I came here to go wedding dress shopping and had the best experience! Lilly was amazing. She knew SO much information, really got me clipped up so I could get a good idea of what the dress would look like altered, and she was just so fun and personable. I went here first before going to 2 other dress shops and I was extremely bummed with those experiences after having such a great experience here. Highly recommend, all the staff was great, they have stunning and affordable dresses and I can’t wait to wear mine on my big day! Thanks Lilly!!

Google
juliette in the bridal department made my cousins first dress try on super fun and exciting. not only was she possibly the nicest person i’ve ever met but also made great suggestions and provided us with helpful perspectives on everything we asked about. working with her today was a treat!

Google
It was awesome. I got this beautiful dress there too and it was even on sale! Also I absolutely loved the christian music that played in the store.😊👍 I definitely will end up going there again!

I was just in cherry creek store and I was treated badly and disrespectfully by the manager or that's what she said she was. I went to exchange Mother jeans that didn't fit and it was a gift but I had the receipt she told me she couldn't exchanged it fir anything else or give me a store credit and she returned it to original payment without my authorization. After I ask to fix her mistake she was extremely disrespectful and said I treat people the way they treat me . I just said to her that costumer should be always treated respectfully. No store should allow any employee to disrespect costumer in any circumstances .

Google
Lily helped me shop for a wedding dress today and I couldn’t be more grateful! She spent so much time with me, helped me find my style, and made me fee comfortable all throughout. She’s got a gift for dress selection & offered great ideas. I’d 100% recommend Lily and the Anthropologie wedding dress selection.

I booked an appointment to try on wedding dresses while I was in Denver and had a wonderful experience with Jamie. She helped me find the right style and fit and they had so many options in my size and I felt comfortable the whole time. She pulled so many dresses for me to try, was patient and non-judgemental throughout trying on so many dresses and being one on one with her as stylist. Check out the great quality and options in their bridal selection and service.

Google
I had my wedding dress appointment here with Dee Dee Flynn and cannot thank her enough! She was absolutely wonderful with the process, start to finish. She was supportive, helpful and kind. If you are in the market for a wedding dress, she is your girl! Thank you Dee Dee :)

Google
Great store . The staff is always really nice. They have great pieces last a long time that wear well and are their own style. The sweaters are beautiful and the wool ones are so warm. I have pieces that are over 17 years that I purchased here that I still love to wear. Their style is timeless which I love. 💎

Nika H.

Yelp
Trying on wedding dresses was an amazing experience! I was helped by Jamie, and she was so attentive, kind, and understanding. She provided a lot of good dress options, gave honest feedback, and made sure to include my loved ones that were shopping with me, as well.

Yelp
Had a great time trying on wedding dresses here! Paige was my stylist and awesome at helping me through the whole process. The dresses ended up being a little too casual for what I wanted, but it was still such a great experience. I actually might end up getting my reception dress from here. Either way, I loved my appointment here!

Yelp
Are you a male? If so don't go here without expecting scornful looks of shame. I went here to get my wife something for Mother's Day and you would have thought I was single handily responsible for overturning Roe v. Wade, the employees are rude and go out of their way to make sure you feel unwelcome.

Heather S.

Yelp
Wow. I thought we were living in 2022 but apparently it's still 1995. Bought a pair of shoes online. They didn't fit. I thought it would be easy to take them to the store to return. Wrong. Anthro will not accept returns for shoes 'because they do it sell shoes.' Although clearly they do, as I have the receipt to prove it. What a stupid policy. There are plenty of stores that have online only items, and all of them accept returns for these items in store, because THEY SHIP THEM BACK TO THEIR HOME OFFICE OR THE DISTRIBUTOR. Way to raise the customer's level of effort unnecessarily.

Yelp
I just found the perfect hat for me here and that's saying a lot since I wear earmuffs every winter in lieu of a hat because hats make my hair static-y and messed up. This hat however looks like something that came of out the 30s. It's white and loose fitting enough to avoid the static and it has a flower on the side of it. I also love their girlie dresses that they sell. And it's true, as Adam R says, that you can pretty much please any lady in your life with a gift from here. Because they sell everything - things to wear, things for your home, accessories and so on. It's also true that it is super expensive so those ladies better be pretty special for the money you'll be shelling out. But, the quality shows and these items will all easily last long enough to justify the cost.
google avatar

Jerrica Z.

