"Antique Garage feels kind of like a caricature of a Soho restaurant. It’s on a cobblestone street that’s often full of people posing for semi-professional-looking photo shoots, which makes the sidewalk seating here ideal for people-watching. But the indoor space is just as entertaining. It usually has a mix of tourists and people dressed according to trends you hadn't become aware of yet. As for the Mediterranean food, we like the small plates and mezze—like charred eggplant salad and phyllo filled with different cheeses—more than the entrees. Come here for brunch (they often have live music) or for drinks and a light bite after work." - Team Infatuation

Fun little spots in the heart of Soho. They can get quite busy so make sure you book a reservations. Slightly overpriced for what you get (story of New York 😅). The service was friendly but they missed multiple requests that we had in regards to how we want our drinks and how we want our eggs, so not very attentive.

This place is a hidden gem. The food and service is outstanding. From host to servers, all the staff were absolutely lovely, professional and helpful. The lovely Turkish bartender lady made us amazing cocktails. Exceptional drinks, apps, dinners and desserts. I went there with my non-Turkish friends and I didn’t know the restaurant is owned by a Turkish chef until we arrived to the restaurant. So it was a proud moment for me to find out this great Mediterranean restaurant has Turkish touches. We will come back! Highly recommended. We ordered: mixed meze platters (hummus, tzatziki, circassian chicken tarama, muhammara, fava spread and assorted boreks), MANTI(steam minced beef dumplings topped with yogurt and tomato sauce), Sultan’s Delight (mix grilled Adana, lamb chop, lamb shish and chicken kebabs), Kalamari, grilled octopus, Ceviche, Bar steak and mixed desserts. Favorite: grilled octopus ( melting in my mouth) Least favorite: - Ambience: 5 (romantic, restaurant) Price: 4 (reasonable for the food quality) Quality of food: 5 (fresh and tasty) Service: 5 Overall: 5

Very beautiful interior. Food and drinks taste great despite rather small portions of food. The mango mezcalita drink is super refreshing and highly recommended.

The service is fantastic. All waiters are very friendly and attentive; your happiness is their priority, that’s for sure.I like the ambiance of the place; it was cozy and well decorated. How about food? OMG, it was de-li-cious! We couldn’t stop eating and drinking.

Ok for the neighborhood, but overpriced overall with respect to manhattan. The restaurant as it's name suggest is a converted carriage garage. The wait staff was somewhat attentive and the dished delicious.

A beautiful place with excellent service and delicious food. A little hidden gem in Soho! Also the music is perfect and the collectors items on the walls are clearly done with passion and a real eye for art. I recommend this place! PS. don’t miss out on the tzaziki with warm soft bread! Yum!

This is a unique experience. My wife and I are both Turkish and we both missed the Turkish Cuisine and dining culture. We had meze platter(hummus, tzatziki, Circassian chicken, muhammara, tarama). Circassian chicken is just shredded chicken with a sauce on top but rest of the mezes were fine. We had shepherds salad 🥗 and it was great. After that we had Beyti Kebab and it was delicious and the star of the night ⭐️. For the dessert we had pistachio baklava and it was not the best. Interior design makes you feel like you’re really into something Antique and our waiter Sezgin was an amazing guy and so helpful. 10/10 recommended but it’s a little pricey 💵

This was our second time here and we enjoyed it both times. The food was delicious and had a true Mediterranean vibe.

Yelp
Group dinner with Kara and friends. Waiter was spicy, just like the Spicy Beyti: lamb wrapped in pita and topped with yogurt and tomato sauce. Did not appreciate waiter ordering appetizers for table without consent.

Yelp
Looks very nice and cozy inside with high ceilings. The tables felt really close together (especially around the booth seating) so it felt a little cramped. Since the tables are on the smaller side, the food didn't all fit at once. Everything was pretty good (calamari, chicken Adana, meze trio) but a little on the pricier side. The menu at the restaurant didn't match the website (missing items, prices didn't match). So just be aware!

