"When the sun sets, Lima’s streets start to fill with the spicy aroma of grilled beef heart skewers called anticuchos. This Afro-Peruvian specialty is perhaps the definitive late-night snack of Lima, and while there are many restaurants that feature anticuchos on their menu, few of them have gone to the effort of bringing over a traditional anticucho grill from Lima like this place has. It’s located in the back of a convenience store in North Miami Beach’s Little Lima, and the anticuchos here remind me of what I’d get after a night of drinking in Barranco, Lima’s nightlife district. The heart is marinated in a heady mix of cumin, ají panca chiles, and vinegar before getting seared on a flat-top grill with narrow slits to allow the juices to drip into the fire, causing bursts of flames to char the meat just right. With a side of potatoes, Peruvian giant corn, and rocoto sauce for dipping, Anticucho & Dulcinea tastes about as close as you can get to a night out in Lima without leaving Miami. The only differences are that this place is only open during daylight hours, and there are a few tables and chairs to eat at inside instead of a Lima street corner." - Carlos C Olaechea

The one in Hollywood is in a quiet plaza and is very spacious. The music is playing at a decent volume - you can still have conversation. The food presentation is elegant and the servings are generous I think the price of the dishes is right.

So far ive tried their anticuchos( heart) lomo saltado and jalea which have all tasted great and at a great value. Id recomend this place over many of the bigger name peruvian restaurants in the area.

Service and food were very good. I enjoyed a typical Peruvian breakfast dish named Desayno Lurin. Named from a region know for its swine farms. Always served with Cafe con leche

The food was delicious, and the environment was incredible too. Unfortunately, bad service can ruin the experience and I am sure will cost you many customers if not fixed. One or two more people serving the tables would have made a huge difference at a busy time. But getting a bit of training when dealing with public would also be beneficial. Getting someone to the table was a challenging task, and waiters would pass by and wouldn't pick dirty dishes off the table. I would like to add that even when short of staff, whenever possible, paying more attention at the tables would have made a difference. FYI. I am a former waiter.

The food here is amazing. This is my 2nd visit and I can’t get enough. I had Ceviche Caretillero. And Anticuchos. The chicha taste home made. Which is super!! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

Went with my family on Sunday to try the lurin breakfast and were very happy as to how tasty the tamal was, along with the sweet potato and onions, the warm French bread and the chicharron was moist not hard. The cafe con Leche was just right. We will definitely come back. Loved the decoration, very original

The best ceviche I've ever had. Everything was great, the food, service, music. I will return for sure.
