What a great cheese class!
So thankful that I follow them on Instagram. I was scrolling and noticed they had a few seats left for their Sunday morning brunch cheese class. I even got a discount!
I arrived a little early, just never know about parking. There are 2 small parking areas.
I was cheerfully greeted when I walked in and handed an apple cider mimosa. I was guided to my seat.
I did walk around and take pictures. The room is stunning, and very beautifully decorated.
As everyone was arriving, they were also guided to their seats and handed a mimosa.
After a short period, a cow bell was rung to give our attention to the hosts.
They introduced theirselves to us and gave a little insight of how they became employees with Antonelli's Cheese. Which was a cute story, for both hosts.
Plates were put out in front of us, and class begun. We sampled a beautiful 7 specific cheese. Its was like one was better than the last. I enjoyed all of the cheese. But there was one that I couldn't get enough of. And that was the raw cow milk Canadian cheese Chemin Du Brule. It was a soft, creamy, savory cheese. On its own was delicious. It was paired with an apple onion jam, that sounded off, but that jam alone was delicious as well. The cheese and the apple onion jam on a little toastie, makes a great holiday app.
A lot of cheese sampling. I'm not going to get into all 7, but they were all great in their own way. And the pairings really are imaginative. I see a lot of holiday ideas with this class. Thank you for the knowledge, and the tastings. Wonderful class. And I look forward to going to another.