Yelp
Antique Garage doesn't give you a clue of the Greek Turkish journey you're about to take. A warm but vintage vibe makes the small but cozy dining room somewhere you want to be. Our group of 5 enjoyed some super apps including the fantastic Taramasolata which oozes umami and some fresh bakes pide. Our group loved the variety of Greek classics especially the lamb and the delicious mussels. Really no bad dish in the varied lineup. Service was timely and unintrusive. Definitely a strong recommendation if you're seeking a great dinner spot. The room was very busy on a Tuesday. Gotta love this NoLita spot!

Yelp
Highly recommend making reservations in advance as it gets very busy. Love the decor and I can tell it's a family run business. Even with reservations on a Saturday night, we had a short wait, but were able to sit at a bar and enjoy a cocktail. We were seated shortly and ordered the Manti to share, Lamburger and Organic Grilled Chicken. Both were delicious. I could not finish the entire chicken dish, but loved that it came with fresh vegetables, tzatziki. I love that the garage doors were open and we sat between the main indoor dining room and outdoor seating. It was a perfect spot!

Yelp
After spending a Friday evening shopping around Soho whats better than mediterranean to tape the night. my friend and i saw this spot was close to suit supply so we figured lets try it we didnt have a reservation but they were still able to seat us outside. we were served and helped immediately, however, it started raining and no one was helping us but all the other outside tables were helped immediately. after we made aggressive eye contact with one of the staff he just said "you guys are good?" like sir ..... its raining, why do i have to spell it out for you to move us inside like literally everyone else. this left such a bad taste in my mouth. in terms of food we ordered a ton of small plates, let me break it down: - trio hummus: the flava bean was the best, the hummus was so bland we added lemon to it. and the tzatziki tasted pretty average. it was supposed to come with vegetables and bread but the vegetables were like 1 cut carrot, 1 cut celery, 1 cut bell pepper (as pictured) - so cheap - the calamari was good - a staple and classic - we ordered fried hallomi but came wrapped in a grape leaf - it was still very delicious but we wanted it fried so menu is misleading - french fries: loved how these were thick - watermelon salad: very zesty and juicy - loved the watermelon was in circles it was cute. a good order - eggplant spring rolls: was expecting a fried spring roll but this instead was served and was delicious actually - had some sort of cheese inside and dill all over. very healthy and good! overall food was average at best and service was not great either. would not recommend or come back

Yelp
My family and I made a last-minute reservation here last Friday for dinner and enjoyed our visit! We accidentally made the reservation at their Tribeca location, but they were kind enough to accommodate us at the Soho location. We started with the dip trio and chose tzatziki, hummus, and the fava dip. The fava dip was lacking in flavor, but the other two were great! We also started with the octopus, which was so delicious and fresh. For dinner, the 4 of us shared the large lamb meat platter. It was so incredibly flavorful and juicy. Definitely recommend splitting this if you're coming with a group! Ended with the chocolate mousse dessert and the baklava.

Yelp
Let's start with the positives, shall we: -The Space: I chose this restaurant for dinner because it looked like such a cool space to eat and it absolutely was. We loved the old timey feel with lots of antiques everywhere, candle light, etc. No edits here. -Service: All of our waiters were great, super helpful, kind, courteous, very pleasant to interact with. -The bread: Loved the bread. It was warm and plentiful. I was surprised it wasn't pita, but it was good. -The profiteroles - yummy and covered in chocolate. Who wouldn't like these? Negatives: -The Food: The food was just ok. I'm fine paying higher NYC prices for a good meal, but the food was pretty underwhelming. My mother got the muscles and had grit in every other bite - there were a lot though. The portions for the Meze Trio Platter were very small and none of them excited us. I've had better tzatziki and hummus... pretty much anywhere else. I did like the flavor of the Manti (dumplings), but the meat was a little dry. All-in-all, it ended up being a very expensive meal and we didn't leave impressed. Everything was just fine at best. -Bathroom: There is one stall and it's awkwardly placed in the kitchen area, so if someone is in there you have to stand by tables, which was a little uncomfortable. Not a major complaint though since this is New York City and space is limited.

Yelp
LOVE this place. Not sure why the reviews are so low. The food is amazing and the service is great. Agreed prices are high but they are everywhere in this area. Love the decor and the place is very clean overall a great vibe. Servers are attentive and we're happy to bring over extra bread/whatever we needed.

