After meeting Momma Rita at the original Dearborn location (a true gem with great stories), we made it our mission to visit all five Antonio's family-branded restaurants. So far, we've hit four—and Antonio's Piccolo Ristorante stands out as the most modern and elegant, despite being the smallest. The entrance, with its canopy and welcoming hostess, leads to an upscale bar and a stylish dining area with both linen-covered tables and granite-top booths. The ambiance is refined—perfect for a special night out, though guests were dressed casually during our visit. Service was excellent, with well-paced courses and a professional, friendly staff. The cocktails, soup, salad, roasted Brussels sprouts, broccolini, and (as always) the bread were all outstanding. However, we were disappointed with two signature dishes: the chicken marsala and chicken scallopini. Compared to the consistently superb meals we've had at the other locations, the sauces on both were overly thick, overly sweet, and lacked the bold flavors we've come to love from this family brand. That said, this is still a beautiful restaurant with fantastic service. It's a bit far for regular visits, but we're glad we experienced it—and now we’re just one visit away from completing our Antonio's tour! If you haven’t been to their flagship in Dearborn (Roman Village), it’s been around for over 60 years and is absolutely worth the trip.

Google
Great food and wonderful service. My husband and I went the day before St. Valentine’s Day. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, minestrone soup; he ordered pesto pasta and I ordered the lamb shank, which was extremely tender and flavorful. Highly recommend!

Google
For what you get, it’s not that much. I got a chicken parmigiana panini and for $11.95 it was a joke. I could have got a better meal off the kid menu so I don’t know why they offer this at such a high price. The managers reason made no sense. Will not come back and would advise other people as well.

When you think italian restaurant, you think expensive, time consuming, and not much room for personalization. That is not true at Antonio's! Truelly, the customer service is outstanding 👏 the food is as fresh as can be 😋 the wait time are better than the average pizzeria, and there is much room to accommodate ones unique palette. The gentleman working the counter is on another level of hospitality and Truelly carries himself with such impeccable mannerism. Although it is not advertised... you can take home fresh pasta by the pound! Weather it be linguini, spaghetti, alfredo, or of the many other options available. The fresh bread is to die for! And portions are huge! The ranch.... oh the ranch! So creamy and light and flavorful! I've been a long time customer for multiple branches around metro Detroit and I stand by Antonio's and will always be loyal to them when it comes to Italian! You have got to try out the Gelato! So many rotating flavors to choose from, so creamy and unique! Weather it be pizza, calamari, calzone, pasta, canolli or gelato... Antonio's really is the place to go! Ughhhh the toasted almond tiramisu is other worldly good! You have to try it!

Google
Ordered pizzas which were just ok, but for the price, I expected better. The lasagna, was just horrible. You call yourselves Italian?! I’m American and I make a better and more flavorful lasagna than this!!! And mine is not oily or burnt😡 just terrible and if I were a business owner this would embarrass me! What you see is definitely not what you will get.

Google
Overall great experience! Since I can't have dairy, it was a challenge to find something. But my server was WONDERFUL with helping me find an item for me and making sure the staff knew about my needs!

Google
This is one of my staple restaurants in the Livonia area. A large variety of delicious menu options, fresh hand made pasta and decadent gelato! Great place for a date or for the whole family. If you want the “real deal” in Italian cuisine, this is it!

Google
The food was phenomenal. The service was very good. I will definitely come back. Also, thank you SO much for identifying vegetarian dishes on the menu. This simple act means a lot to me and makes my life so much easier when trying to decide what to order.

Yelp
My wife and my sister-in-law went here to celebrate a birthday. We arrived at 5p.m. On a Tuesday and were immediately seated for dinner. The restaurant was tastefully decorated for the holidays. We met our waitress Deborah and were given adequate time to peruse the menu. I had had the mostaccioli casaruola before and it was delicious. In a large ramekin, there was Italian sausage and meatballs baked with the noodles and a crunchy gooey baked cheese. My wife had stuffed cannelloni with sausage veal and meatballs also baked the same way. The birthday girl had chicken Marsala which was great. We were offered a choice of salad or soup and all had delicious salads. Deborah brought us wonderful warm bread while we were waiting. After a sumptuous dinner the birthday girl received three mini chocolate canollis which we split. Finished with two cups of delicious coffee and the bill with a twenty percent tip came to 89.00 Well worth the experience. Fine dining at reasonable prices in the heart of Livonia!

