If you’re looking for homestyle Italian food that will make your taste buds explode, Anthony’s Italian is your place! It is a small, but cozy restaurant that will make you feel like you are in the comfort of your own home. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but anything with their Alfredo sauce or clams is amazing!

The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Tried an Italian cream soda, absolutely breathtaking

We have an excellent dinner experience at Anthony’s Italian Cuisine. The restaurant is in an older shopping center. The front entrance is not very special. But once you open the door. The dining room makes me feel like I am in a small town in Italy. The food is delicious with an enthusiastic service. I feel like I'm eating at the home of an Italian family!

Anthony’s Italian Cuisine is a quaint eatery in South Natomas. This was our first time eating here. We found the waitress and server to be very cordial and friendly. It was a Wed. Evening, we enjoyed the Italian decor. The food was delicious. We shared the calamari as a starter. The minestrone soup was delicious. We shared the Basil pesto sauce over angel hair pasta. It was very delicious. Just like what we had eaten a few weeks ago in Italy. There was enough left over to take some home for lunch. So I would make reservations if you want to go on a weekend. We opted for their Italian sodas (instead of wine because we were driving), they were huge and super tasty!

Google
Yes, it is located in a strip mall. Yes, the interior looks dated. Yes, it is not fancy at all. But if all you care about is getting the best flavor, you have come to the right place. P.S. There are not a lot of customers inside the restaurant, but there are a lot of takeout orders.

I had the Spaghetti Carbonara. It was amazing. The service was great even though we took it to go. It was a 20 minute drive home, and the food was hot and fresh. 4 months later. Back for more carbonara, and an order of cannellini Rossini. Partner says it’s delicious, even better than lasagna.

I can't wait to come back here. Cute, intimate dining room. Very reasonable prices. Great food. I had Anthony's Triple Threat. I wasn't in the mood for alfredo and they were happy to sub in spaghetti with meat sauce instead. The spaghetti and lasagna were great. A nice tangy sauce. The chicken parmesan was perfectly tender. A couple of interior details would have made it perfect: it was hot enough that I was sweating. And their music system was temporarily broken. Some nice Italian music would have been really nice. Overall I can't wait to come back for a delicious, friendly, and affordable Italian meal.

Google
I haven't had the pleasure of dinning in yet, but have always doordashed. Every time I call to ask for something about my order Anthony and/or the staff have been incredible! On top of the fact that the food is phenomenal, the service that is provided is absolutely stellar. Most of the time when I doordash the quality isn't always great Not here. Can't say enough about how great it is! Highly, highly recommend.

Yelp
This little small business absolutely delivers. The resturant is in a strip mall and is almost hidden away. The inside is clean and well kept. Everything we ate was delicious. The garlic bread was warm. The strawberry Italian cream soda was just sweet enough. My partner had the tortellini with cream sauce, ham, and mushrooms. The mushrooms were the surprising stars. The smokiness of the ham and the rich earthy mushrooms were delicious. The cioppino was well seasoned, hot, and each seafood element was well cooked. The prices are very reasonable and the service is excellent. We will definently be returning and bringing friends and family.

Yelp
The first few times I had Anthony's, it was good. The linguine de mare had mussels and clams in the shell as well as shrimp and scallops. And the pasta was acceptable quality. The bread and salad always left a lot to be desired. For the past year, it's gone downhill. From using frozen thawed seafood mix without the shells to when the menu says, "crab" what they're actually giving you is surimi, and the garlic bread is worse than I remember eating in public school. The salad is a chunk of iceberg with a few grated carrot slices. It truly is cafeteria food. I eat it because it's provided for me but I'd never pay to eat the food. Chef Ramsey needs to gift this place a makeover. The food is low grade. Edit: business corrected me. I probably remember wrong about the dish linguini de mare having mussels. Looking at the thumbnails of my photos, there aren't mussels but you can see the clams in shell. I've never ordered ciopino here. And uf they claim the seafood isn't frozen thawed, ok. But the core result - that the food is low grade cafeteria food stands. And I'm not the only one who sees it. Oh, and the mushrooms, they are canned. They cannot say differently because I can tell.