Yelp
We really really wanted to like this restaurant, but it just did not do it for us. We grabbed a reservation the day before, which was a bit of a rarity for this poppin' SoHo spot. The decor really made it stand out when we were searching for Mediterranean cuisine, and from the positive reviews, we figured we'd give it a shot, despite the hefty price tag. We were seated promptly and service was good, though the one single bathroom for both the indoor and outdoor seating created issues. We went with the Mezze plate starter, the Branzino, and the Grass-Fed Lamb Chops. The food came out within a reasonable time frame, and we were given as much bread as we needed for our mezzes -- which were hit and miss. The best one was the mint yogurt, but the saddest part was that the hummus was a) not creamy b) did not have a pool of olive oil, as it is normally served, and c) did not have the proper flavour (even worse than generic supermarket brands like Tribe and Sabra). This left a really bad taste in my mouth, but I was excited to have my lamb chops. The branzino was perfect, according to my friend, and the bite that I had made me wanting more. However, that more did not come in the form of my lamb chops. My rule is that whenever lamb is on the menu. I get it. Although it was cooked perfectly at medium-rare, the lamb chops, though grass-fed, had absolutely no flavour in their own meat. Don't get me wrong, the apricot sauce was delicious and the searing on the chop was amazing, but the meat itself lacked any gaminess that you expect. It could have been literally any other animal, and you would be none the wiser. Overall, it was a fine dining experience, but it really could have been much much better, especially at this price point.

Yelp
Very Very Flavorful!! We loved everything we got! The only thing is it wasn't warm. Everything was room temperature! We wanted hot food so that wasn't the best! If they get the food hot, it will be a game changer. Flavors melded perfect together.

Yelp
Short review: Notably awful carpaccio, decent main dish. Alright dessert. Very overpriced. Very pretty. I would first off describe the spot as overpriced and very pretty but it's in Soho so I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting but even more so leaning in both directions. A good example is their sour cherry juice which is $10 which is probably the most egregiously overpriced drink in the city. It was most likely Tamek, a brand you can buy for literally 2-3$ in any market and that's the consumer price (at least they added a lime.) Anyway I was here with five others. The service was mostly polite though they took ages to bring out their rather good bread and they didn't bring out a refill until it was asked twice which is a great idea when a few people wanted to try their spreads. I started off with the Leverek Carpaccio which consisted of "Sashimi grade Mediterranean sliced branzino with lemon" which was 24$. The dish was tiny and the flavors of the fish were either surprisingly fishy for branzino or overly lemon flavored. Just not good and completely not worth it for the price. I tried the tarama/ the Turkish version of taramosalata/caviar spread which was fine but overpriced (14$) and another person got another one of their dips which was similar. My main dish was better but it was hard to do worse. I ordered the Spicy Beyti which consisted of "Chopped grilled lamb on a skewer, wrapped in pita, topped with yogurt and tomato sauce" which was 34$. The lamb inside was tasty but a bit chewy but there was a good amount of it. There were faults with the dish outside of the lamb though. I of course was not expecting the price to match the size from most other places but the pita was not that good being a bit hard oddly. They were also kind of skimpy on the sauces. I prefer a stronger spicier tomato sauce but it was mostly yogurt. Overall passable (especially so compared to the appetizer.) Another person got the durum kebab sandwich which they liked. I tried one of the fries which was good. Someone got the seafood pasta (which they also liked,) and I believe the last two people got the burger and the steak. Oddly they have "Sultan's Delight" on the menu which usually refers to one of my favorite Turkish dishes (Hunkar Begendi) but in this case it's a mixed grill which I don't get either but it definitely that goes along with the confused Turkish hybrid menu. For dessert, I ordered the Apricots which is a traditional Turkish dessert consisting of "Organic dried Turkish apricots in thick syrup, stuffed with clotted cream (or kaymak) and almond" which was 12$. It came with five in an order along with some raspberries which was a nice touch. I have referred them from other places as there really wasn't enough cream and usually they have hazelnuts instead of almonds but they were still decent and this was the one dish that I didn't find particularly overpriced. Another person got the profiteroles which were fine. The food here is a good representation of what I find to be wrong with a good amount of spots in Soho. It is overpriced even compared to its peers which both have better food and better service. As someone who absolutely loves Turkish food and Mediterranean food in general, this was a disappointment. At least the chandelier above our heads was pretty. Carpaccio: 0 stars Beyti: 2 stars Dessert: 3 stars 5/15 or 1.7 stars.

