Antica Osteria del Vino Buono

Lovely cosy restaurant serving Bergamo classics. Highly recommended! The owners create a welcoming atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious!

At Antica Osteria Del Vino Buono in Bergamo, the service was great, with staff that were very welcoming and friendly. We began with a shared plate of charcuterie and cheese, which offered a nice mix of flavors. This was followed by the ‘drunk’ risotto (daily specials) and ravioli; the risotto was fine, though it didn't stand out in flavor. The ravioli, filled with meat and topped with sage, bacon, and melted butter, was exceptionally tasty. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant further enhanced our enjoyable dining experience.

The food is pretty bad for the restaurant. They brought what they claim to be a “slowly cooked pork” within 10 minutes, which means it’s premade. Feels like I ate in a school canteen a very mediocre dish. The tomatoes they brought were not quite fresh either. The interior and service is good, but I’m disappointed with a food a lot, waste of money.

A wonderful local and authentic place to eat. Our waitress was so friendly, explained each plate and suggested wines to accompany the meal. It’s not expensive and the food is very good.

We had an amazing experience there. Everything felt authentic and great, from the place itself - carved from massive stones - to the food and service. And all of this with very good value for money. The only "downside" is the limited selection of wines. But overall, we couldn't recommend more!

One of the best places in Bergamo Alta. Excellent food, fabulous setting, very friendly service and all of this at a cheap price. For 25 euros you get water, 2 glasses of wine, any first course from the menu and any second course from the menu!

This is the real deal. Local cuisine for locals. Best zuppa fagioli e pasta we’ve ever had and we’ve had a lot. Fantastic coniglio. Sant’Agostino vino rosso was some of the best ever also. Great service. Amazing Prosecco. Very reasonable prices.