Yelp
The staff here at this specific location are at times not to par. One of the times Gerrett rang me up for take out, I handed him a $20 for a $14/$15.00 item. He then took it on his self to pocket the rest as his tip, not attempting to give me my change. The building is freezing in the winter! I have waited 15 plus minutes to be greeted by a server, while sitting in a booth during lunch time when the restaurant was Empty! All the other affiliated Antonio's restaurants have nice service, this location specifically is not to par!

Ella M.

Yelp
The food we got was not great. my daughter ordered mostaccioli and it was basically marinara sauce on top of mostaccioli noodles - no hamburger, no cheese and on top of that it was cold. The water glasses were dirty along with the silverware. We had to send both back and ask for clean ones. i don't think I'll be back to Antonio's.

Andrew M.

Yelp
Second visit. Outstanding! Mostaccioli with meat sauce and mushrooms. And chicken pastina soup to start. Finished with the marscapone gelato. Outstanding!

Yelp
Attempted to celebrate my sisters college graduation this evening, and had a less than enjoyable time. Server was pleasant but neglectful. We had a large party in a private area, and she was also being sat in the dining room which kept most of her attention. We had to ask for refills on our drinks 3 times before she brought them. Everyone got their salads at different times, and a few forgotten. Dinner was cold, which was an even bigger disappointment. When we asked to speak to management to express our disappointment he was extremely rude and dismissive. Being a server myself- I can assume our server was going to automatically add gratuity to our party- so she didn't care to give great service since her tip was guaranteed regardless of how she ran our evening. Something so special was being celebrated tonight and it was so disappointing. We all left hungry, and irritated. 0/10

Yelp
It's been a while since I've eaten at an Antonio's restaurant. knowing the owner, and his reputation for excellence, we expected nothing less than a superlative experience. as members of a birthday party of 20, we were pleased to be seated immediately upon arrival at 6:30 since they were already expecting us. The evening revolved around ordering from their "princess menu" with salad and appetizers being served family style, and our choice of a main course - a great value! The problems began when we ordered drinks that were not included with the dinner. I ordered a soft drink (included with the dinner) and that request was ignored. It's ok, I'm content with water. Shortly after that, I ordered a frozen margarita for my wife. We were instructed that it is restaurant policy to pay for the drinks upon delivery as opposed to at the end of the meal. Well, the drink was excellent, but $11 for a regular size margarita is a bit excessive, but the ultimate insult, the 3% service charge for using a credit card. Again, restaurant policy. Now, we are about 45 minutes into our seating when they finally decided to bring bread and salad to the table - at the same time. It wasn't like the place was packed or that they didn't know that a party of 20 was going to be seated. Very disappointing. But wait, there's more - only One of the 2 salad platters had tongs to serve it with. "We don't have enough clean tongs" said the waitress. Restaurant Policy??? So, we are 2 tables of 10 with 2 platters of salad on each table and only one set of tongs per table. Oh, and small plate with 2 small bowls of salad dressing per table of 10. Thankfully, the bread was delicious. Shortly thereafter, the pasta course arrives. Tasty, but not much sauce and possibly overcooked. my wife and I ordered the fish as our main course. It was flaky and tender. It may have even been tasty bit was drenched with tomato sauce. I'll skip dessert although they could have waited until the birthday cake was served BEFORE giving us our ice cream. So now its time to settle up. a few of the diners in our group needed to use a credit card - again a 3% surcharge. And only after hassling them over it! As an aside, I usually would not waste my time writing a bad review, but I feel it's my duty to warn people about this disaster of a place. Bottom line: if you want Italian food, there are much better choices. Antonio - you should be ashamed of yourself!