Yelp
The food here is really good and reasonably priced. Their tiramisu is really good and the restaurant although small is packed. This place is exactly what you're looking for. Great food in an unassuming bel air strip mall shopping center.

Yelp
Definitely 5 star experience! The staff was so kind. Portions were huge! And came with bread and salad. I enjoyed fettuccine with shrimp. Nice little restaurant! Will return.

Yelp
It may be the other side of Natomas, but Anthony's Italian remains in my rotation when a pasta craving hits, especially easy to call ahead for pickup later in the evening since they're open until 9 PM. I'm a fan of the the tortellini all panna, and the Triple Treat (chicken parm, lasagna, fettuccine alfredo). These come with either a soup (minestrone) or a side salad (your choice of dressing) and garlic bread. The portions are huge and made fresh to order. If you're super hungry, a single order of tortellini is plenty. Even for me, as someone who can eat, I can only finish the salad, bread, and 2 out of the 3 items in the triple treat in one sitting. If you have room for dessert, they do have spumoni ice cream and tiramisu too. So much to choose from, an extensive menu variety whatever you fancy.

Yelp
This minority owned cozy Italian restaurant survived COVID because of how delicious they are. It's a small spot, but I've never had to wait for a table when I've been there for lunch and dinner. The service is fast and attentive and the food is perfection! *Chef's kiss!* They bring out toasted French bread little by little so it's always nice and warm for you. Craving comfort Italian food? This spot is calling!

Yelp
I can't speak on the service because I've never eaten in the restaurant, we always get Togo. I absolutely love this place. I order from here about once a month and it's great portions for the prices, quality is good and they are always friendly when we pick up our order

Yelp
I recently took a trip to Sacramento, and this restaurant was recommended by the hotel. Driving up, I was a little nervous. There were people arguing in the parking lot, and police were nearby dealing with people at the grocery store on the same shopping center. After checking reviews, I placed an order online for lasagna and a slice of tiramisu to celebrate my birthday. Upon arriving to pick up my meal, I was grated by a lovely human named Diana. Diana asked if I wanted soup or salad and thanked me for my order. Being greeted by someone with colorful make up on and a joyful smile was a bonus star!! I got back to the hotel to eat and I was blown away by my first bite of the lasagna!!! I immediately called to compliment the restaurant. I'm sorry it took so long to review. The lasagna was better than my mother in laws!!! The tiramisu was excellent, too!!

Yelp
The food was fresh when I got it! The lasagna was super tender and hot; the white sauce pasta was perfect in texture and saucey; and the chicken was also tender and generously covered in red sauce and cheese. This place reminds me of a mom and pop restaurant. The food tastes home made. The portions are generous in comparison to the Cheesecake Factory. I got their trio thinking I would get half the amount of what I got based on chain restaurant portions. If you're on a budget and want to feed your family, I would go here. The lady who I picked up my to go order was very kind and welcoming.

Yelp
I have been by here twice for lunch. The first time I had the lasagna, the second time the cannelloni. They were both good, but I liked the cannelloni better. The lunch specials come with a choice of soup or salad, both times I had the minestrone. The lunches also come with bread, which is just ok. The restaurant is small but nice, and the service was good.

Yelp
The food is always amazing. In all the years I've been coming here I've never had a bad meal. I love that it's a family owned business. I've lived in Sacramento all my life and in this area. I appreciate the intimacy of a small restaurant without all the noise, TVs and/or loud music. I will always return to Anthony's. I wish they hadn't changed their hours.

Yelp
The place may look like a hole in the wall but the food definitely tastes 5-star! I had the Baked Mosca and regretted nothing.

