Antojitos Colibrí

Hands down the BEST antojitos in town! Been going there for years now and they never disappoint. With real ingredients, not like others claim to. Give them a try! A few of my favs are; fresas con crema, mangos con crema, and all of the aguas frescas are delicious! 🤤

This spot is so good! It’s a staple when you visit Reno, NV. I’ve lived in 11 different states and not one of them make any of the Elote, mango in a cup or Agua Fresca like they do!

It's a small dessert shop that definitely has more flare then most of its kind. Right here on Wells Street with the best staff. They have shaved ice, ice cream and other delicious fruity treats as well. I don't really write reviews but this place blew me out of this world. Bloody delicious!

Everyone was so welcoming and the vanilla raspado was amazing! Great service and such a refreshing treat—I'll definitely be back!

Yall need to check out this place ASAP. It is our 1st time here, as soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked if we have ever been here before we said no and right away he explained everything they had to us. He recommend some of the popular items they have. They are very respectful and to top it off. Everything ordered was on fire and fresh and I when i say fresh I MEAN FRESH FRESH!

Love this place, chamango chamango chamango please! They also have ceviche. I love walking to this place for lunch right around the corner from work.

First timer here and 5 stars all around. They even gave us a spiel of the entire menu. We order the chamango and had a wonderful chat with the man who runs it. Parking was simple and they have an outdoor patio, with shade! We will be back!!

Been coming here for a while. Last visit has me not wanting to come back here anymore. The two people working were sitting outside just hanging out with the girl feet up and all. Then she acted like we were a bother because she had to get up and do her job. Super disappointing.

Can I just say how obsessed I am with this place! BEST place in Reno for Aguas frescas and antojitos!! They use all fresh ingredients and staff is amazing my fav is the frozen fresas con crema and now they have frozen mangos con crema! My fav agua fresca is the 3 greens; Lime, cucumber, and cactus pear. Although they're all bomb! Always clean inside and love sitting out on their patio enjoying my snacks and drinks!

I got the fruit box and I added mango. All the fruit was fresh and so good! Will definitely be back. Perfect treat on these hot days.

Colibri is the best antojitos in Reno/Sparks hands down! I had an elote with a recommended agua fresca of passionfruit. First sip and it's light and refreshing, you can tell they don't use artificial syrups just like how they say, you can tell with the flavors itself. My honey had the popular chamango and the mango was perfectly ripe and soft to bite into, Along with the sorbet and chile it was delicious!! The service was so helpful explaining all the things they have and how they're made. The guy who helped us had a bright and upbeat personality and their slogan "looks good, tastes better" really lives up to its name. I loved the colors and painting they had on the wall it was very welcoming. People were outside enjoying the sunshine and weather at the patio tables.

The staff here are beyond wonderful. The two ladies who prepped our treats were so friendly and happily answered any questions we had. The owner was a very kind gentleman too. The frozen fresas con crema was DIVINE & my partner's passionfruit, pineapple, and lime agua fresca was very refreshing. The seating area outside had ample tables and beautiful artwork surrounding us. I know where I'll be getting all of my summer treats from!

If you're in Reno and craving quality antojitos, stop by Colibri on Wells. I promise they serve everything, and they provide the freshest ingredients. You won't find better service, and every time I'm in the neighborhood, I stop in for my for a cool treat or just one of their amazing agua frescas. My kiddos and I will be back.

A real treat! The father and son owner operators are doing it all from scratch!! Eat on the patio or order delivery. Bionica and the the home made shaved iced syrup will keep this place here for many years.

No better day than National Ice Cream Day to profess my love for this local business! Honestly not sure how I made it this long without writing this review because this is one special spot everyone needs to check out, especially now that they've been names #18 on Yelp's Top 100 Ice Cream Shops 2023! The difference here is they use fresh ingredients to make everything. Every syrup they use for the raspados start with fresh fruit, giving them the real flavor of it in the finished product and something not overly sweet. When it comes to ice cream, the case is stacked with 15 or so flavors of high quality ice cream. The corn for their elites and esquites is incredibly fresh and sweet, as is all the fruit from the mangoes to the coconuts! The ice cream on its own is good but it's even better when it tops one of their signature creations like a Fresada, which starts out as a strawberry raspado aka Mexican sno-cone/shave ice which gets topped with a scoop of creamy dreamy strawberry ice cream and chopped fresh strawberries too! You could also try a limonazo, which is a lime raspado with lime sherbet, super refreshing, or go classic with a banana split, waffle cone, or plain cup! The other major difference here is that this is a family owned and operated business that started as a dream, and with a lot of hard work and dedication, they've made it an absolute reality that now employs many people! They've grown from this single small location with a huge heart on wells Ave to now a food truck serving at the biggest events in town, and I know I'm watching to see what comes next!

business is not selling "shaved ice." They sell crushed ice in a plastic cup for $5.50 plus tax with a ton of sugar flavor mixed with water. So BUYER BEWARE THIS IS NOT SHAVED ICE. Sorry, not coming back.