Chalita P.

Yelp
Overpriced for average food. The portions were on the smaller side especially for the pastas. Definitely not good value for the money. You are really paying for the atmosphere. The decor and ambiance are wonderful. It has a very European vibe. We ordered a variety of dishes and while some taste better than others most were average, and all were fairly expensive. For appetizers we ordered the Meze Platter and this was a disappointment. It's pretty much bread, not even pitas, with a variety of dipping sauce (hummus, tzatziki, etc). For $34, I wish I could have some meat and pita instead of bread to dip it in. If you come hungry (skipping meals before), you'll leave hungry if you have just one entree. I personally wouldn't go back as there's a lot of other options to choose from.

Yelp
Delicious Turkish-themed food at this SOHO spot. It's a square dining room with about 15 tables. Bar at the back. Cool chandelier in the center, eclectic decorations on exposed brick walls. About 15 tables outside, on the sidewalk and a street-top covered platform. Sonia did a great job serving. She's friendly, accurate and efficient and was a pleasure to meet. Thank you! Tried a bloody Mary to start. It is well mixed, spicy and slightly sweet, garnished with a skewer of spicy olives. Next, the COP shish kebab. This is slender chunks of lamb tenderloin, generously spiced, skewered and grilled. The meat is tender, moist and very flavorful. Perfect for dipping in the creamy, tangy, garlicky tzaziki. It's served with onion salad - thin slices of red onion, marinated in vinegar and spices. Plus a few slices of grilled pita and luscious grilled tomato to garnish. Yum! Also tried the DURUM kebab sandwich. This is chunks of pressed chopped lamb wrapped in pita with a light tomato-based sauce and sauteed peppers. The meat is billed as spicy, but is more flavorful than spicy, tender andlean. Onion salad is on the side, with fries. Delicious! This place is pricy, the meal with one adult beverage topped out at $90. It's a cool place that embodies the SOHO vibe. Worth a try.

Yelp
Shocked to see the reviews aren't higher! We had the best time. The vibe was cozy and we got a bunch of things to share and were happy with it all robust wine list and we LOVED the wine special!!

Yelp
First off, I'd like to point out NY law that states you cannot refuse cash as a form of payment, and if I call 311 this place would face (for a first complaint) a $1,000 fine; I'd consider it. It's funny how the people that a business decides to hire tends to make or break a restaurant which let's face it, already has a menu that will make you leave feeling ripped off beyond belief and leave you asking yourself why you stayed sitting there for two hours when the meal could have been 40 minutes and 40% cheaper. That being said, we enjoyed the food; the bartender or drink service or whatever you'd like to attribute inconsistency in pour quality to, could have used improvement. The server should be immediately removed and banned from the service industry and did not deserve the 20% I left, even amidst this pandemic. He was slow, unhelpful, forgetful, and blazè af. I knew immediately he'd be bad but he was down-rite terrible. The hummus came out with four small strips of fried pita that even drowning the entire things in hummus there'd be enough overpriced hummus for 20 more "chips" if you will. (Not that there was a lot of hummus, that's just the pathetic amount of dippables there were and when asking for more we were offered regular pita, which was grilled and fresh and tasty) The waiter wouldn't even ask if the lamb sandwich could be subbed for the chicken that's on the menu and just insisted he can't, so we got two of those despite my gf not loving lamb... but she did quite enjoy it as did I; the fries were thin and tasty and the place was sort of cool. All in all if it wasn't for the service and astronomical prices I'd give them four stars minimum, even with the prices I may consider the four stars, but the punk who was assigned our table, he makes it one star. The only reason they get a second star here on Yelp is because it was good and I already feel bad for their shitty hiring practices that I can't give them a third star. Overpriced, under-serviced; Took no less than 20 minutes per drink order (2drinks), 25 minutes for the hummus, 20 minutes for the bill. You do the math.

Brooke K.

Yelp
Delicious food and super cute atmosphere! This is the first inside dining experience I've had since covid but the restaurant is completely open so it doesn't feel like your inside. The food was delicious! We ordered grilled octopus, hummus, and lamb skewer and they were all fantastic. I Will def be coming back again in the near future.