Yelp
Wow, what a find! Grateful for Yelpers who raved about this spot. Tucked in a fading strip mall at the corner of Truxel and El Camino, it could easily be missed. I'm glad I didn't. Delightful little eatery that's been around for 20+ years, and I can see why. Delicious authentic Italian food, reasonable prices, sensible portions, and pleasant staff. Kitchen turnaround time is very quick from order to food on the table. I usually try lasagna for my first visit to any Italian restaurant, and this passed my test. The salad was acceptable even though I'm no fan of knife-sliced romaine lettuce which leaves me with unwieldy pieces on my plate. All of the fixings were fresh and crispy so I forgave the dino slices. The tiramisu for dessert was heavenly. Yes, I had dessert, mostly because the lasagna portion was perfect for a meal. I mean, c'mon, I was outta there for $24 including tip for bread, salad, entree, and dessert. This guy is onto something - no wonder he's been successful for decades.

Yelp
Anthony's Italian Cuisine is a nice spot to go to if you're craving some cheesy, red saucy, pasta-y Italian food! Located in the heart of South Natomas, Anthony's serves up some great family food. Having tried this spot out a few times now, I have a good feel for what you're getting. I love their calamari and Lasagna, both absolutely hit the spot! The fettuccini Alfredo is a close runner-up! Also a nod to the Eggplant Parmigiana, my wife's favorite. I've only had their orders to go, but they do have a small dining area with a cozy feel to it. The staff have always been nice and I have no complaints about my experience! For the price, food and service, Anthony's Italian is a great choice for you and the family, there's so many options to choose from so I'll be returning.

Yelp
For the price this is a 4-star. Hard to find Veal Parm with angel hair and a salad for around $20. Went at lunch and was pretty slow. Dining room is clean and there was one waitress running the front of house. I knew what I wanted and quickly ordered. Received a side of toast with my salad. The salad, bread, and food was fresh. The veal was hot and fresh, except it was a lower quality veal that could have benefited from a bit more seasoning. The pasta was good and I enjoyed it. Service was good. Portions were good too.
google avatar

Yelp
I saw the glowing reviews for this place and went there for late dinner. It has the kit-che italian decor, I was promptly seated. I settled on veal marsala. I was promptly served a salad, then the meal. The dishes are really homiey. I swear an aunt had the same dishes. The waitress did check on me several times and I was promptly served my entree. I wasn't really impressed but the taste was good, the sauce was decent.

Yelp
I love Anthony's! Come here at least once a month. The service is great and the food is always hot, fresh and delicious. I love how simple the food is and the "hole in the wall" family atmosphere! Very cozy. If you're in the mood for Italian in Natomas, give this small business a try!
google avatar

Yelp
Great authentic Italian restaurant. Food and service were great. Dining room is nice. Prices were relatively modest for the quality and quantity of food. In any other area, I think this place would be packed. Everything was fresh. Desserts were nice ending to a delicious meal.

Ken B.

Yelp
Great food. Large portions. Reasonable prices. Service is excellent. This little family restaurant has been a gem in Natomas for years.

Yelp
We don't generally go to a strip mall to eat but when we do, we go to Anthony's! Excellent place to satisfy a craving for Italian. We love the Triple Threat. If you're new to this place try it! You will get three items. Lasagna, Fettuccine Alfredo and a Chicken Parmesan that will fill whatever type of Italian craving you may have. My husband and I are Italian by heritage and grew up enjoying the real deal. Some of their entrees remind us of our Nonna's food. The bread comes two slices at a time. More is delivered upon request. A bottle of wine is very affordable. Wine glasses are small but filled to the brim if you're ordering by the glass. We have NEVER had bad service here. Leo is a bonus, meeting your needs with ease and friendliness. Interior is vanilla. Dining area is small without the ambience of a fine dining experience but it still feels good and Italian. No need to dress up - Just bring your apatite! We often see the same folks enjoying dinner and the steady stream of take out tells the story of how popular their food is. Not only is it reasonably priced, it's delicious.

Yelp
Been coming here for over a decade with my family to celebrate our birthdays and this place never fails to satisfy us. We have tried lots of local Italian places and none of them compare to this place. The service is absolutely incredible, and the dishes are to die for. We will continue to give our business.

Yelp
My partner found this place on yelp after we moved to the area last year. We finally tried it and let's just say that we have been back 5 times in 2 weeks. From the house made salad dressings to the Anthony's triple treat, we have enjoyed EVERYTHING. While Patricia served us the 1st time, we have had the pleasure of being served by Krystal each other time. This is such a quaint place for any meal and the service is beyond perfect.

