Great staff. They have a shop dog who's super sweet. The place is huge extremely clean and doesn't have that typical antique store smell. Which is surprising. The building structure itself is beautifully set up inside 3.5 floors everything from furniture to oddities, toys, video games/comics, and hand made art pieces. Had a great day there spent about 3 hours.

Larry Morgan

Google
Great place! For vintage collectibles and a few other things that you might remember from the past! With 4 floors of merchandise you will possibly find what you are looking for.

amy allen

Google
This place is huge. We explored one floor. It has an amazing selection. The prices are very reasonable and the employees are fantastic. I got 2 items. They were wrapped up nicely and waiting for me at checkout. Definitely recommend, even if you don't buy anything. The interesting stuff is worth a trip.

Icon Gate Entertainment

Google
Definitely worth the trip! Antiques Marketplace is huge and filled completely with items to choose from. Staff is super friendly!! 4 different floors of stuff to look through. Most items are moderately priced so it's not a pretentious place where everything is so expensive. A fun place to spend a couple of hours for sure.

Google
I absolutely adore this place. I have been here many times and have seen and even bought many interesting vintage treasures. I have found things like a vintage poster featuring a photo of a little girl with a grandfather clock who looked eerily like my late grandmother, a couple of hasbro Battle Trolls from the 90s a miniature Halloween carousel and a 1990s McFarlane Toys Little Miss Muffet and that’s just stuff I bought. I have legit come here, seen something cool, went home, thought about it for a bit and then went out of my way, miles from home, DRIVING THROUGH MULTIPLE STATES, To come back and get it (calling ahead of course). Also the people working here are really nice, really knowledgeable and really helpful. It is like 4 floors and change of wall to wall antiques and vintage stuff, I’m likely gonna come back yet again sometime and I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Google
I admit full well that this is an online crusade... but for good reason. Welcome to Antiques Marketplace, fine dealers of *Nazi memorabilia* in Eastern Connecticut. 🤦🤦🤦 I'm aware this is just one display case, and the stuff probably belongs to a consigner (not the business itself...) But they've chosen to associate and do business with them! This isn't "history," This is evidence of war crimes committed by the most notorious enemy of the United States *and* every Jew born since the 19th Century... ever. Anyone seeking a CENT of monetary gain related the sale of this deserves an eternity of hell... what an unspeakable shame in 2025. All of this should be donated to the Holocaust Museums in NY or DC, or just destroyed. Disgusting.

Kelsey Rhodes

Google
This place was awesome, I definitely want to go back! There are three floors and lots of variety. Some things were a bit pricey but that's what you get with different vendors. There was a lot more that was very fairly priced.

Megan Fox

Google
This is such a cool place to wander around. Lots of vendor booths with endless antiques. Perfect place for a date or girls day out. We love bringing visitors here and wandering around

Yelp
I rarely come here, but my most recent visit went surprisingly well. The reason why I don't often come here is because the employees will watch you, follow you, and ask to take your items to the desk especially if you are young and don't dress like you're middle aged. It's similar to how people are beginning to shop online instead of in stores; we live in a surveillance state where everyone is guilty until proven innocent. You can find affordable items here, but good luck! Oh- not to mention that they STILL have NAZI memorabilia as well as RACIST caricatures in doll form. They clearly don't care about who enters their store; they care about money.

Jacob B.

Yelp
A very impressive selection of books + really cool, decent selection of lamps, China and more. I really didn't find too much interesting that I seemed to care most based on my tastes compared to next door Jeremiah's Antiques.

Wil P.

Yelp
We entered in trepidation for all the reviews citing Nazi memorabilia. I was glad to find none--except for a few copies of "Mein Kampf." But old racist stereotype pieces? There are lots of them! See the photos. And why? To the owners: Please get rid of this stuff. It's not worth much. But their presence keeps customers away and perpetuates stereotypes. All white people (and owners of this shop) should read the little book "Me and White Supremacy." It will help you understand what I am talking about. Other than that, this is a large store with well-displayed items. We bought several pieces. "My Little Sambo"??!?!?!? Are you serious? And it's next to a "Mein Kampf" and a book covered in swastikas. White people (I am one of them) are so blind to how steeped in racism we are.

Yelp
Really cool spot filled with unique treasures! Antiques Marketplace has four levels and over 22,000 square feet of floor space filled with collectibles, furniture, art, toys, jewelry, vintage fashion, and more. I've been twice and just enjoy browsing around for something to catch my eye. As a consignment shop, inventory is always changing and you never know what you're going to find. Definitely a great place to stop by if you like antiques and collectibles!

