Finally got to visit ANTICO FORNO, and it did not disappoint! We were seated at an outdoor table, but it wasn’t too cold, even on Christmas Day. Most of the dishes were excellent—standouts were the octopus, gnocchi, squid ink pasta, polenta, and lemon tart.
The octopus was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. The gnocchi was another highlight—crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and featuring unique flavor combinations. The candied lemon tart was beautifully deconstructed with delicate lemon elements—absolutely loved it!
The only miss for us was the apple strudel; the filling was a bit too dry for our taste.
Overall, the service was great, and the lively dining environment added to the experience. ANTICO FORNO is a wonderful spot for special occasions.