Yelp
Last weekend, our family went to Anthony's Italian Cuisine. We dined in the restaurant It is a fairly small restaurant and most of the tables were taken at 7 PM on a Saturday. The atmosphere is casual but nicely decorated for a family Italian restaurant. I had the Triple Treat which is a combination plate of chicken parmigiana, fettuccine alfredo, and lasagna. It was very tasty. My family had the angel hair pomodoro and the chicken marsala. All of the dinner entrees come with bread and a choice of soup or salad. The menu is very extensive with chicken, veal, and seafood options. It will take a dozen visits before I get through all of the entrees I found interesting on their menu. This was not our first time here and we have been happy at the end of each visit. I highly recommend Anthony's as our neighborhood Italian restaurant for the Natomas area.

Yelp
Went there for lunch with the team. Everyone enjoyed their meal and felt like it was excellent value for their money- a rarity these days. The soup, sandwiches and pasta were all very good and the team is ready to go there again.

Don M.

Yelp
My favorite little hole in the wall. The food is amazing. The staff is so nice and remembers their regulars. Our family has been visiting here for years and plan to continue

Tamara A.

Yelp
The restaurant in ambience looks very nice however we got our food to go. we ordered the ravioli, lasagna, clam chowder and minestrone soup, and they were all excellent.

Michelle B.

Yelp
Food was good service was slow. It took a long time to get the meal, but I'd rather have that if it's cooked fresh I need to get new wine glasses. This is not 1986 big wine glasses are needed for Italian restaurants.

Kay B.

Yelp
Lasagna & Meat Raviolis are our favorites. Excellent service always. Melt in your mouth goodness. Small quaint place with wonderful Italian food at a good price. Love their sauce. So fresh.

Scott A.

Yelp
Anthony's was amazing!!!! I had the triple threat, which was fettuccine Alfredo lasagna and chicken Parmesan. Every bit of it was delicious. It was probably an enough food for three people. I highly recommend.

Carmen H.

Yelp
This little restaurant could easily be overlooked but that would be a tragedy. Family owned and run, Anthony's offers an extensive menu & award winning fare including a "triple threat" ( chicken parmigiana, fettuccine Alfredo, & lasagna ). When I don't opt for my favorite eggplant parmigiano, l may splurge on their cioppino It is chock full of clams, mussels, white fish, scallops, and shrimp. Included with the entrees is garlic bread & a salad. You can purchase a reasonable bottle of wine.
google avatar

Vera M.

Yelp
Got the lasagna with alfredo, minestrone soap, and cannoli. Everything was amazing. The meat in the lasgana was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Soup was perfect and as good or better than spaghetti factory. The garlic bread could do a little better but it was good. Cannoli was new for me to try and was a perfect treat in the end. Price was good and better than spaghetti factory that charges way too much for lasagna. I will be back!

Yelp
We stopped into this little family run gem last week for an early dinner. It's clear they have a loyal local following. People were busy picking up their take out orders. We ordered a few dishes from the dinner menu and enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and local clientele. Our food arrived fairly quickly. It was piping hot and pretty darn tasty. Staff checked in on us at every point along the way. Stop by this little neighborhood gem next time you're in the area. They will be happy welcome you.

Yelp
This smaller restaurant has a homey atmosphere that compliments their comfort food. I feel this is their selling point. Other than that, I thought their food tasted just okay. I can see why many people enjoy this place. Although it was quite busy when I walked in, they seated me fairly quickly and took my order. My plate came with an ample amount of food, and it did not taste bad by any means. I just thought everything could have used a bit more salt, which was provided at our table. I tried a variety of entrees and felt this was true across the board. I personally prefer my food to be under-seasoned rather than over, so if you are okay with that, this may be the spot for you.
google avatar

Daria B.