Lara G.

Yelp
This is a great little date spot. The decor is unique and feels cozy and elegant. It is a bit pricey though and the food was generally ok. I would go back more for the ambiance, a drink and just a light snack. Not full on dinner.

Tahini R.

Yelp
My friends and I decided to not complete our reservation at Galli next door due to their poor management and rude attitude. This was actually my second time here. The first time I came here was maybe 5/6 years ago. I can't recall how my experience was then, but I believe it was equally as good. The night we decided to go here, it was extremely windy, cold and rainy out, so we were so glad when we realized that Antique Garage had a heated dining option available for us without any reservations. The host and waiters at Antique garage welcomed us with smiles and made our experience enjoyable. We ordered the boreki for appetizer and we ordered the durum kebab and lamb burgers for our entrees. Everything was delicious. The meat was super juicy and probably one of the best kebabs I've had in a very long time. Our server was also friendly and attentive and the ambience was really great as well. We would have preferred to sit indoors on a cold night but, the inside seemed to be fully reserved. Regardless, our experience was great. Surprisingly this place has quite a few mixed reviews about service and pricing. The service we had was great, but maybe we caught them on a good night. The food is definitely on the pricey side, but that's expected and normal for Manhattan and especially during these COVID times.

Ariana L.

Yelp
For just getting a drink and apps this bill was FAT. the service was alright, since we were sat outside definitely had to wait a little bit to get anyones attention. But i will say - i would come back for the grilled octopus and tzatziki. It was so perfectly fresh and amazing. May come back to try the entrees - it does have a great date night atmosphere.

Ally K.

Yelp
My brother and best friend joined me for dinner at Antique Garage. Our waiter was high energy and helped recommend some delicious dishes. We started with the trio dips, shared a salad and had the mussel frites, branzino and lamb burger. The cherry on top was we loved the olives and olive oil so much we returned the next day to see if we might be able to purchase some to go. The owner was incredible kind and gave us warm bread and more to go - above and beyond!!!!! You can tell this restaurant prides themselves on their food and wants to share that gift with everyone who dines.

Saleem M.

Yelp
Disappointing restaurant, well past its prime. Indoors was way too loud with multiple 12+ person tables congregating. Hostess didn't help us sit outside but then helped another couple who just walked up and sat them at a table outside (which turned out to then be the last). Waiter at our table acted like we were intruding by asking him a question about the menu. Food and drink is shockingly overpriced. Saving grace: the lamb shish kebab is really great.

Josh G.

Yelp
The name Antique Garage sounds more like a vintage store or a pawn shop. Surprisingly, it's neither! What you'll get at this elderly-named location is some Mediterranean cuisine worthy of a return trip, even if the name sets in quickly when it comes to pricing (more on that later). For now, just know a double date ensued here a few weeks back with tasty results. For starters (and just to place the name slightly better), the interior of Antique Garage rocks the old school style and vibe of something classical with paintings, chandeliers, and silverware that doesn't quite match. It's all done as a way of setting things up as per the name. Live music from an old piano added to the ambiance. Plus the front windows looked like one of those garage-type doors that will slide open in the warmer weather (another reason for the name!). Enough names, let's eat. AG's menu had plenty of intriguing items, albeit the fact that we're in Manhattan and the more specific location (SoHo) didn't help with pricing. But hey, it was a night out so why not spend a little extra? We totally did as appetizers included a solid humus with garlicky pita sticks poking out from the dip and borek which were little phyllo dough rolls stuffed with feta cheese. I can't forget to mention the crispy/fluffy bread on the table. For main dishes, I went with the grilled lamb meatballs. They were more ovular in shape, but who cares about the ball circumference (take it easy on the jokes now!). It was more about the taste and these were definitely decent. So were the crispy fries on the side. A thick tzatziki sauce rounded out the plate. The real winner was my girlfriend's dish, adana kebab, which had wonderful seasoning that gave the lamb great flavor. Mild jealously set in as I liked hers more than mine! We finished off the meal with some profiteroles (which curbed our sweet tooth) and called it a night. Overall, Antique Garage did the trick in delivering a quality Mediterranean meal, even if we spent quite a bit of the ol' "dolla dolla bills." I'll throw in one line about service as it was good, but nothing that blew any of us away. Take everything into account and I'd say we're looking at 3.5, but we all walked away happy so I'll knock it up to 4 (cause that's the kind of Yelper I am). So if you find yourself looking for some Greek-ish grub, don't pass by Antique Garage. Just know some vintage stuff isn't always cheap.