Yelp
I just visited Anthro to try on some of the BHLDN bridesmaid dresses I saw online. I had two dresses in my hand and the lady came up to me, didn't even say hi, asked if I had an appointment (which I didn't) and then continued to tell me I couldn't try any dresses on and they were fully booked. It was 3:30 on a Tuesday and there was literally no one in the store. I asked if I could just quickly try the two dresses on that I had in my hand and she said "no, you'll need to make an appointment with a stylist." I said "ok," turned to put the dresses back, and she just walked away. No bye, no sorry about that, nothing. SO RUDE. Totally disappointed in their customer service! I understand it's policy but maybe try delivering it with a smile next time.

Megan C.

Yelp
Hope management reads these reviews because It looks like the appalling customer service in their BHLD seems to be a trend they don't care to fix. Same as someone else I went back to look at dresses, no one is back there to help or answer questions so I had a dress in hand and a woman comes up and just "do you have an appointment"... no it's Anthropologie why would I think to make one is my first thought. Then says I can't look at any dresses today without one so just write styles down and come back at a later date and I can try on 8 max. I go to hang the dress i had in hand and she takes it from me and says, "I'll hang that back where it belongs." Well clean up your racks then because that's where I found it. How about you use your clearly very well developed customer service skills to talk to me about the process, why shopping here is great, what it will be like etc. I won't be back, way to ruin a first experience.
google avatar

Liz A.

Yelp
I have never received such customer service like I did with Jessie in the BHLDN department. She helped me with a bridesmaid dress and cared so much for my experience I will never forget it. I'm getting married next year and was going to use a boutique bridal shop for my bridesmaids and my dress, but now I'm going with BHLDN solely based on my experience with Jessie. This girl needs a promotion!
google avatar

Lucia G.

Yelp
Would give it no stars if I could - appalling customer service. I avoid this shop because I'm unimpressed by snobbery from sales people - so I shop online. All these bad reviews are earned. Upon arriving to save a few dollars on an In store return I'm turned away because they have decided to have a fashion show in the store instead of doing their job. The snide millennial sales person laughed at my expense with other people attending this show when I expressed frustration and surprise that they had simply decided to not be a retail store for the evening. Last time I visit this store- I'll gladly pay return shipping and avoid Anthropology altogether, always fashionable but cheaply constructed in more ways than just the clothing.
google avatar

Jamie B.

Yelp
It's ok. The customer service associates are snobby. They carry Valuspa candles (love) and I snagged a couple during Black Friday. The clothing is not really my thing, but they do have some fun $100+ statement pieces if you need a blingy top or something.
google avatar

Laura L.

Yelp
I'm a recovering Anthropologie addict, but once in a while I can't resist crossing the threshold to check out their sale racks. Occasionally, you can find a fantastic deal, but you have to keep your eye out - for your best chance on finding great sale clothes, I recommend going during the week, like on a Wednesday or Thursday. If you wait until the weekend when everyone and their sister are shopping, you won't find as good a selection. I just have to give a shout out to their management. I bought a few sale shirts today (it's been a while since I shopped, ok!) and although I'm not usually this fussy, one of the tops had some damage to the front so they agreed to give another 10% off. It wasn't until I got home that I realized they didn't actually take the discount off, so I called up and the manager was nice enough to credit me over the phone. So, a high five for them. I do still think their clothes are super expensive (albeit, really beautiful) and have only had trouble with their Moth line, which is occasionally shoddily stitched together. Also, I think it's entertaining to walk through the Cherry Creek mall in my hipster hat, ratty jeans and old tshirt and get the slightly wary up-and-down scan from salespeople. Dude, I have money to spend here so don't look at me like I'm weird. I clean up nice.

Yelp
I love love love the clothing, shoes, jewelry and home stuff here. But, I just can't shop at this place anymore... their return policy is pretty bad, and considering I can get most of the same stuff either at Nordstrom or Decade or some other place, I'd rather either support Nordstrom who has the best return policy ever, or a local business. It really does pain me to walk by the store and not go in, but for the price of their clothing they should offer better return policy (i.e. customer service).