Theultimate V.

Yelp
Hateful, Rude, Overpriced, NAZI items everywhere, not enjoyable, considered a thief before I walked in, and not a comfortable place to be. Oh an NAZI ITEMS. First, almost everything is behind locked glass and as someone who likes to touch things to feel them, this was a deterrent to buying anything. Second, we had ladies following us around asking if we needed help or to put anything behind the counter for them. It us, a gay couple, very uncomfortable. Third, and worst of all, they have cases and cases of Nazi memorabilia. Weapons, badges, arm bass, Jewish stars arm bands, propaganda, clothing, and pins. All of it made me sick. It was front and center in the first room. I am not Jewish, but I am not inhuman, it made me angry and sick to my stomach. I can not imagine how a Jewish person, who may have had their family killed by what those things are symbols of. This is a consignment antique store, so they have the right to say no to vendors but they didn't. I will never go back again and urge people never to return.

Megan K.

Yelp
This antique shop was HUGE and sprawling and so cool. You'll definitely need several hours to go through and look at everything. We came home with some awesome treasures and I wish this wasn't so far away from my house because I'd definitely stop by more often. There were so many copper antique molds and chocolate molds to choose from, I was in total heaven. Definitely going to try and stop by soon.

Linda P.

Yelp
Just about the worst experience in all my years as a dealer! My daughter and I (both dealers) were shopping, had people constantly following us asking us to take our items to purchase. That alone makes anyone uncomfortable. We did not have coats on or large pocketbooks, we felt like thieves the entire time we were there. My daughter overheard a conversation at the check out which was very rude. The lady told a clerk to "get their things before they go downstairs". Checkout was a fiasco! Too many hands in the pot and the other people behind the counter made the clerk waiting on us feel like she was doing something shady and they had to keep checking her. This went on to the point she did make an error on the slip, which was correct. I will never go back!!!!

Emily C.

Yelp
Sometimes it's all about presentation. Whereas Restoration 51 down the road is a total cluttered nightmare (or hoarder's dream), Antiques Marketplace features tons of individual dealers that display their antiques beautifully. It's easy to navigate the three levels full furniture, kitchen/housewares, old maps, clothing and glass cabinets brimming with vintage jewelry, coins, silver, comic books and other memorabilia. It's an interesting, pretty well curated selection and doesn't seem like you're just wading through junk most of the time. I had to tear myself away from the jewelry cases because some of the art deco designs were unbelievable!

Alex H.

Yelp
This is a well organized three story antique store with tons of beautiful antique furniture and collectible items. I have gone "antiquing" all of my life on the west coast, the southern Bible Belt, and most recently in New England...and never have I seen so many nazi flags in a store for sale as this one. I understand that they are a part of history but it is extremely discouraging and hurtful to see at least four nazi flags/memorabilia through out this antique store. Due to this, I will seek to shop at other antique stores that are more mindful of their customers.

Kathryn S.

Yelp
Antique mall with 3 floors to explore. I enjoyed walking around and was both awed and overwhelmed by the sheer volume of merchandise. I saw loads of jewelry, kitchen items, linens, war memorabilia, coins, silver and much more. I think many of the vintage items here have decreased in value over the past 10 years but this is not reflected in their pricing. However, I did find a vintage silk scarf for $6.00 and love it. Their business card says "Closed Tuesdays" so call ahead. Check out my 16 Photos.

Sonia R.

Yelp
While Donna was extremely personable and showed us many items from dozens cases of jewelry, it was a both a shock and a horrible feeling seeing nazi-memorabilia in a few of the cases on the main floor. We spent a lot of money that day, but really we should've walked out. :(( :(( :((

Elizabeth N.

Yelp
Just a great place to visit I love going antiquing it's like going to museums but you can touch the stuff. well most of it. Many great items to get through it you have to always take your time I spent about an hour. make sure you going to Jaremiah's Antique Shoppes To check out more of their antiques

Ken T.

Yelp
This used to be our favorite antiques store. We have been coming here for years. Our last visit a few days ago was such a disappointment. They no longer have then number of quality antiques as they had in the past. They are going the way of so many places that claim to have antiques. It's more fluff than stuff these days. What a shame!

Jen M.