Deborah P.

Yelp
Had the Perch special on Friday-so light and delicious and a nice change from the deep fried fish we would have had! Hope they continue to offer this dish, we highly recommend it. It came with soup or salad, a cooked vegetable and side of pasta!

Nicholas H.

Yelp
Had a really good time here. First time in. Bartender was very attentive. Started with a Bruschetta, the tomatoes were bright, acidic and juicy. Had the Carbonara for my main course. Great portion size. The egg yolks were rich and the pancetta was perfectly crispy. Had the chicken soup and it was awesome.

Yelp
We celebrated my friend's birthday here on a Saturday night, and as a first timer here, I have mixed feelings about our visit. We didn't have to wait long for a table, but they also weren't very busy. We could tell right away that our waitress lacked enthusiasm or maybe it was an off day. After enjoying too much bread and my side salad with house dressing, my main dish, Mostaccioli Casseruola, came from the kitchen. It not only looked yummy but it tasted delicious. I would order it again although the sausage wasn't as good as I'd hoped. Of our group of 5 , all but one was pleased with their food. This friend ordered a dish with Angel hair pasta and the pasta must have been over cooked. It was stuck all together in big clumps. It looked disgusting. When she told our waitress she wasn't happy with it, she said she'd talk to the manager. She never came back to tell us what the manager said, but when we received our bills her entree was taken off (as it should be). But then my friend noticed there was a charge for a bowl of soup that she didn't have. Come to find out, the manager said to take off her entree but charge her for a side salad or soup (which was like $8). Unbelievable! Yes, she ate her salad before her meal, but to charge her $8 for a side salad when she wasn't happy with her meal!! Wowza! So disappointing! This was the part of the meal that bothered all of us. Taking off one meal wouldn't hurt their business, and their business is to make people happy. As a result we all left with a "bad taste" in our mouths. Not a good move on managements part.

Yelp
Food is great, the great is amazing and the almond tiramisu. Lasagna is very good too.

Stephen H.

Yelp
Decent restaurant, with good service. Authentic northern and southern specialties. Extensive farinaceous menu and some house specialties like veal Piscata, Chicken Antonio and Chicken Marsala, all very good. Cones with soup or salad. The pasta e fagioli is very close to a recipe from the Abruzzo region. A few items on the menu I dont care for like the cod in tomato sauce. The bolognese actually has sliced carrots in it and served with Cappellini albeit it is rather bland. The wine list is extensive. The interior is clean, comfortable, a bit regal with its marble foyer leather booths. This restaurant is a step above an Olive Garden but not quite Andiamo. The service is prompt and exact. The location is great. The visit is worth many return trips. Mangia, mangia!

Yelp
Great dinner and service last night. Impromptu Friday night diners seeking a table at 6:30? Yikes. We were super lucky. Able to slip in party of two and the good feelings kept coming. Courtney was our server and was right on top. Instant greeting with water and a smile. Beverage order, dinner order, basket of bread and salads. Top notch. Eggplant Parmesan in house with pizza, chicken Marsala and lasagna to go for the home squad. Thank you for keeping it real. Great food, consistent flavors, portions and smiles. We will be back.

Amber D.

Yelp
Love Antonio's! Especially the chicken Alfredo!! You get so much for your money. The bread is also the best ever!

Jesse M.

Yelp
We love Antonio's and always look forward to coming. They have really generous portions and the food is always delicious. The espresso martinis are great too!

Joseph N.

Yelp
Food and service was great but beware that they automatically add a charge of 3% credit card fee for paying your bill by credit. Paid cash and the charge remained on bill, called and spoke with a manager who was very hostile and hung up on me. Probably will not be going back even though the food is great!!

Chris B.

Yelp
Perhaps not a 5 star restaurant but very good Italian food. We eat in, get carry out and have had them cater a few events for us and it's always fantastic! Dennis the manager does a awesome job keeping his staff smiling and getting the food out hot and on point. Keep it up!