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Do not place pick up orders with this store! Drove 30 minutes to the store when I got the email that my order was ready. Using the steps the email provided, I "checked in" when I arrived but was very confused because there was no parking labeled "curb-side pickup". After waiting nearly 30 minutes in my car and never seeing anyone come out, I went in only to see the store closed, though online it said different. I was rudely told there was nothing they could do for me by a girl who popped out to tell me they were closed for cleaning. After driving down a SECOND time, I got home only to find that all of my individual candles were the wrong kind. So inferiating. I was also informed they do not do curb side service, though the email that is sent implies quite the opposite.
google avatar

Amanda W.

Yelp
I really like this store; they carry unique vintage-esque clothes that you really don't see anywhere else. It's arranged and decorated it such a fun and funky way, and yet with sophistication, that you may find yourself wishing that they would come and design your home decor. The gals that work there are a generally cheery lot and they'll take good care of you in the posh and comfy dressing rooms. You can return online orders to the store within 90 days (two big thumbs up!). They have "sales" frequently, but because the prices are pretty steep to begin with, a "sale" at Anthropologie is still a splurge in my book.
google avatar

Laura T.

Yelp
Dearest Anthropologie, I love you so much! Your clothes, your accessories, your household goods...they entice and hypnotize me with their beautiful quality, sensual design, and overall explosion of pure and utter adorableness. I'm head over heels for you, yet like a naughty child caught with her hand in the cookie jar you reprimand me with your outrageous prices. Although those shoes and dress cost me nearly half a week's salary I could not help myself. Do I ever end up homeless on the streets of Denver I shall blame you....however; I'll probably be the most stylish bum the world has ever seen! with love, admiration and an empty wallet, Laura Oh and on a side note: to the girl complaining about the exchange policy, I have no idea what you're talking about. I've bought dresses from here, worn them to weddings and returned them the next day no problem *shhhhh don't tell Anthropologie please* In fact I once bought a dress, decided I didn't like it, returned it for another dress, decided I didn't like that either and returned it for a full refund all in the same day (yeah yeah, I'm an indecisive SOB I realize this). In my opinion, their exchange policy can't be beat...if you want a shitty exchange policy then head over to Forever 21

allison o.

Yelp
Very condescending attitudes here (yes, your shoppers can tell ;) ). I'll shop elsewhere - too many other options.
google avatar

Emily Q.

Yelp
Majority of the items in this store are made in China and other third world countries, and yet, they price their items as though someone is making them on location. The quality of said items is always low. I have spent $100+ on tops that have fallen apart upon wearing them one time. I'm all about paying more for quality, but what are you paying more for here? This stuff can be selected locally for approximately the same cost, but while also supporting small businesses. Don't fall for their marketing.

Lauren C.

Yelp
Anthropology has very unfortunate return policies, that you are not able to return shoes in store, and when you call customer service no one answers
google avatar

Carissa M.

Yelp
I really love Anthropologie - and every time I go in I find about 100 things that I would love to buy. Unfortunately I don't usually find $100 when I enter Anthropologie, so my shopping experience here has been limited. That said, I have purchased a few items from Anthropologie and loved them all. Most recently, I purchased some unique drawer pulls (cute aqua crystal style) to replace the ho-hum drawer pulls that came with some office furniture I purchased at AFW. The drawer pulls really gave a cute look to the furniture and didn't totally break the bank! I will continue to shop at Anthropologie - and maybe in '09 I'll actually live up to my hope of saving up and entering the store with some money in my pocket!

