brittany, was our waitress today and she was absolutely great. She was very attentive and made some good suggestions. We ordered the Roasted Wings, that were loaded with grilled sweet onions. The Eggplant Parmesan was pretty good. Fresh tomato sauce and nicely flavored Eggplant. ( So good it missed the photo shoot). Now the Paulies Pie and Carnivori Pizza. The chunks of Ricotta cheese gave the Paulies Pie a slight edge in my opinion. We will definitely be back. Everything was amazing! Worth every penny.

Tom K.

Yelp
Ridiculous service! I ordered two pizzas and an order of wings for delivery. After an hour plus, I called for an update. Then, 15 mins later one pizza (ice cold) and one order of cold wings was placed outside the door (without a knock or doorbell attempt). I then called for my extra pizza and to comment on the ice-cold food. I was on hold for 20 mins and the Manager promised a full refund. Guess what? No refund issued. Thanks for ruining our dinner!

Patti H.

Yelp
Very good pizza. Love the meatballs. We usually get the poly pie which is meatballs and ricotta cheese with your choice of either sweet peppers or hot peppers (we get the sweet peppers).

Nancy H.

Yelp
Wings are great. My favorite. Very busy place so not relaxing more fast paced but that's ok. Food is great. Wide variety of selections

Jmy M.

Yelp
Very good. The margherita pizza is a square which is a little different. Sauce is good, and the pies are nicely well done. Close second to Grimaldi's'.

Aileen A.

Yelp
Love the salad and the pizza is so good. I can make a meal with the eggplant appetizer and salad

Bob B.

Yelp
Before the ownership change at Anthony's I would have rated it as the best thin crust pizza in South Florida. Then the chain changed ownership and everything changed for the worst - the crispy crust tasted like burnt cardboard and the toppings too sparse. Then, a couple of months ago, I tried Anthony's again and, although not quite back to the great pizza of the past, the dough was better, the sauce and toppings more plentiful and the pizza really enjoyable. The wings are always tasty and the salads plentiful. Welcome back!

Nalla R.

Yelp
Been to about three different Anthony's throughout Florida and I got to say this one is really good. The services is great and the food always comes out on time. The wings here are really good, they give you bread and sweet onions on them. The drinks here are made very well, didn't have to send any drinks back like in other Anthony's. Honestly a great place to catch any game, they have all the recent games playing and if you don't see a game the waitress are more than happy to put it on for you. Both times I've been here can't complain and would definitely be coming back more and more. If you can't think of what to eat this is a good place to come and eat with family and friends.

Joseph O.

Yelp
Up until now Anthony's has been one of our favorite pizza places in Palm Beach County - particularly for their pepperoni pies. Their service is usually friendly and fairly good, and their pizza ranges from good to excellent. But after this last visit, I would not recommend anyone come here for a table service meal, at least not in the evening after 7:30PM or so. We showed up around 7:30PM on a Tuesday and asked the hostess for a table. We got told it would be a 30 minute wait, which we said was okay. Then she corrected herself "no wait, maybe more like 45 minutes, are you sure?" We said yes again and then she walked away. I should have recognized at that point that she really just wanted us to leave. We realized a bit later that she didn't take our name. Another woman maybe the manager walked up to us like 10 minutes later and asked if we were there for a pickup order, and we told her that no we would just like to get our name on the list to be seated. Again, she walked away without taking our name. Then we see the manager and the hostess talking over in the corner, and still nobody comes to get our name. Then I look around the restaurant and notice almost every seat - including the seats at the bar - is full, but nobody is leaving and nobody else is waiting in the front area to be seated. The pizza kitchen is going full speed and people are coming in and out getting their takeout orders. After another 10 minutes pass I see some people get up and their tables getting cleared, but still nobody new gets called for a table. Finally, another two parties walk in behind us and ask for tables. Worried that they were about to be seated ahead of us after the hostess never took our name, I eavesdrop and I overhear the original hostess telling them, nah, sorry they're not seating anyone else. The new parties point out the open tables, but are told that they likely wouldn't be served until shortly before the restaurant closes at 9PM, so there would be no point in seating them. Still nobody comes to us to get our names or to tell us we won't be seated, so after sitting there essentially ignored for around 20min, we decide to just leave and go to Grimaldi's instead. I don't know what was going on that was so wrong that the hostess wasn't seating anyone. The kitchen seemed to be cranking out pizzas. Service seemed short-staffed but they were running like crazy and doing their best. But what it sure seemed like to my untrained eye is that the management didn't want to seat anyone else, over an hour before closing, because the kitchen was backed up enough with carry out orders that they might not be able to close the restaurant on time. I get it. I've always tried pretty hard not to be the kind of person who shows up right before (or even 30 minutes before) closing time expecting to be served a full meal at a table service restaurant. But being ignored and seeing others turned away *an hour and a half* before closing?! That's a bit new for me and seems a bit much. Suffice it to say that if we eat at this Anthony's in the evening again it will most likely be carry out only.

