Dottie's

American restaurant · Woodbury

Famous donuts! This is a full diner but the regular food seems very whatever. I think the move is picking up some ‘nuts for pre-lunch and/or later snack and heading to our next destination.

Ted's Restaurant

Hamburger restaurant · Meriden

Steamed cheeseburgers, a local delicacy!

Dinosaur State Park

State park · Hartford County

An absolute oddity that is also an actual state park?? Preserved dinosaur prints in a geodesic dome with replica dinos. So close to lunch, so could be a quick, fun, weird stop.

Antiques Marketplace

Antique store · Putnam

So much old shit for us to buy.

Puritan Backroom

Chicken restaurant · Manchester

Just feel like the inventors of chicken tenders have to be on the agenda. Very unclear if they have outdoor seating, but they have a takeout operation if we need/want.

Wolfeboro

Wolfeboro

Meredith's parents' house! Her picks TK for Friday ice cream + Saturday lunch and potential activities.

Laconia Antique Center

Antique store · Laconia

Peruse New Hampshire’s largest antiques mall for an hour and get lunch nearby. There is a lunch counter in the actual mall where we could get a quick bite, maybe even to bring on the boat, but it looks pretty lacking? Could also pick up from the Water Street Cafe, which is a 5 min walk/2 min drive from there; slightly worried about timing for that, though we could also aim for an earlier start.

Water Street Cafe

American restaurant · Laconia

Potential lunch option if we do antiques + boat on Saturday.

Mount Washington Cruises

Boat tour agency · Laconia

The mailboat cruise (“the oldest floating post office in the country!”) seems like the ideal boat tour option in terms of location, time, and cuteness. It’s two hours and costs $40 per person, and we will need to get tix in advance. Other things to know: we have to get there about 30 minutes before the 2p departure, and there is ice cream aboard but we should prob bring snacks.

Rockywold-Deephaven Camps (RDC)

Resort hotel · Grafton County

Wedding! Final destination! Check-in is at 4!

White Hut

American restaurant · West Springfield Town

Assuming we will want to drive straight through on the way back Monday, save for lunch + pee/snack breaks. We could do lunch at White Hut (halfway point between Deephaven and BK; burgers, hot dogs, shakes and soft serve) OR could just see what fast food is closest when we are hungry.