Yelp
Anthropologie is one of the very few truly unique stores at "the mall." If it were not a chain clothing store you would swear that it should be on Pearl Street in Boulder. I really like the colorful fashions, just this side of quirky, but not weird. It's hard to find fun dresses and skirts that don't all look the same in most other stores - but Anthropologie has an entire store of cute dresses to choose from. There is also a good selection of great looking, high-end jeans as well. Anthropologie is not for everyone. If you only wear monochrome, tailored fashions, or if you are terrified of wearing something that is a bit on the youthful side, don't bother. But, if your not afraid to mix things up and are tired of the same old Banana Republic / J Crew outfits, Anthropologie will give you just what you need. My daughter LOVES the household items including linens and kitchen wear - all of which look like they belong in an eclectic cottage. Not my thing, but I can see why some women like it. Caution: Anthropologie's fashions and hard goods come from all over the world. Overall the quality is very good but I have seen some things that look like they might not make it through a few trips in the washing machine. The staff is department store friendly but not especially helpful. They'll get you a fitting room and find you another size but that's about it. Don't expect a lot of help. But hey, it's the mall.

Yelp
This adorable shop is near my work -if I had an accountant she would think this is a bad thing- and I've been shopping here for 5 years. I love the clothes and the sales even more. By the way, Tuesday is markdown day. Uh, I have got to stop telling people that. I've made friends with several of the employees- I love it when shops have tenured employees- its a sign of a good boss. Alex, Sherry (sp?)and Eileen have all been consistently friendly, helpful and accommodating. I've brought to them some fairly uncommon scenarios and they've always taken care of me. Color me disappointed that the bedspread I bought here has faded, but that's my only real gripe.
google avatar

Margaret H.

Yelp
In general I absolutely adore anthro. This store however just always has the worst customer service. I've called a few times to have items set aside and I always get hung up on and then forced to have the same conversation with multiple people.... I've asked for help in the fitting room and been forgotten about multiple times. Again going back to the same conversation with multiple people. I'm new to denver so I know not anthro stores are created equal but now I just shop online to avoid this particular store. I'm not exactly a fancy dresser when I shop so maybe they think I'm just wasting their time at the store when I ask for help but for the prices of the clothes...... It better be top notch service so you won't see me in this location anymore.
google avatar

Yelp
Anthropologie has a great selection of pretty, feminine clothing that doesn't look like the run of the mill kind of clothing you get at other stores. The clothing is very sophisticated, romantic, and chic. Gorgeous home décor and kitchen items. A lot of stuff I don't need, but somehow, I end up at the register, handing my credit card to the sales associate, hoping that Mastercard won't mind pushing my credit limit back a bit. Again. Like everyone said, this place ain't cheap. But you're definitely paying for quality here. If you need something cheaper, walk across the mall to Urban Outfitter's, which is a bit cheaper. I wish I had an apron since I cook so often (read: eat out often), so luckily I can find one here. I think every woman (and even every man) should have an apron and do the whole Donna Reed thing every once in awhile (borrowed from both the Donna Reed Show and Gilmore Girls). So many pretty, romantic looking items that will help even the most butch woman feel feminine. Lots of journals, books, calendars, purses, wallets, and candles. Follow the herd of women back to the sales section in the back. It's pretty big, but you might get elbowed when trying to look at the racks.
google avatar

Ran T.

Yelp
If I am in the mall, I would always check out Anthropologie because the store always smell so good and I love their deco. Today I went there because the lipstick I bought had some defect. They exchanged for free and no fuss. I would definitely come back even though I can't afford most of their stuff. :D
google avatar

Eleanor H.

Yelp
I had the best experience today shopping at this Anthro. The ladies had something set aside for me (wrapped perfectly to prevent damage) and were so sweet even though the holiday rush was on. My daughter was with me (age 7) and they made her feel like a queen. When we left she said she loved shopping with me and loved that store. I bought several items including 2 pillows and many plates along with a cute top. Anthro, thank you for hiring nice ladies that are sweet and respectful. Keep up the good work.

Jane D.

Yelp
Horrible customer service both in this store and main cs support. I returned an expensive dress with the tags still on and had my receipt. They "said" they did the return but months later the money is not back in my bank account and they have the dress. I think that classifies as stealing. Snobby, useless sales people. Oh, and the clothes now suck, NOT worth your time or money.

Grace C.

Yelp
They are stupid AF! They left a security control tag on the coat I purchased. I set off an alarm at DSW! They called me back into the store to search me! It was humiliating. I go back into Anthropologie to have them remove the tag and they ASK ME FOR MY RECEIPT. Do they think I'm stupid enough to steal something and then take it back to remove the tag?! How rude. How infuriating. What idiots.

