"This old monastery in Moirago, overlooking the Naviglio Pavese canal, was founded in 1250 and converted into an inn as early as 1478. Centuries may have passed, but the tradition of hospitality continues in the building’s enclosed painted portico, as well as in its two warm and atmospheric dining rooms. The chef’s Puglian origins explain the abundant use of vegetables and raw fish dishes, while in winter the cuisine takes on a more northern Italian flavour. Good selection of wines by the glass." - Michelin Inspector
The atmosphere was amazing and so were the staff. The food was good and honest, however, for the price point, it could’ve been refined a bit.

Nice place, interesting menu but prices are big. Service could be better.

My husband and I had discovered this restaurant last year and we've been back several times as we find the hosts most helpful, serving absolutely delicious seasonal dishes. The fried dishes are particularly well done, you won't go wrong ordering them. A go to location just outside Milan especially on a Sunday.

Excellent food, would have given 5 stars but we waited 20 mins for 3rd course (il secondo) also it seemed to us only those having prosecco had an ice bucket and our very good Soave was warm by the time we got our secondo. Nice staff but they seemed a bit overwhelmed as the evening wore on..
