"Manuel Bouchard’s cuisine impressed our inspectors thanks to striking features such as his minimalist approach and the use of just a few well-chosen ingredients. Traditional recipes, such as plin pasta and Fassona beef, feature on the menu alongside more alternative, imaginative dishes (including fresh- and saltwater fish). This elegant restaurant is located on the first floor of a building in the old town, just a stone’s throw from the medieval tower. A warm welcome and an excellent wine list complete the picture." - Michelin Inspector

This was by far the best restaurant we visited during our stay in Barbaresco (we tried almost every place in town). The service is efficient, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable about both food and wine, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The dishes are outstanding: the Tajarin was truly exceptional, and the desserts were absolutely amazing. Exactly what you would expect from refined Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is wonderful as well: lively and welcoming, yet still intimate at the same time. If we had discovered this restaurant earlier in our trip, we would have happily gone back for a second visit.

Langhe has many options of good restaurants. Outstanding restaurants, however, there are not as many. Antine' is one of those few outstanding places that combines excellent food, excellent service, an an excellent atmosphere. The experience today was fantastic. From the agile last-minute reservation over the phone, the meticulous food and wine service, to the opportunity to meet Manuel Bouchard after lunch, this is a place I would certainly recommend to whoever is looking for a "master degree" in Piemontese culinary.

Amazing lunch. We did the 6 course tasting menus and had the server recommended wines, 1 white and 1 red. Service, food, and wine were all impeccable! Very great price for a wonderful meal.

Superb if understated gem of a restaurant. We were happily surprised by the excellent food and attentive service. Cut above the traditional reguonal italian fare. Highly recommend.

Good place to go if you want a food experience out of the ordinary in Piemonte! Don't be in a rush as the food should be enjoyed over long time. Service is good, but a little bit slow to get started. Food is a definite five star. Ambiance is different from a hearty Italian restaurant, and together with slightly expensive food results in a 4 star rating.

It’s was an incredibly quiet Friday lunch serving so we had the place to ourselves. The front door is not designed to attract the passing tourist traffic who were eating expensive toasted sandwiches down in the courtyard. The menu was nicely balanced with enough choice and with a local flavour. The food was beautifully presented and allowed the natural flavours to shine. Delicate and balanced. A quick lunch became 3 hours of great food and wine memories. Service was professional but friendly and very patient with our poor Italian. Would highly recommend !

Yelp
I write very few reviews, but Antine deserves to be noticed. Our second visit in three years provided remarkable consistency at an extremely high level. If you have the opportunity to visit Barbaresco, Alba or the surrounding area, make a point to visit Antine- you will be thinking of your return visit for the next three years!