Yelp
Love Love this place! Very organized! Vendors take time on presentation and theme and it shows. Nice range of objects with various price points. The store is on 3 levels. We spent 2 hours looking at everything and that was skipping a booth here and there. The store is broken off in different sections and what I loved about each section was that there was always a staff person in that area who was willing to show you something. I also liked how they treated us no differently even though we were buying something less expensive. No attitude, no airs. Every customer was important. That makes all difference!

Ray V.

Yelp
I'm not gonna say I don't like this place because then I would be lying. However, most of their items are overpriced and you can't bargain with the people that work there because most of these antiques are through consignment. Do give yourself some time to browse through the store, about 2 hours should suffice. There are a lot, I mean, a lot of antiques piled around in the store. I have been here 3 times now and I have yet made any purchases. Most of the time it's because I know they have marked up the price.

Courtney N.

Yelp
Recently I've become quite a fan of antiques and markets especially (think Brimfield MA flea market) so when we entered Putnam downtown and saw this awesome looking antique place we just had to stop. The place is immense with tons and tons of antiques. Toys, jewelry, housewares, old advertising - you name it and I bet you can find it here. It's interesting too to see so much I remember from childhood now an antique - makes you feel old for sure! The main floor has tons of booths. Everything is behind glass but it seemed like there were a lot of employees around to help (or monitor...). We weren't in a buying mood so we were just browsing. I think we spent almost an hour total in the building. Downstairs has more booths and everything is in the open. The weird thing is a man from upstairs followed us down and was sort of lurking around corners watching us. I caught him a few times and he ducked out of the way. Strange. I get following people down but it'd be nicer if he were more transparent and said hi, here to help, etc instead of lurking. Anyway, more fun stuff in the downstairs. The floors made me a bit nervous and they were very creaky and I wondered as it's such an old building if it could take it if more than a few were browsing in the same area but maybe that's part of the charm of an antique building housing tons of antiques. Prices were high for a lot of the items. I don't think it would be the same as a flea market with the ability to haggle down. I almost bought some old (surely haunted!) photos but was a bit put off by the man downstairs so I put them back. If you love antiques then this is a must visit. The entire downtown is really nice with lots of restaurants and quirky stores.

Kaitlin T.

Yelp
I think the reason I love Antiques Marketplace so much is because there's nothing like this where I live in CA. It's a multi- story building right on the corner of Downtown Putnam and it's absolutely charming and so "New England". The staff is helpful for the most part and they are always willing to help open a case for you to see something closer. I love spending a few hours walking through all of the rooms just looking at every little knick knack and collectible thing imaginable. My hobby is collecting antique books, the older the better. Every year I always end up finding several books in good condition from the mid 1800's, and the selection there is endless. This store also has jewelry, clothing, china, books, furniture, statues, and toys. The displays are all nicely laid out and the store is clean and bright. I also have to give a shout out to one of the staff members who inspected a carnival glass piece I wanted to buy. He was honest enough to notice that it was slightly cracked and called the dealer up to ask for a lower and fair price for the item for me. I appreciate honesty in a business where people could easily take advantage of the potential inexperience of the customer. So yes, I like Antiques Marketplace, and I look forward to coming here every year to visit and find as many old books as I can take home. :)

Heidi C.

Yelp
love it here! So much to see! So organized and clean. Prices are great. Staff very helpful!

Matt W.

Yelp
I have shopped here for over 20 years, and sold here for 10. Yesterday I came here and was treated horribly by the new owner. There was some dispute, apparently, over an item I purchased 6 months prior. They put a note into my "file" that a tag had been recorded incorrectly. I thought the tag said a certain price, and so did the employee ringing up the item (this was 6 months prior). They claimed they called me, I never got a call. They DEMANDED extra money for the item! I told them that their store had made a mistake, and the cost was very small. Their dealer wrote an illegible tag, and their counter person also made the same mistake as I did. I've been in retail for 30 years, and know that in cases like this the tiny cost must just be absorbed by the shop. The RUDE new owner spent 20 minutes demanding extra money from me! This was worse because I just spent over $100 and the last time over $500 in the store. NEVER AGAIN. If you want to be treated with respect, and fairly, go elsewhere.

Ada L.