Todd A.

Yelp
Horrible service. Would never order through their site. They use door dash and blame them if not right. And then it's our problem if they don't show up. And have to figure out to contact a third party. They suggested I look up door dash customer service which is impossible to find.

Pat B.

Yelp
Good news: We were happy to see they had just opened a dog friendly patio so our little guy was able to join us. Disappointing news: Service was not very good. Food ok. Also, we were not given the luncheon special menu. Only learned about as the other tables were served. There are 6 or so tables on the patio. When we arrived for lunch we were the ONLY people seated outside. It took a little while but we did get menus and ordered drinks and lunch. Then the wait began, the patio filled up, the other tables all ordered AND they all got their pizzas before us. We finally were able to get our servers attention and asked about our order. She said I it was given to another table and they ate it.......I think it would have been better if she gave us a heads up rather than passing by us every time she served the other tables. Soooo, then we waited some more. The other parties outside had received their checks and were heading out before we received our pizza. I thought for sure she or the manager would offer a free beverage, free pizza or some sort of discount for waiting so long. Nope! The server brought the check, spun on her heel to leave and never even offered an apology for the delay. Doubt we'll be back.

Houda Z.

Yelp
Im sorry but that was the worst pizza I ever tried, for 33$ pizza I should get a good one. The crust was burned, they put way too much tomato, less cheese and less mushrooms. It was so sour and inedible.

Andrew C.

Yelp
We chose to visit this restaurant on Wednesday late afternoon because it's the only day of the week they provide a "Happy Hour" venue. Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza is a comfortable relax atmosphere chain store serving charred-crust pies, wings, subs & Italian plates in a contemporary setting. There known for their pizza being cooked in a coal-fired oven at more than 800 degrees The chain I believe has grown to 0ver forty-five (45) stores. We found seats by the bar and enjoyed seven dollar Tito's vodka martini along with pass around wings, meatballs & pizza. Although they provided pass around pizza, we ordered a small pie along with a salad. Everything was very good and the service was excellent

Jamie U.

Yelp
Service was great but the food was ok. Salads were good but chicken wings not the best. Cool pictures on the wall.

David D.

Yelp
Just ate at Anthony's on PGA in Jupiter. The pizza and wings were incredible! Every now and then you have a server who is heads up a superstar...her name was Bailey! Not only did she give us great insight when trying to figure out what pizza to order, but she was very positive, answered all our questions! She also was quick getting our food out, refilling our drinks, my wife and I had a very pleasant experience thanks to Bailey! Next time you go...ask for her!

Jenny M.

Yelp
Anthony's pizza is a thin pizza and very very delicious. The red sauce they use is amazing and just the right amount of cheese. They offer a 12 inch and a 16 inch. We had the meatballs for an app and again the red sauce was so yummy along with the ricotta cheese. I will definitely be coming back !

Jane H.

Yelp
We use to love this place for their pizza, wings and salad. But this will definitely be our last visit. The bottom of our pizza was completely BLACK and some of our wings too. If you order take out make sure to check before you leave the restaurant.

Jonathan W.

Yelp
Nice staff and waitress. Went on Saturday during lunch time and there was no wait. 12 inch Paulie's Pie ($20.99). Has meatball, sausage, ricotta, hot or sweet peppers. It's enough to feed 2 people. The crust is nice and thin. And the crust is really cripsy giving it nice texture. The ingredients toppings have good flavor. It's a good pizza. Its nice for groups, families. I think its worth coming at least once to try. There's lots of drink specials. Happy Hour is 4pm-7pm on Mon-Fri.

Michelle C.

Yelp
Just had pizza and giant great salad. It's a real treat. Great. Friday night is crazy busy. Wonderful. The last comment was totally unfair. But my experience was perfect.

A C.

Yelp
Sloppiest, greasiest no good pizza I've ever had in my life and they charge a killing for it. Will never order from here again.

V H.

Yelp
We've been missing coal fire pizza since moving out of FL, and Anthony's is still my favorite when we return to visit.

Sana Q.

Yelp
We were craving pizza late one night and got tired of looking up reviews of a good place, so we got in our car and decided to go to the first pizza place we drove by, and ended up here...and I'm so glad we did. We had their meatballs as an appetizer, and they were delicious- not to mention all beef! The sauce was the best I've ever had! We then ordered a traditional pizza and added veggies. I've never tasted such fresh vegetables on a pizza in my life. The service was great and the food was to die for. I can't wait to try other things on their menu as it's now my go to spot for pizza!

Honest Reviews By J.