Yelp
Their food is amazing and the bread is yummy. I am a big fan literally. Def worth trying !!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Food portions was a good size for the price of the plate, definitely going back to try more plates

Yelp
Amazing food! I got the manicotti and my boyfriend the chicken parmigiana and we both agreed both meals were sooo good! Not to mention the homemade tiramisu cake was to die for!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice quiet little spot the food was amazing. Service was on point. It's a little crowded, but I enjoyed myself. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
The food was delicious and flavorful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to those who are looking for Italian cuisine that is. Delicious and reasonably priced.

Yelp
So this isn't a fancy place by any means but with the taste, the portions, the price, and the genuinely nice staff, I have to give this place a 5 star review. Located in a shopping center next to a sushi place, it's a small little spot with probably only 10 tables. A lot of people were coming in to pick up. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread, Anthony's doubles (lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo) and the spaghetti carbonara. All were really tasty and a big size. We didn't even know it came with soup or salad, which makes the $13-15 price a great deal! Olive Garden would definitely charge you double. The meal was solid and it definitely hit the spot! Im ready to go back for takeout or dine in, whenever I'm in the mood for some pasta!
google avatar

Rachel K.

Yelp
We recently grabbed takeout from Anthony's and ordered a variety of dishes so we could find a favorite. They have so many choices and they're all really affordable. Once we got everything home we realized how big the portions really were. Each entree could easily feed two people. I love that they have special lunch options, including some great sandwich options. We tried the Submarine Sandwich and it came with crinkle cut fries. We also ordered some cheesy garlic bread and it paired perfectly with the pasta dishes. I'm excited to try more off the menu, so far everything has been delicious!
google avatar

steve l.

Yelp
Let me start by saying, your homemade food is life and love! We ordered delivery today because I'm home recovering from a hip replacement and Anthony's Linguini De Mare is just the ticket! When I dined in last month, the food was piping hot! When it arrived tonight it was still piping hot! When dining in, the ambiance is like home. You have two diners forever. I recommended friends to you and they were not disappointed at all!
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food! The prices are reasonable. My favorites are the meatballs and Parmesan chicken. We typically doordash it and it still arrives hot and fresh.
google avatar

Marsalia R.

Yelp
I won't give the four stars I wanted to give due to not knowing if the AC just went out or something. It was hot so towards the end of eating since I was eating Cioppino I was ready to go but I'm also tired. However the service was good and I loved feeling like it was intimate because after a long day it was a nice place to go over our day. His fettuccine was great with chicken. He loved the bread and bread on the side with cheese. I wasn't a huge fan of our salad and not the best salad out of any I've had but I would still rate it a 5 if it wasn't hot so I didn't want to take a star away. We will be making this a regular place. Maybe for take out or when it gets so much cooler.

Tamara S.

Yelp
Service was perfect and friendly, cozy atmosphere, the food was delicious, the shellfish fresh and sweet ... mwah!

Yelp
I had just moved to this part of town and ordered lunch for delivery. The food was delicious and amazing and fast. I felt the quality and affordability was awesome. Overall, a lovely lunch from a wonderful place that welcomed me to the area.

Nathaniel N.

Yelp
The restaurant has a classic and vintage vibe with a small and intimate seating area. They play some nice Italian music on the tv as well. I'm not familiar with authentic Italian food so I asked the waitress what she recommends. She was very nice and let me know what she thinks is good. I went with the Cannelloni Rossini. It's two, big pasta shells stuffed with beef and pork and covered in sauce and cheese. The meat was well seasoned and contrasted well with the sauce and cheese. I was surprised by how good this dish was. I don't know too much about Italian flavors but I know that this dish was delicious!

Steven P.

Yelp
I've been living over in this area for 20 years but never stopped here because it just never really dawned on me to eat here but the food is excellent and I'm gonna start coming weekly!

Ed ..

Yelp
After recommendations from co-workers and friends, I tried it and was impressed. Anthony's is reminiscent of the small, family owned and operated Italian eateries I frequented years ago in Pennsylvania. Great food and service at reasonable prices is especially refreshing with today's economy. The Triple Treat is a great introductory sampler to try full servings of chicken parmigiana, fettuccini alfredo and lasagna for under $20.