Antonia S.

Yelp
The manager Krista is seriously amazing. I called from Arizona in search of a BHLDN that was sold out online. Even though they didn't have it in their store, she was able to find a store that did have it in Kentucky, gave me their number and then told me to call back if I needed anything else. I will be stopping in for sure next time I am in Denver.

Emma J.

Yelp
I used to love to shop at this store, but have been disappointed recently because they reduced the size of the clearance/sale section in the back of the store. The store has a huge bridal section (which I'm not interested in) that replaced the large area for sale/clearance clothing. Now they have a small room for these items and I'm really bummed. The room hardly holds more than a few people and about 1/6 the number of sale items that were on the floor previously.
google avatar

Toni D.

Yelp
I love this store! the Cherry Creek location always seems to have a great selection of sale merchandise. The full price stuff is just too expensive and usually ends up on sale eventually. So basically I just go straight to the back of the store where all the deals are.

Amanda H.

Yelp
8 customers in line - 1 person working the front counter. finally decided to add another employee at a register while line is still getting longer. No apology from employee for our wait. Apparently we should be grateful for standing in line for so long.

april r.

Yelp
Plenty of sales people but no one willing to take my money. Waited to check out for over 10 minutes while someone was returning items and taking a while. No one else seemed to care that I was standing there with over $200 worth of items in my arms. Plenty of staff walking around and chatting, friendly as can be, but no one notices when someone wants to actually buy something? I put my items down and walked out. Probably won't shop there again.
google avatar

Lauren C.

Yelp
This is my favorite antho in the Denver metro area. For me it's the staff that is refreshing and always helpful and easy to work with on a purchase. Attitude goes a long way! Kudos to Cherry Creek Anthro!
google avatar

Heather B.

Yelp
Anthropologie is one of the most unique stores that exists these days. Unfortunately, I tend not to shop there often due to the expense. Doesn't mean I don't refrain from visiting the store every time I'm at the mall! The clothes are comfortable, eye-catching, and unique. The housewares are gorgeous and inspiring. I'd certainly shop at the store more often if my income were larger!!
google avatar

Laura O.

Yelp
I love, love love Anthropologie! The fact that you can get unique, quality items for any type of event is great. My most recent purchase is the cutest apron I've ever seen. Now I can bake to my hearts content and not worry about getting anything on my clothing...although the apron is so cute I don't want to get anything on it either!
google avatar

Mary P.

Yelp
OK - maybe I should've given Anthro a four-star rating because of the prices, but I couldn't resist - this place is the bomb! You can't find the styles (at least the tops and sweaters) anywhere else. You go into the store and it even smells welcoming. Every time I go, there's a new selection, and it's always a novelty to check the sales rack to see if that hidesouly overpriced item you fell in love with has been marked down. The fitting room gals are always cheery, friendly, and helpful, and they tolerate real prima donnas. I just recently found out that the company also owns Urban Outfitters, which carries slighlty cheaper clothing with cute cuts, but they're quite a bit more casual.
google avatar

FeistyGizmo v.

Yelp
Typical CC snob shop. Has some nice candles/perfums and that's about it. Some of the clothing looks like it belongs at Chico's.
google avatar

Grace B.

Yelp
They have, hands down, the best sundresses. Unique styles and the quality is impeccable. I have a dress I bought at the SF Anthropologie almost 10 years ago and it's still in perfect condition. Hasn't stretched or faded and I continue to get compliments on it. That, to me, is well worth the $150.
google avatar

Kae E.

Yelp
I received AMAZING customer service @ the CC Anthro today, so much so that it prompted me to write my first yelp review, and contact their customer service to applaud them. My dry cleaner recently lost a dress that I purchased at the store in 2008, so when I was in the mall today I stopped to ask if there was any way they could help me provide documentation for the price (thinking there would be no way, and I'd have to jump through a bunch of hoops). However the employees I spoke with were SO helpful, and able to search for the dress in their database, provided me with as much info as they could, and sympathize with my sad lost dress story. I really appreciated all their help!
google avatar

Kate G.