Yelp
The Antiques Market in Putnam advertises itself as "Central New England's largest antiques and collectibles mall." That sounds about right. Shopping its four floors, stocked by about 350 dealers, is an all-day affair. Set aside at least 2 hours to browse. With that many dealers, prices are vast-ranging. I've found amazing bargains here and drooled helplessly over fine antiques I could never afford. The selection is comprehensive and fascinating. The first time I went here, before I'd even finished browsing the cases on the first floor I'd already seen at least half a dozen things I wanted. The best strategy is to note the items that catch your eye as you go along so that you can check for better prices elsewhere in the store. Take your list to the floor attendant when you're done browsing so that you don't have to bother them to open a case every five minutes. Whether you're seriously into antiques or just a passing tourist, you're bound to find something interesting.

Brooke L.

Yelp
The silver lining of this whole experience is that I can now have my pretty woman moment if I eventually return to this store, "big mistake, huge!!" lol. For real though, I look a little disheveled today, but that is absolutely no reason to treat me any different than any other paying customer. I walked in and immediately got the side eye from one of the women working the counter, and then I said hi to her because I felt very uncomfortable, and she just kind of continued to stare at me. I walked away because I couldn't care less about being judged, I'm just here to shop. So I looked around and found some really cool vintage cookbooks, I started a collection of them and I was excited to add these ones to that. A woman comes up and asks if she can bring them up to the counter for me, i said sure and thanked her. So I'm done shopping, I go up to the counter, get looked at by two of the women working and they turn around and continue talking. I was like ok, I work service I understand sometimes we have little tasks to finish up, I can wait for them. So I wait and they don't acknowledge me, and then I wait a little more time again with no acknowledgment. I then put the pieces together that that woman took my books to make sure I didn't steal them, and that they didn't want me as a customer today. I'm not a bitter person, take a second to look at my past reviews. It takes a lot for me to feel I have to post a negative review. You have a decent selection, but your staff needs some customer service training. When I buy my house and furnish it, I'll be going to the local flea markets and Jeremiah's antique store located right next to this shop. Be better!

Jody C.

Yelp
Other store is neatly organized and has a little of everything and a lit of something's. Tons of jewelry....

Kim L.

Yelp
Love this shop. Staff is always available and super nice! This store is floor after floor of goodness brought to you by numerous individual dealers. Go there with plenty of time to really look around and go often things are always changing.

Lynn R.

Yelp
This store has a great selection of overpriced antiques. I have been in it each summer for the past 7 - 8 years, and they still have a good selection, they are still over priced, and the staff is beyond rude. Customers are not greeted when they enter the store, nor are they spoken to when they leave. If you ask to see something behind one of the locked glass cases, and ask a question of one of the old white men who are there to act as sales people, you are treated like you are really taking up a lot of their precious time. If you go, go with the attitude of looking, but don't expect a great shopping experience.

A S.

Yelp
Wonderful large antique shop! The have lots of sellers, lots to look at on 4 levels. There's a "bargain basement" type area. I lucked out and found the most awesome and wearable 60s dress for 10 dollars. There are lots if items in cases on the first floor. I saw a great mix of different styles so truly there was something for every taste. I can't wait to go back.

Susie Anne L.

Yelp
I walked in yesterday -- all the employees were gossiping and obviously not working. Some lady haughtily inquired if i was looking to rent space. I said "no". And inquired if they were closing as they were obviously moving a great deal of stuff around. Oh, my husband and I are the new owners --- very impressed with her stature -- and totally oblivious to helping me or even chatting me up. She made sure to tell me how wonderful they were and how no one else in town could compare as they now owned this and Jeremiah's. Lots of luck! I will NOT be back! The place and atmosphere gave me goosebumps.

Flurak P.

Yelp
I drove half an hour on a Tuesday and it was closed. The web site and door says open 7 days a week. I won't be going back

A W.

Yelp
We drove almost an hour to get here and were very disappointed. The prices people were asking for the items was OUTRAGEOUS. Will not return.

Michael S.

Yelp
Always someone to help out, huge variety, something for all taste. We ended up with a mirror/coat rack circa 1900, salt and pepper shakers, an old ad for scotch, and a couple other items. It is a huge place!

June B.

Yelp
Antiques Marketplace is an absolute wonderland for anyone interested in antiques, collectibles, unusual objects, prints, maps, fine jewelry - you name it. It's several huge floors of beautifully displayed things - at really good prices too. The people are really nice - very helpful. This is my go-to place for gift giving and for entertainment. It's well located too - surrounded by great coffee shops, restaurants and other unique stores. I wish it were in my downtown! I highly recommend it for fine jewelry as well as costume jewelry. My husband recently bought me a gorgeous diamond ring - a piece of estate jewelry - that I love. And the price was unbelievable!! Amazing, unique furniture too. I have bought many vintage pieces in great condition at Antiques Marketplace. Not to mention vintage clothes, glassware, kitchenware - it just goes on and on! If you're in the Putnam area, don't miss this place. You will love it and, like me, you'll become a frequent return customer!