Araya M.

Yelp
I went there couple weeks ago. The jalapeño margarita was still on point . They were busy but I think they are training new staffs. So the service was ok. I missed those Latino server who been working since last summer. They know what they are doing . The food was just ok we have seared yellowfin tuna , it was just ok. I hope it will be better next time visit. Cause we love it there so much .

Carina Y.

Yelp
Very bad experience! Worst customer service from front desk. Whoever is the management you need to reconsider the dark long hair lady. I don't know what it is. My friend and I went in first without reservation. And the front desk told us we can't get a table, no maybe wait a little bit or a waiting time, nothing. So we understand that because we don't have a reservation. But then I was just trying to find something close by to eat on OpenTable; and this place came up and they have the availability!! For less than 5 mins! So we went in again, and there were a table for 2 clearly by the window but she told us we have to sit outside. We agreed. Waited 5 min and she never came out to lead us to the table or menu or anything?! I saw my reservation is canceled somehow? And I saw a white lady came in and got the table for 2 by the window. I hope it is not discriminatory but it felt like so! I don't recommend this place to anyone! And would never go there personally. I wish I can give it a 0 star!

Krissten L.

Yelp
My husband and I wanted to grab a few drinks and pick at some apps. The hostess were friendly and asked for vax cards when we arrived. We asked to sit at the bar and the bartender immediately seemed annoyed and was rude. We ordered a drinks, they were great- but quickly left after the first round because the bartender was unpleasant to be around.

Lily R.

Yelp
For the price, this restaurant is just not good. It is average, at best, the food leaves so much to long for. Ive had far better food from a stand on the street. If the prices weren't as high I would not judge it so poorly, but genuinely this might be one of the worst Mediterranean restaurants I've been to, and I've been to a lot, and it's also the most expensive. Good ambiance and drinks though.

Maram A.

Yelp
Yhe food was good. It's a western take on Turkish food. The appetizers is what we stuck too and they were all tasty. The fried borek was too salty for my taste but I really enjoyed the taziki and the favas bean dip.

Aishwarya S.

Yelp
I've walked this place several times and always noticed a huge crowd inside and always wanted to go here but didn't. Infact during my birthday we went to another restaurant closeby and had the most awful experience. I so wish we went here because the food here is so soooo soooooooo good. I went here on a Sunday for brunch. We were a huge group but the waitress was so nice and attentive. She was really nice, she even took pics of us more than once when we asked!!! I ordered the pomegranate margarita which tasted more of booze than fruity or sweetness and I loved that! They were generous with the portions. My main course came in late compared to everyone else in my table but it was worth the wait. I ordered the Spicy Beyti which was suggested by the waitress after I asked her. And she was right, it was SPECTACULAR. I dont eat lamb because I dont like the taste but I enjoyed this so much and the portion was HUGE. It could feed 3 people but I ate it all. I couldn't move afterwards but my god it was so delicious. When I lose my appetite I look at the picture of the dish, Spicy Beyti I took here and my mouth waters immediately. Go here and try it.

Yelp
***GLUTEN FREE / CELIAC REVIEW*** Loved the overall atmosphere of the place and the service and food!!! Service was great, our waitress was super attentive about communicating with the kitchen & making sure everything was gluten allergy safe. My sister & I (both sensitive Celiac) ordered all the spreads (chicken one was not gluten-free safe, all 5 others were & they served with gf bread); lamb kebab ; lamb sandwich with fries; and the midnight chocolate desert. It was so nice that they had gf bread (no cross contact), a separate frier for fries, and dessert options, and everything tasted delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also A++. Would come back again for dining in NYC!!!

Yelp
Antique Garage on Mercer is a wonderful restaurant and bar! First off, thank you AG for accommodating a large group of us on a Friday night at the last minute. Everyone from the hostess to the manager on duty were so nice about it, we almost couldn't believe it as it was a very busy night. You went out of your way and we (all 7 of us) are very thankful. This place is very cool. Excellent live music in a very chic environment. The food, wine and cocktails are great here along with their five star service. Everything was simply outstanding and each one of us there that night will come back.