Yelp
I know I'm in the minority here, but Anthro clothing is just not my bag. Hateful politics of the corporate ownership aside, if I'm going to dress in over-priced, overly precious and a little bit ridiculous clothing, I'm going to hotfoot it over to J.Crew and put myself in some lobster print pants, v-neck tennis sweater, grosgrain ribbon belt with scottie dogs on it and espadrilles. But besides the clothing, this store has some adorable kitchen and housewares. Again, most are over-priced and overly precious, but there are some simple things that I've seen here that are hard to find elsewhere. Like their cute, unpatterned but brightly colored porcelain berry baskets ($14 and they look just like the paper baskets you'd see at a farmers market), cereal bowls, butter dishes (too small for an entire stick of butter though?), measuring spoons, salt and pepper shaker sets, egg crates and funnels. Lots of lovely colors of the rainbow and things you can set out for display because they're just that cute. I've bought dresser knobs here that in spite of being expensive, are very unique and rival the selection of any hardware or big box home improvement store. I saw some hand-blown glass drinking glasses that were small but pretty and under $10 apiece. Another bonus of this store is the large sale section - both clothing and housewares. It's a fun place to buy a gift for the food lover in your life. Huge selection of foo-foo and ruffled aprons for those who like them.

Gillian A.

Yelp
Typical Anthropologie: $350+ for a polyester dress. In a beautiful beaded style, I would expect silk. The music is WAY too loud here. I can't stand to shop at this store anymore. Will someone please turn it down?

C B.

Yelp
What a fun store to shop in! I wanted to get quite a few things but because that means I would have to lug it all back to Hawaii with me I have to have some control. Well enter the manager that offered to waive the shipping to Hawaii. I did some major damage in there.

Julie O.

Yelp
LOVE this store. Sometimes the way it's laid out is a little overwhelming, but you always find something cute, unique and sassy. GREAT sales. Almost never buy full price b/c sales are too good to pass up

Paige R.

Yelp
Did you know that the Cherry Creek Anthropologie has a personal shopper? I was in the store last week with a couple of friends and saw the marketing while waiting in line for the fitting rooms. This is a free service offered to their customers! You basically can call anytime to schedule an appointment. The personal shopper will get all your sizing information and outfit the dressing room for you prior to your arrival! Way to go! No more waiting! I love their clothes, but sometimes can't wrap my head around putting outfits together. The gal at the register told us the personal shopper for the store would be able to help me get out of my black and grey color scheme and incorporate my current wardrobe. She also told us we could make an afternoon of it and invite a few friends to join in on the experience. They even supply the fitting rooms with snacks and beverages! I can't wait to try this! What a fabulous way to shop with the girls! Stay tuned for an update! PS I have never had an issue returning anything at that store. I use the green Anthropologie card that tracks my purchases and price I paid for each item. I have returned stuff that I have worn...washed....they take anything back...I have never gotten any grief from them.

Linda S.

Yelp
I used to love this Anthro in Cherry Creek. Shopped here for 7 yrs, when Megan was the store manager this store was outstanding, truly never a bad experience, the girls made shopping fun. But up until about 4 months ago the customer service changed. Employees are older ladies, which is fine, but there is one lady who has what is similar to a man haircut that has an attitude - especially when doing a return, she is stuck up and takes the fun out of shopping here. And unfortunately is always at the cash register so she can't even be avoided! I stopped shopping here months ago and make the drive to park meadows mall anthro instead, gals there still have life in them! The employees here at Cherry creek have gotten older in age, customer service has changed, atmosphere is just different once new staff started joining after the store manager Megan left. I literally walked into the Cherry creek store last week, picked up some things, stood in line to checkout & put my stuff down and walked out when I saw the old lady with a man cut working. This one person just ruins the store, don't know what this store manager was thinking when he/she did the hiring after Megan left. Too bad, I used to spend a ton of money here, but my wallet is certainly happier now that I'm not always cruising around in this store! Cherry creek anthro is by my house and Park meadows ( the preferred store) is a bit of a drive for me so shopping at Anthro is at a minimum these days. Too bad.