Lyd M.

Yelp
This is a great spot to spend a few hours in. I hadn't been since I was a kid (my parents used to take me with them) and it was basically just as I remembered it. There are multiple levels, all of which are packed with tons of goodies from all different periods and with prices running the gamut. The first floor is mostly locked cases with tons of jewelry, coins, pottery, china, and silver on display. There are plenty of staff on hand letting you know they're available to help if you need a case opened. The second floor is all open stalls with the mid-priced items, and then there's a third floor mezzanine, which contains the least expensive items. They used to have a large arts and crafts furniture section, which is significantly smaller now but there nonetheless. Definitely set enough time aside when you come here, because there is so much to see! This is a spot that is totally worth the trip, as it is a well established and respected antiques shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Belle F.

Yelp
Overwhelming and overpriced. Lots of stuff. But you can find some gems if you have the time to look through everything. PS. Make sure you check out the basement. Found a pre-WW1 porcelain Noritake demitasse set with the tray dirt cheap. Seller clearly didn't know what it was or recognize the old markings.

Cheryl B.

Yelp
If you haven't been here yet do yourself a favor and visit this amazing 4 floor victorian building chuck full of unique items. There is such a huge variety of things for all ages. It's the go to place.

Amanda E.

Yelp
So thrilled that there are new owners at The Antiques Marketplace! While the previous owner has always been kind and helpful, I found his staff to be rude and unhelpful, with a few rare exceptions. I am glad the new owners are generating new dealers and a positive customer service approach is sure to follow. I know this because they work so tirelessly to make Jeremiah's Antique shop next door a fun and interesting shop. I cannot wait to see what improvements they can make in a Putnam establishment that has so much potential, like The Antiques Marketplace.

Chaz M.

Yelp
So This store offers a vary wide selection of antiques and collectibles. It is quite large and I dare say overpriced. When you walk in you are greeted by 1) multiple locked display cases. I do like to see prices and well to be able to touch an object I am considering buying without having to run after a salesperson w/ a key and attitude. 2) CAMERAS everywhere watching every step you take and don't think about looking at something too long as that may be a sign you are a THIEF. 3) Sales people that lurk around every corner watching your every move. You place a hand in your pocket or reach for your cell phone and the eyes are there WATCHING. You may be lost in your thoughts and you turn and there she is right in your face, the sales person you saw as you walked in who really didn't greet you but eyed you up and down as you walked in is now following you around. I get it... people steal and I'm sure perhaps this store had some bad experiences but I just don't like that feeling you get when you are pegged a shoplifter from the moment you walk in or are made to feel like you are being pegged one. It's very off putting. So I think the store is very nice but not one sales person was helpful or offered a "Welcome" or thank you for stopping in. I think a full body pat down and body cavity search before you enter the store and prior to leaving would be more welcoming. I unfortunately didn't buy anything on my visit. I did see a nice motto ware mustard jar but it was hugely overpriced and required the lurking salesperson to unlock the case to then hand me the item so I could see the price which was overpriced so I could hand it back to her to place in the case which she then locked. Far too many steps. I just didn't enjoy my shopping experience there.

Chris K.

Yelp
I'd avoid this place if I were a buyer or a seller. The sales staff are about as fun as a tax audit and downright grumpy. Per other reviews, staff are adverse to the kind of haggling you expect for antiques and collectibles (stuff is at least 25% overpriced). One time, a saleswoman refused to acknowledge a discount sign in plain sight. Another time, another told me something I was interested in was going to be available for purchase from her booth next week, despite the fact that it was on display in someone else's with no "sold" sign or anything. Still another insisted a $40 price tag said $80 (next time I went it, it was clearly marked $40, just as I suspected). I'd encourage buyers to load up on stuff at the front desk but walk away if the staff don't meet your expectations. I'd encourage sellers to go elsewhere or sell on eBay--even online is more personable than this shop.

Olivia R.