Chelsea E.

Yelp
Great brunch here with my family over the weekend. Love the vibe and the food. Food came out a touch slowly for what we wanted but everything was absolutely delicious and the service was very pleasant. Highly recommend sharing the mixed mezze and traditional breakfast. The breads were amazing as well. Always a great meal when I come here!

Hannah J.

Yelp
Antique Garage was a real treat after a long day shopping in SoHo. The outdoor seating is lovely with large plants that really add to the atmosphere. They even have Jazz nights if you enjoy live music. The food was incredible. The cucumber cosmo is light and refreshing and the tzatziki was some of the best that I have ever had. If you are looking for a soothing refuge take a break from the main shopping street and stop here you won't regret it.

Rachel K.

Yelp
Came here for lunch and after quickly browsing some reviews, I knew the mixed meze platter would be the perfect sharing plate. The cheese and meat pastries were delicious that came with the dips. My favorite dips were the tzatziki and babaganush. I also shared the octopus salad. The salad was good but the grilled octopus was a bit over cooked so it was very chewy. Service was great and the ambiance was lovely

Yelp
Very average... minus the dessert. The dessert gets 5 stars. I came here for a birthday dinner - we shared the mezze and I had the ceviche. The mezze was okay - not as good as in most Mediterranean spots but okay. The ceviche was awful - tasteless and the fish felt a bit strange. Not recommended. The puff pastry and the hazelnut cake were amazing though! The baklava had too much dough. The dessert definitely brought this up to three stars. Overall, this isn't a place I would visit again.

Yelp
Pros: charming shabby chic interior and lighting. Cons: the food quality is good but very small portions and too expensive for what it is. An entree salad the size of a tiny appetizer. Terribly loud environment. We had to literally scream to be heard by each of us at our table. No reason to ever go back.

Yelp
A strange name for a restaurant on a small street full of construction, it's sort of hidden. But it actually is in a garage -- pull down door and all. You can sit outside or inside. It's intimate candlelit and was packed. So reservations are highly suggested. Our friends found this place for us as we were looking for a Turkish restaurant. This is more Mediterranean than Turkish. Unfortunately they don't do mint chai (tea) or have our favorite dessert, kunefe. And the waitress was from South America so wasn't familiar with some items we asked about. We started with a mixed combo meze appetizer plate for the table to share. It had some familiar items like hummus and babbaghanous et al but also favs bean purée, a chicken salad, a red pepper purée with walnuts, and fried pita sticks. Fun to start with while deciding what to have for a main. We shared their Adana kebab which was large in size. Not spicy but came with side of onions. Served on top of a very flat pita wrap bread. Our friends had two seafood dishes one served over eggplant purée and once served over a tomato base. For dessert they shared a baklava -- our taste said it was just okay... not exciting. Service was good. In some cases too good -- hate hovering servers ready to whisk away plates when others at the table aren't finished. But it was an intimate romantic place and there was also a piano player providing nice background music. So it would probably be a good date place.

Yelp
After a day of trekking around the Museum we met our dear friends at their place near Washington Square and caught the #55 in front of Otto's to travel into Soho for a Turkish dinner. Smooth travel until we got stopped in cross traffic grid lick as they were feeding into the tunnel. Being only 3 blocks away, we got off the bus and walked the rest of the way, weaving through cars, taxis, Ubers, and trucks. Upon arrival (on time), we were seated comfortably and handed menus. A short moment later, we ordered our beverages and I ordered a Little Comfort martini with Burnett's, St Germain, rosemary and an orange wheel slice. It was refreshing and delicious. We ordered a Sampler Mezza for the table and with the warm crusty bread we enjoyed each. My wife and I shared the Adonna Kebab, my standard go to, and it was quite large, delicious and satisfying. A great meal with Great friends!

Yelp
Wonderful Mediterranean spot in the west village. An eclectic interior with a number of antiques on the walls and very nice servers. The food is delicious and left us full. Great for a date night, not super vibrant or loud.

