The cookies are fine—very sweet, lots of sugar, with different flavors. They’re priced around $2.75 each. I would recommend the macadamia if you're into crunchy nuts with a mild flavor.
At first, I thought this was a young woman starting a small business, but when I searched for the company on Google I learned it’s actually a chain based in San Mateo. The girl working there was super sweet and kind.
Given that, I was surprised by the setup. There’s a lot of floor space, but minimal tables or chairs, which makes the store feel uninviting as a customer.
I’d encourage the owners to walk into the space, look left and right, and really consider why it’s laid out this way. The previous business made much better use of the space and felt far more welcoming. With some thoughtful improvements, this location could be much more inviting even if it's just grab and go. I also understand it's probably a work in progress.
Would I come back? Yes—especially since I was given a free cookie in email and if I need to use the restroom while in the area it's right there and it only costs a few dollars and I get to leave with a cookie. Score! 😜
Thanks for listening to my feedback.