Yelp
very disappointed! Took 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. Crazy, because when you open the door, the kitchen is right there...workers on their phone and taking to one another. Picked up pizza, wings, and salad. Wings were tiny, and dry. I normally rave about their wings. Publix has bigger baked wings that what I was given. terrible! Pizza was just ok, ordered mushrooms and uncooked prosciutto. Prosciutto was cooked, not good... Salad was much smaller than what it would have been if we at in. WHY IS THIS?????? seems like they are cutting corners big time. Use to frequent the location in Wellington, never had this issue and the service was top notch. Won't be back any time soon!!!

Christine G.

Yelp
Wings are great, but pizza is too thin and floppy. Pizza sauce has little flavor. Restaurant feels cramped inside.

John O.

Yelp
Great service. Wings and pizza we're 10/10 manager also friendly and better than West palms Anthony's pizza

R S.

Yelp
Been a while thought we'd try again. This will be the last. Coal fired 900 degrees- no way this should make a soggy crust. Worse is the thickness varied from thick to too thick. Tasteless- soggy mess of a pie. Service was quick and efficient. Can't believe this place is packed. Frozen never sounded so good!!

Pam F.

Yelp
Too expensive for what I ordered. 1/2 the crust was burnt. All the cheese and toppings slid to 1 side of the pizza. Salad was good.

Ashleigh G.

Yelp
loved the atmosphere at the bar! the bartender luisa was amazing, jack of all trades! she had so many covers and managed to provide the best service. the house cosmo martini was amazing! and the white pizza was awesome. such a relaxed atmosphere, it was refreshing.

Glenn C.

Yelp
I was recently passing through South Florida and got off the 95 interstate and found myself at Anthony's coal fired Pizza I was immediately impressed by the staff for their excellent service and very well prepared And tasty food. The menu was quite focused On pizza and chicken wings both of which were delicious... The place was hopping and I must say there was one person that stood heads above everybody else as he was in every quadrant of the restaurant almost simultaneously. He clearly was in charge as he was orchestrating the staffs performance and they were by the way spot on .....especially ours. So the food was excellent and I imagine to a large degree because of the management..... because it was quite obvious who was in charge..... the GM Hats off to this place for excellent food and seamless and expedient service

Robert F.

Yelp
Pizza is very good and I'm from New York ! Service is very good. People were very nice. I will go back as I am a new resident of Palm Beach.

Beantown T.

Yelp
Absolute disaster. Out on patio with a 20 year old waitress that ignored us for 30 minutes while she blabbered on to another table how her boyfriend loves tequila sunrises and he really goes the extra mile when he makes them. Good grief gal, at least get us a few beverages. Then she finally arrives and my friend asks her how the mootz pizza is and she says 'what's a mootz?'. I mean, you work at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza? She's now on my Mount Rushmore of worst servers and we haven't even ordered yet. Pizza was unremarkable. More like an Elio's frozen pie, nothing coal fired about the crust. Doughy, under cooked cheese & bacon. Salad over dressed, swimming in red wine vinegar. I appreciate the garbanzos, but the whole can in one salad? Maybe a bad kitchen night where the chef walked out, but it's tough to mess up pizza at 900 degrees.

Kevin R.

Yelp
Love your food and your staff is excellent. Can you please stop allowing the therapy dog nonsense? I don't want to eat in a dog park. Thanks.

Ruy M.

Yelp
Great spot to catch a quick lunch or make it an event... The pizza has great flavor... really good sauce... Decent size... good prices... No single slices... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yelp
Mozzarella, tomato, and basil pizza FTW! We were heading back home after a vacation in the area and wanted some pizza, but nothing too heavy, before driving back. We decided to stop at Anthony's because it's usually a solid pick, and it sure was this time. We seated ourselves at a high-top table by the window. It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon, so it was nice to sit by the window. The restaurant was somewhat busy but not too busy, just right. After a quick glance at the menu, we decided on a small "fresh mozzarella, sliced tomato, basil" pizza. Our server was professional and friendly. Our pretty pizza arrived rather quickly. Upon taking our first few bites, we knew we had made the right decision for a quick but light-ish pizza. It was thin, crispy, fresh, light, and had that perfect coal-oven taste. I had three slices which was just enough to leave me very satisfied without that over-the-top full feeling. The only thing was that, although the server was nice, she forgot a few things here and there. She was the only server for the tables so I'd blame it on being understaffed. Other thing - the bathrooms were SUPER hot inside, felt like a sauna. Overall, great Anthony's pizza.

Yelp
This family owned favorite of locals offers good Italian food at a decent price. Apparently, many come to enjoy the v cool remodeled bar that features Karaoke. Some are gifted but many should stick to belting out their favorite songs to their evening or morning showers. Unfortunately, for us, the combination next door in the dining room was not a god match. We'd return but sure as heck call head to make sure it's not Karaoke night.