It was good but I payed almost 70$ just for a 2 carrot juice 1frozen fresa and 4 frozen paletas ???? Expensive asf... but good nice lady's !!!

We love Colibri! It's been so long since we came for our Mexican treats! We visited 7/13/23 after my daughter got her braces removed after having them for years! The very first wish she had was to have a big elote with lots of mayo, cheese and lots of Chile. Girl, I am with you on this one! We decided to visit Colibri since this was the last place she had an elote before getting her braces put on. This is a very cute little place to come get all your gusgeras fix! From elotes to esquites, mangonadas, raspados, aguas frescas, fruit in cup, EVERYTHING! Great customer service and very clean. Parking is alongside of Wells. So Convenient! We ordered 2 elotes with extra everything on it and an agua de frutas. Man, did that elote hit the dang spot! We never ate an elote so fast in our lives lol. Paid with Apple Pay and it automatically signed me to their rewards system which was pretty cool!

What an amazing hidden gem! :D My club at UNR (Gray for Glioblastoma) partner up with the owners at Antojitos Colibri for one of our fundraiser and it was a success! The drinks were pretty good, not too sweet and flavorful, especially the aqua fresca. The elotes were amazing and they were made to order. I haven't tried their ice cream, but I will definitely try it out the next time I'm here. What won me over was the service! The workers there were welcoming and friendly, especially when I ordered an elotes to-go and they went above and beyond to make sure it was packaged correctly.

I tell everyone about Antojitos. This is one of the best places I've been to. I crave it and have to go often.

We stopped here to get some fresh fruit and ended up picking up a Fresas con Crema agua fresca and some corn. Everything was delicious, the water was perfect, not too sweet or bland. My husband enjoyed his corn and the fruit was fresh. The service was excellent, they were very pleasant and welcoming and took their time to explain the menu. We aren't local otherwise we would be here more often

My favorite Mexican snack place!! This place never disappoints! My go-to is the esquite (ask for it layered) and the agua de limón! They have ice cream, paletas, aguas frescas, tostilocos etc! The place is very clean and the staff always welcomes you with a genuine smile! Great things are in the works at this place and I cant wait to keep seeing them growing and expanding!

Whenever we are craving any mexican snacks we stop by Antojitos Colibri. We love their Esquite and Aguas Frescas. They have many other delicious items as well. The people at the counter are always nice and do a good job getting the food out even when super busy.

This is the best spot in Reno for elote and all other Hispanic treats!!! The first time we came last year, we brought our food home and it was so delicious that we went back an hour later to get even MORE!! Arianna took our order and was very sweet- we got tapatio on our elote after we asked her what her favorite sauce for it is- great recommendation!Mauricio gave us a tour of the menu and we learned all of their syrups are homemade, the mangos are cut fresh for you when you order, and they have a huge variety of homemade agua fresca. Incredible atmosphere, great place for yummy food every time. Always looking forward to our next treat there!

Uuummm... seems like they changed their recipe for chacamangos. It's literally the only thing I come here for so when I do order it I'm really craving for a specific taste. Their chacamango is suppose to have mango sorbet topped with chamoy, Tajin, mango chunks, chaca chacas and tamarind stick. The one I received from my last visit contained only about half mango sorbet and there was a creme popsicle in it... no chaca chaca and no tamarind stick either. This last visit was not satisfying for me at all and I'm not sure if I'll be back anytime soon. I don't like the new recipe, more importantly, the cream popsicle stick that was included in my supposedly chacamango. If inventory were a little short on items then unfortunately for me I won't be back soon because I'm not a fan of any of the substitutions.

This place hits the spot every time! Fulfill your sweet tooth with ice cream or a refreshing Chamango that never disappoints. Fruit cups with Tajin or a nice agua fresca. Get them all here. Sit on the patio and treat yo self! Hidden gem on Wells. Absolutely love this place!!

