We stayed in this hotel just after it had been bought (it being formerly the Hotel Roma, I believe) in November 2024. Our room, a junior suite with a separate room, had been recently renovated. Everything was sparkly white/gray and the bathroom was spacious, by European hotel standards, and well appointed.
We did have a bit of an adventure when the shower stall semi-collapsed during use, causing the door to jam and exit impossible. It took a bit of pushing and pulling to extricate oneself, but as no one was hurt in the process there was no harm done. The hotel's first concern upon reporting the issue was whether or not we were safe and unhurt so kudos to them for that.
One thing of note that needs addressing by the hotel is the fact that the coffee cups are not large enough to accommodate the large cup of coffee offered as an option by the coffee machine, so coffee went everywhere on the first morning.
Has anyone from the hotel stayed in the hotel overnight to experience first hand potential pitfalls and offer notes of improvement? This is always a good policy.
The location was excellent; plenty of restaurants & shopping nearby so plenty of opportunity for exploring. Overall I would recommend this hotel.