Yelp
The service is fantastic. All waiters are very friendly and attentive; your happiness is their priority, that's for sure.I like the ambiance of the place; it was cozy and well decorated. How about food? OMG, it was de-li-cious! We couldn't stop eating and drinking

Yelp
Packed with people, knick knacks, and overall a crowded, boisterous atmosphere. A good place to come with friends or a biggish group for a fun night. The food is fine, but nothing overly special. We ordered the Mixed Meze Platter with humus, eggplant salad, circassian chicken, muhammara, borek, tzatziki and fava. It was fun to try a variety - but all were pretty standard. We split the main course of Grilled Branzini, which was accompanied by grilled vegetables. If you're looking for a fun atmosphere, a nice place; but for good Mediterranean/Turkish food, you might need to look elsewhere.

Yelp
As pricey as a Michelin star restaurant, but the taste and the quality is good. Their Turkish breakfast is recommended.

Yelp
Omg! Fast service, potent cocktails, scrumptious food, a Soho vibe!! All of that curated by Hassan , our very naughty waiter!! Lovely evening!

Yelp
Came here for my friends birthday dinner and it was a great spot for that. They have very cute decor that are great for pics lol pro tip I ended up getting the lamb kebab which was literally a long stick of lamb with some veggies and a bread/pita like side, but it was surprisingly very filling! The sauce that it came with paired well. The combo of that made it a great deconstructed Mediterranean sandwich.

Yelp
After some shopping in the area, we stopped by this cute place ,specially its concept. Its a fun place with amazing food(so filling and flavorful). This place is very popular so I guess reservation is a must on weekend. Does it really worth it ? Absolutely!!! Service was excellent throughout the rest of the evening ,helpful and professional!! We started off with a glass of wine and our server right away gave us some food pairing recommendations with wine and it worked very well. Overall ,highly recommend it.

Yelp
4 stars for decor and vibe. 2-3 stars for food. The location couldn't be more trendy or hip. Literally a model shoot spontaneously appeared just outside during our lunch. It wasn't until you looked up to the massive garage door-like structure that rolls up to make the entire front dining al fresco do you realize the source of its name. Inside is an eclectic collection of paintings, wall art, mirrors, and signs. It's fancy Mediterranean food meets antediluvian decor. Unfortunately as charming as it was inside, it couldn't save them from food that really didn't stand out. The complimentary bread reminded me of the bread from Cosi, but not quite as good due to its lack of density. The dip sampler was okay. My main course, the hanger steak, was redeemed only by the accompanying shoestring fries. The steak itself was just meh. Come here to impress someone, but not if you're hungry or picky.

Yelp
Beautiful food, excellent service, authentique Turkish cuisine with a downtown flair that only New York could give. I always bring my friends from out of town to show them what this city can offer. It's a must. I highly recommend the octopus salad and the Adana kebab. Finish with a fragrant Turkish coffee and sweet baklava. Delish.

Yelp
If I could give 0 starts I would. Yesterday I had dinner with my friends from foreign country traveling in New York City at this place. We had food which they did not enjoy at all. The seafood pasta was the worst. The sauce was so watery that it felt like noodle soup. Adana Kebab was only a meat, without a salad or rice. Which was strange because it usually comes with side rice or salad. And it also costs around $30. Our bill was $700, as soon as I paid we decided to stay because our boys were planning to join us. So we said we will stay and will order more drinks. The worst part of this story is the waitress. Which was a Chinese lady. She kept coming to us maybe 4-5 times asking for tips. When we were still enjoying our night and already told her that we will leave a tip when we will pay for the bill at the end and leave. She kept asking us to close the bill and we felt pressure from her that we MUST tip her, which made us soooooo uncomfortable. Of course we planned to tip her, but as we know we usually leave a tip when we are done and planning to leave. At the end we paid $700 for our nightmare and the service was sooooooo bad. I would rather spend $700 at a luxury restaurant where they try to make costumers happy, with professional, friendly and nice waitresses. I don't recommend at all It was the first time I met such a cheap and disgusting people working there in my life

Yelp
The chicest Mediterranean restaurant! We shared a couple of mezes, including the calamari, the octopus, the watermelon salad, and the mixed meze platter, and everything was delicious.

Yelp
Good food. Watermelon salad was great. Nice tang to the dressing. I also ordered the combo app platter. Also very good.