Got to finally try this antojitos at feed the camal at their food truck:) Got to try a tamarindo raspado and a chamango, both were generous sizes and were made with real fruit! Love the customizable options, like adding lechera or adding the tajin and chamoy Also got to try their esquite, pretty tasty:) The staff was also very sweet and attentive, even at the truck where there was definitely a line but they were quick! Thank you

Once reno starts to warm up in the spring and into the summer time, I always crave fresh fruits and veggies to cool off. The Aguas Frescas are super yummy! I've had their watermelon and their pineapple in the past. I also tried their corn in a cup, which is my weakness! The staff and very friendly and are happy to explain what they have to offer in their menu. I would highly recommend!

Found this place scrolling through the Gram and it did not disappoint! Went in specifically for an elote (Mexican styled corn on the cob) but instead got the esquite style (corn in cup) They slice the corn fresh off the cob and put all the same toppings you would see in an esquite but much easier to eat! They have two hot sauces either Valentina or Tapatio. Of course I had to go with the Valentina hot sauce! To bring the heat down I got a limon & tamarindo raspa (snow cone) I knew from the moment I walked in this place would be authentic and I was not wrong. They have some nice mexican music playing throughout the whole spot. The seating is outdoor with some nice big umbrellas to keep you cool in the shade. The owner was super nice and very informative about his menu and even shared the Antojitos Colibri story with me. Definitely coming back to try out more of their stuff!

Love this place! On a hot day in Reno.. BEST spot for ice cold deliciousness. Especially after a baseball tournament in 100°+ weather. When the craving hits for Mexican Fruit Cups, this is the place! When we arrived, we were promptly greeted by a woman that was tending to people that were there before use. When we got to the counter, we told her that it was our first time there. She gave us a rundown of the shop which included; fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, fruit juices, horchata, corn, ice cream, and shaved ice. She said that all of the fruits and vegetables are fresh and are prepared when ordered. They do not pre-cut their fruits and vegetables. The fruit juices and horchata is tasted every morning to ensure the quality. They even got a food truck so that they can participate in the food truck Fridays this upcoming season according to the woman. I ordered the mango preparado and asked that it be put in a to-go container with extra chamoy and tajin. This also came with a tamarind candy on a straw. Chefs kiss! The mango was somewhat ripe, the chamoy was somewhat sweet, the tajin had a little bit of kick with saltiness and the lime gave it that extra sourness. This combination was mouth-watering. I put it in the freezer when I got home so that it could be a little cold before I ate it. She did give us a sample of the horchata and it was delicious. Full of flavor. I will definitely give that a try next time as well as the elote. I wish I got the woman's name that was helping us since I keep referring to her as "woman" or "she", but she told us that the owner made the stickers that are placed on the containers. I have it pictured below. So cute! My husband got two scoops of chocolate cookie dough which was good, but kind of a boring choice. This place is a great place to get your fix satisfied when it comes to Mexican fruit cups! Great customer service as well. Come check it out!

The pińa colada is amazing out of this world. We also had a agua fresca that was delicious. Agua de sandia, mango and piña. The staff is amazing. went over everything they had and recommended some items. You could taste the freshness in everything we tried. We sat outside on the patio to enjoy what we got . We will for sure come back.

The hot cheeto esquites are delicious! Their aguas frescas are too! These are the things I get the most along with the elote, it's all worth the money. I will say some places are getting overpriced but antojitos colibrí keeps a good balance. Staff is also cool and will let you taste the aguas frescas to make sure you love it before you commit to the actual purchase. Great place!

I absolutely love Antojitos Colibri, they have never let me down. They have been so consistent throughout the many years that I have been a loyal customer. I always like to try antojito places, but I always compare them to Antojitos Colibri. They have everything that you would want from an antojito place and then some! Some of my favorites are the vanilla raspado, fresas con crema( both fresh and frozen. I think the frozen one is cute since it comes in the little carton), and the hot Cheetos esquite. They are also always friendly here! Never had a bad experience! I really enjoy the vanilla raspado here because it doesn't taste fake. There are some Antojito places that the vanilla flavor doesn't have that homemade taste but antojitos Colibri is not one of those places. It is so good! Something that I love from here is the esquite, especially the hot Cheetos version. Esquite is basically an elote in a cup! I think it is great here since the proportions are perfect. It is not overly mayo-y and it has the perfect creaminess. All od the flavors compliment each other without being too salty. It is the perfect snack. I also love that there is outdoor seating so I can enjoy my snacks with my pup right next to me. It makes for a perfect day!