Yelp
huge store with all different types of collectibles. toys, jewelry, clothing, comics, furniture, clocks, typewriters, military, advertisements etc. people have been complaining about prices, but if you speak to someone working at the counter they will contact the vendor (either finding them or calling them) to discuss a possible lower price. friendly staff, knowledgable vendors, huge variety.

Jerry Z.

Yelp
I got curious with the hype ("Central New England's Largest Antiques and Collectibles Mall") and traveled from Massachusetts to get there. I arrived mid afternoon on a Sunday. I quickly came to the conclusion that the thousands of items in the store have each been strategically priced. In my mind, it's so not worth it. Much of the merchandise is locked and sealed inside glass cases. I did get 3 small items but I had hoped for much more. I wouldn't call it cavernous and there was a variety but it's priced like antiques, so not too many bargains I'm afraid and not too many interesting items either IMO.

R C.

Yelp
Was very upset to see this shop is still unfriendly to people who are disabled, its quite shocking to see a store of this size not handicapped friendly. Its sad that the owner of this store wont make the changes to make it more accessible, The help for the most part are nice, some are more friendlier than others, and I was surprised to hear some of them state the owner is quite cheap and that's the reason they wont make it friendlier to us, dosen't this fall under the americans with disability act???just a thought??

Tom F.

Yelp
Four floors of antiques, very early to mid-century. Reasonable prices; most are negotiable. One could spend several hours here (I've done it.).

Brian S.

Yelp
Half of the reviews speak of the old men not being friendly or they don't acknowledge that you are coming or going. The owner of this place doesn't pay for the help. all the elderly folks have a both in the building and in order to pay for the high rent he takes off $5.00 off of each hour they work it's not even minimum wage. They all know they are being taken advantage of but they need all the help they can get. This reflects in the price and mood they are in when you visit. The owner is making a mint of all the elderly he should be investigated. Next time you stop in let the owner know how ashamed you are of him

Diane D.

Yelp
This is by far one of my favorite antiques / collectibles shops. It's in an old department store and it's huge (several floors). It's got such a variety, because there are so many dealers selling everything from antique furniture to vintage collectibles & shabby chic pieces. It's a real antiques adventure. As a collector, I've found some really great pieces there, and sometimes an inexpensive, vintage decorative piece for my kitchen. I find the salespeople truly helpful.

Nicole W.

Yelp
Great people, very knowledgeable and so much variety it would take a good couple of days to enjoy this place in full..I saw a chair that I loved there and vaguely knew where to tell the floor person to look over the phone to find it again ...the gentlemen found it promptly and was such a pleasure to deal with! I can not wait to pick up my beautiful chair this week ! This is the perfect place to go with a girlfriend and antique and talk and laugh through this very large store with air conditioning too..it was a very muggy day so that was an especially nice touch they also make it so easy to enjoy the hunt with out having to lug your purse around with lockers available when you come in to lock it up and be free to just wonder around unencumbered . Wonderful restaurants with in close walking distance when you need a rest after checking out the many floors in this special CT antique store. Enjoy. My best friend and I had a wonderful time exploring there. I hope you do too..we will def be back soon!

Sherill C.

Yelp
This is a large shop with four levels, and a wide variety of all kinds of genuine antiques and fun collectibles. The service is friendly and helpful, without being in your face all the time. They are happy to try to reach a dealer for a better price if the item is over $50, and at any one time, you'll find special sales on many of the over 300 spaces in the shop. Gift certificates are available too. I love browsing here, and have purchased many terrific things without paying New York prices. There are several nice restaurants on the same street so you can spend a very nice day in this town. Definitely worth the trip!

Yelp
The Antiques marketplace is a large store with four floors with a vast amount of antiques and collectables for every ones budget. You should plan on spending most of the day at the store browsing and purchasing what catches your eye. I found that the people working the floors were helpful and would call the dealers for a better price for Me.; they did explain that the store policy was that items under $50.00 they could not call, however if the dealer was in the store they would talk to them and get a better price which happened to me. They also let me leave my items at the desk while we went to lunch. They were helpful in explaining the restaurants in the area. After lunch we retuned and finished our shopping. I found the store and the restrooms to be clean and the sales people friendly and helpful. After arriving home I realized that I forgot to purchased a piece of jewelry and called the next day they found the piece and told me that they could hold it or that I could purchase it over the phone with a credit card and they would hold it in the Lay a way room. I look forward to my next trip to the Marketplace and Putnam. There are other shops not all with antiques, and a variety of restaurants in the area. This is a great destination and a fun way to spend a day.
