Amazing experience in beautiful villa. Where it felt like italy. Interesting history and story as you would expect from Antinori. Great wines.

We were lucky enough to have Melinda as our lovely tour guide and tasting expert! My husband and I quickly became friends with her, and she created an incredible experience for us from start to finish. She was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were welcomed with delicious bubbles and were given an additional tasting of our favorite grape, which was really special. The property was absolutely stunning and it was really sweet for my husband and I, since we got married in Tuscany. Between the villa feel and beautiful landscape, it felt like we were right back there! The reflection pond brings sweet serenity, and the rolling hills truly remind me of a screensaver it was so picturesque. Everything was remarkable. Safe to say we came home with lots of wine and are already excited to go back! Thank you again, Melinda, we are so grateful!

What an amazing property and Melinda was a terrific hostess! The cave was incredible and the vista from the tasting room was breathtaking! So much history at Antinori and the wine is incredible! Looking forward to visiting them in Italy soon!

It’s kind off remote. Don’t take a Uber. Staff is very friendly. Wines are great, bites were fresh and homemade. By the way, the most astonishing view in the whole valley.

Top flight tasting experience! The drive up was scenic and the view and the wines were incredible! The new experience center is stunning and although not quite up and running for our visit, we look forward to experiencing it the next time we visit.

Antica is a very beautiful winery with great scenery and an incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and accommodating staff. Unfortunately I had reservations during this year's fires and we had to evacuate during the tasting. The staff were so accommodating and did not charge us for the service because of the circumstances. Excellent service! I will be back next time I'm in Napa!

I meant to review this place last year when I came, OMG what a beautiful hidden gem, the ride up to the property is so breaktaking that it was the most beautiful experience I’d ever had! My tasting was small and intimate and served with amazing breads, cheeses, and dried fruits (still the best food paring I’ve had in Napa) it was just I and another couple and our host was so nice, the olive oil was astonishing which I purchased to take home (Almost a year later and I still have half a bottle). I wish I could have made it back this time while I’m here, but I’ll be back in June with friends and they HAVE to see this beautiful place!

Absolutely beautiful! A trek up on the mountain but totally worth it! The only reason for 4stars is due to the fact that we made a reservation and when we showed up they claimed they called and cancelled it. They didn't. None-the-less they still gave us a tasting it was well worth it and we had a great tour!

Yelp
Returned for our second tasting and this time there were caves to explore! Townsend Cab is the standout -amusing background story of the Seventh Day Adventist trying to sell her 24 acres on Atlas Peak with the condition that no wine would be made. Obviously this was acceptable and when told she would get less money, she dropped the requirement and now a wine is named for her. Kim is a gracious host and we highly recommend the tour, but book way in advance.

Yelp
4/22; This was absolutely our favorite winery in Napa Valley, and this was our 4th trip. It is a 20 minute drive off the St. Helena Highway up through gorgeous vineyards and the Napa County landscape. Once you get to the top of the mountain, the views are breathtaking. We had a private winetasting for nine people in the winery kitchen, and felt like we were members of the family. The small plate had a bite to complement every wine and the wines were absolutely superb. We laughed, we cried, we shared wonderful stories with our group and their GM, Glen. The Antinori family was been making wine for 600+ years and you taste the perfection in their wines. If you want an exceptional experience; you'll never forget your tasting at Antica. Make your trip to Napa memorable and book your tasting before you arrive; you're in for a treat!

Yelp
On Valentine's Day we decided to make a last minute day trip to Napa and Kim, or amazing hostess, was able to fit us in for an appointment to taste. I have visited their Florence winery, a must if you are ever there, and wasn't shocked when I received the same amount of genuine hospitality here as I did in Italy. The Antinori's and their staff really know how to make you feel welcome. Kim was full of knowledge about the wines we were tasting as well as the Antinori family.

Yelp
This review is long overdue. My family and I vacationed in Napa Valley in 2016. During our stay we went for a tasting at Antica Winery. The hospitality and the individualness of the attention we received was beyond belief! The wine speaks for itself. Their Pinots and Cabs are family favorites and I put in order before each holiday and family occasion to make sure our little home cellar remains impervious to requests for "a bottle or two to take with us". Raised kids with great palates! We've even had Kim ship bottles to our rooms at Disney World several times. I'm talking great wine, great service, and people who make you feel like you're calling a friend.

Yelp
As a Napa local, I'd say this is now probably one of my favorite wineries I've been to in the valley. A bit off the beaten path, but the views from the estate and patio area are unbelievably stunning. Kim was so nice and knowledgeable about the wines, which were excellent. The reserve Cabernet Sauvignon in particular was a real standout. We really enjoyed the charcuterie plates as well and estate-grown olive oil. Truly a hidden gem and well worth the drive up the mountain.

Yelp
Had the best experience! Wonderful guide, food, wine, and views! Learned a lot about the Antonori family.

Yelp
At the recommendation of another winery, we made an appointment at Antica, owned by the famous Antinori family winemakers from Italy. It's a well kept secret off the beaten path. It's by appointment only, so be sure to call in advance as their wine tasting appointments are very limited. It's quite a ways up Soda Canyon road off the Silverado Trail in Napa, but it was well worth the drive. You drive all the way up the road until you reach a large stone gate to the massive 1200 acre private estate. Once you arrive at the wine tasting room, you'll feel as if you're in someone's private home. Our hostess was very nice and gave us a tour of the property and wine cave. She poured 4 different wines, one white and three reds that were all really drinkable now just as the other winery had mentioned was really great about them. I really enjoyed all of their wines, which ranged in price from $35-$95, and wished I could have taken home a bottle of each. Along with the wines, they served a delicious plate of cheese, olives, salami and chocolate for each person. The tasting fee is $30, but was refunded when I bought a bottle of their wine. Having been to Napa countless times, this was such a great find and recommendation off the beaten path!

Yelp
Antica Winery, quite the Napa Valley experience. From the moment we drove through the gated entrance, we knew something special awaited us. Wonderful wine, beautiful grounds and gracious hospitality shown by our tour guide and host Kim, and Lupe, who assisted in the tasting room. Don't forget to try their olive oil. Pressed from olives grown on the estate.

Yelp
Exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived at this marvelous vista, the hospitality of Lindsey, Kim, Lupe, and the GM Glenn were the BEST! Antica's wines beginning with the sauvignon blanc, rose, and Cabs were exceptional at a price point that is unbelievable by Napa Valley pricing standards. Without question, this was our best wine discovery over the past 30 days in Napa Valley. We immediately joined the wine club which is modestly affordable. Antica is a hidden gem that should be a MUST on everyone's next wine trip experience.

Yelp
Antica is a hidden gem. The wine is fantastic and the winery is a little slice of heaven. Make reservations and when you go don't depend on your GPS to get you to the door. :-)

Yelp
I may have caught a buzz hitting this high altitude winery before even tasting the wine but there is no doubt this place is the best of the best in Napa. The private tours are intimate and being able to try wines that are only sold at the winery made it a perfect trip. I came a lover of the chard and cab and left a lover of the Antinori family and all they encompass in fantastic wine making.

Yelp
This visit was the highlight of our trip to Napa/Sonoma. It was my only "have to" winery and it did not disappoint. The visit was extraordinary and the ladies were professional, and so hospitable. It is truly a hidden gem and sets the mark for what a winery experience should be. And I loved the vino! Antica is in a class of its own.