Was excited to finally try this place out and was disappointed with the cold esquites we received! Apart from them being cold they had way too much cheese in them and made the cold esquites grainy and clumpy. My youngest got a fresas con crema with fresh strawberries and that was absolutely delicious! Next time I will be getting that instead. Customer service was great!

Wonderful chamango at Antojitos! Lots of aguas frescas in exclusive flavors! They create the beautiful hummingbird logo on the cups themselves as well. This is a check in but I wrote a regular review! Come visit them on Wells across from Von Bismarck!

We have walked by this place several times and finally decided to try it. It was absolutely delicious and such a cute little spot! They have a variety of flavors and different desserts to try. We went with ice cream this time and are excited to go back and try something new next time.

I was picking up food and decided stop by here again since I was in the area. I first discovered this place from a previous Yelp event and I'm so glad that I attended that event! Parking will be on the street or nearby the 7-eleven with a short walk. Since it was a bit of a warm day, I decided to treat ourselves to something refreshing! The inside of the store is pretty small, so they were only allowing a couple of people in. For our treats, I got a medium Esquites or corn in a cup, a large Passion Fruit/Watermelon Agua Fresca, and for checking in, a scoop of Maui Waui Sherbet! The girls inside were friendly and welcoming. My order came out pretty quick and I left in less than 5 minutes. The Esquites was yummy and they accommodated my request for a little bit of the chili. The Agua Fresca hit the spot in keeping me hydrated. I finished the Maui Waui Sherbet in my car before going home to give my boyfriend his share of the goodies. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area again!

I might have found my new favorite treat especially on a hot day! There's this thing in the menu called CHAMANGO.. its sweet, a little sour and a kick of heat. It has layers of shaved ice and mango sorbet with chuncks of fresh mangoes on top. I dont know what took me so long to try this but it is a winner! I have always loved coming to this place because they have the best agua frescas with lots of flavors to choose from and an option to combine flavors if you choose to! Some of our favorites are berry mint, strawberries and cream, watermelon and a new one they have is melon+carrot! They also have smoothies and all kinds of snacks on the menu. Elotes is a must try! This place is a gem Come visit them!

Snacks My kids and I love the sweets here. Family favorites: -bionico - raspados (vanilla and strawberry) - Red Bullet (Red Bull plus mango slush) - fresas con cream Savory: Esquites ( the Cheeto one) Tostilocos Overall this is just fun and fresh to eat.

The service is really cool the guy is really cool he got to know me first which I really liked and there was a girl in the back and she gave me really good food combos I even got one and it was super good. And of course the food was delicious.

Great place for all your snacks and refreshing juices! Delicious horchata, not too thick or too sweet. Outside tables to enjoy the nice weather we are getting into. Also the family who owns it is so inviting, you will want to come back just to say hello.

I came here for a yelp event and was greeted with the kindest two gals working the front. They waited while my mouth watered over all the delicious options and gave me recommendations. I ended up going with the strawberry and creme shaved ice as they recommended. Its the BEST ive ever had. ((Quick downside- i went back a couple weeks later and ordered the same thing. This time unfortunately the person who made it did something different. It looked and tasted different and not as good) They had a special going and i couldnt pass it up so i got a single (mind you MASSIVE) scoop of their rocky road ice cream. It was delicious ((Quick note the flavor was very rich so if thats not your favorite then maybe opt for a flavor but i personally loved it)) When youre driving by you might miss it but if you keep a look out for a logo youll see it. Parking is street parking right outside

I finally tried this sweet , refreshing treat I've been hearing so much about! I got the mango and piña Raspado and it was sweet, icy, and delicious. I also grabbed a friend her usual vanilla Raspado with lechero (sweet cream), which I tasted and that was super tasty! I'd recommend adding some to make it even more decadent! The shop itself is small but cute. There is a little bit of street parking in front, and if you want to sit for a bit, there are some tables out front. The interior only allows for one group at a time right now, and just for ordering purposes. The only bummer was I wasn't offered a small ice cream, and as I was told by a regular (after my visit), if it's your first visit, you'll get one. Sniff sniff. Oh well, gets that's a good excuse to go back and try more tasty treats!

Such a great little hole in the wall spot for perfect ice cream, tons of flavors and fun shaved ice drinks with natural syrups! Workers are super chill and natural, explain the menu and everything very thoroughly without being intense about it. Perfect experience. Loved my double scoop of pistachio almond in a waffle cone! Also fun music and great vibes. 10/10
