If Fontainhas is the heart of Panaji, then Antonio @ 31 is definitely its pulse. I absolutely fell in love with this place! It’s a tiny, vibrant spot tucked away in one of the iconic blue lanes, and it perfectly captures that artsy, soulful energy of the Latin Quarter. The vibe here is just unmatched, it’s intimate, lively, and feels so authentic. It’s the kind of place where you can tell every detail has been thought out. We tried a variety of their small plates (tapas style), and the food was incredible. They take traditional flavors and give them such a creative, modern twist. Their cocktails are also fantastic and pair perfectly with the upbeat, buzzy atmosphere. It’s a small space, which only adds to the charm, making it feel like a secret local gem even though it’s quite popular. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or spending a long evening over small plates, it’s an experience you shouldn’t miss. A few helpful FYIs: Space is Limited: It is a very small, cozy place, so it can get packed quickly. If you’re planning to go for dinner, arriving early or checking ahead is a good idea. The Menu: It’s all about small plates/tapas, which is great because you get to try a lot of different things. Don't be afraid to ask the staff for recommendations—they really know their stuff! The Location: It’s right in the middle of the colorful Fontainhas streets, making it the perfect reward after a long walk exploring the architecture.

This place just rocks. They are the best in Panaji. They serve fresh Urrak, which is a must have. Their fish fry is just amazing and can't be described in words. One should never ever miss their only dessert on the menu. Don't miss that out. Ros Omelette was good enough, needed a little more spice in it though

Antonio is a little gem tucked away in the lanes of Fontainhas in the old quarter of Panjim — easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, but well worth finding. It’s a quaint bar and tapas spot serving small plates, with a relaxed yet refined feel that draws a more upper-end crowd. Prices are on the higher side, but the atmosphere, setting, and overall experience justify it. There’s plenty of seating inside, and I loved the little touches — including seating built into the window ledge, where one person sits inside the restaurant while the other sits out in the alley. Simple, charming, and very Fontainhas. If you’re wandering the area, this place is a must. Top tip: don’t miss it.

We just stumbled onto Antonio on a bar hopping spree in Panjim one day and were completely taken by the beautiful warm interiors , great music and smiling servers , we sat inside for a bit and then shifted out into a small colourful area. It's a gem , with top notch food and cocktails . We had the urak cocktails and absolutely loved them , and pork dishes along with the humus lamb was puuurrrfeeect and still brings my mouth to water ... Highy recommend Antonios for anyone looking for great Tapas bites , phenomenal cocktails and good music ..I will be back for sure 😊

Tucked away in the lanes of Fontainhas, Antonio is one of the most underrated places, according to me. Most of us end up going to Joseph Bar and miss out on this lovely spot. It’s a tapas bar serving authentic Goan food with a great vibe. The cocktails are amazing, the food is delicious, and the interiors are really pretty and aesthetic. Every corner is colourful and full of character.

100% recommend! By far my most favourite place in Panjim. Not a single thing was bad, or even average- everything was outstanding! Cocktails were delicious and boozy. Purple rain was lovely. We also got the chicken skewers, balchao fish and beef stir fry. We were very kindly helped by Roshan, he was so sweet and helped us pick the best items from the menu. I am so glad this place exists. Thank you and I cannot wait to visit again! :)