Lubna B.

Yelp
Recently picked up carry out....the pizza was good, Cheesy and the right amount of sauce. The side of bread with the soup was awesome! Also an order of the minestrone soup, a huge disappointment..which is what I'd been really looking forward to eating....the reason I knocked off two stars...it way too salty and had an off lemony acidic sour taste. Kind of if the tomatoes used are too acidic and need to be sweeter to offset this odd bitter lemony acidic taste. And the soup was thick...like it had been old and heated over and over and the noodles and other components had began to break down and thicken a broth that should not be this thick for minestrone. Was inedible!!!:( Probably will not be back.....can pick up pizza at other restaurants that's better. Bad soup was their downfall!

Kristin G.

Yelp
Ok, I understand there is a staffing shortage - we know that going into most restaurants and we accept that. What is NOT acceptable is to be seated and 4 tables after you were seated get service before you. And, we said to the server we were ready when she was and instead of politely explaining that she wasn't our server she was more than rude saying she wasn't our server with the nastiest look she could muster. No mention of "let me go find yours" etc. I live in the DC area and am from Michigan originally. I've never encountered a ruder server than we had at this restaurant. Beware if you go that you may get This type of service. Food was great but I cannot recommend. Being short staffed is not a license to treat customers badly. Period.

Janet R.

Yelp
We go there a lot. Their pizza and salads are excellent. Bread is fresh baked and delicious. Wait staff is friendly.

Sheldon E.

Yelp
First time back since COVID, but I'm sad to say this restaurant is not yet back. Service was slow, I understand labor is an issue, but if you have limited staff close down the number of open tables! Don't make all your guests missable. Took 30 minutes to get a glass of water. Bread came out after the meal. Food had been sitting around a while before being served. No, I cannot recommend this place now, maybe I'll try in another few months before writing these guys off completely.

Liz R.

Yelp
Finally, an Antonio's in Livonia! All the delicious bread, dishes, gelato, handmade pasta, and ice cold salads with that addictively thin Ranch that you know and love at the other Antonio's is now here. Yes! They've taken over the Gulios (spelling?) restaurant, and made it their own. Nice interior updates. Less tables than the other restaurants, but it didn't feel tight. Maybe 8-10 seats at the bar. Food is the same (aka yummy). Service was good. Management (owners?) were making the rounds. Parking is tight!! Leave your long truck at home because it's going be a squeeze down the cramped aisles and in and out of your spot. Can't wait to return!

Ray B.

Yelp
We had a party of 6 at 5:15. The service was slow and confusing. I admit we weren't ready to order right away, however, after an hour we still only had cocktails (which weren't very good). Our server apologized for the bartender being slow, the computers being down, the kitchen being backed up. The manager came by and asked how we were doing before the dinners came out. I told him that we had been there for nearly an hour and we were still waiting on drinks. He asked who the server was and when I said her name, he kind of rolled his eyes as if her service had a history of being problematic. She finally came back to the table and asked why we complained about her to the manager, what an uncomfortable and unprofessional situation, Many things were forgotten or delayed. We had to ask 3 times for the order of gluten free bread, it came out after our meals were served. She forgot my wine, first round of drinks took almost 30 minutes. Dinner was good. By the time our checks were cashed out, ( had to be redone 4 times) we had been there just over 3 hours. Some of us had been there before and enjoyed it but we this time we felt we were in the Twilight Zone. She kept telling my wife that she looked like Kelly Clarkson, which is fine, but it was basically the theme of our conversation with her, she must have mentioned it 5 times The server needs some training in table side etiquette and attention to detail. It would serve her well to take some responsibility instead of blaming everyone else. I understand things happen to detract from a pleasant dining experience, but we had so many issues that it makes me wonder if some of it was due to the server not being able to handle her section.

Pizza Eatery A.

Yelp
Ordered the gnocchi with meat sauce and they tasted like they were old and stale . Than the Veal parm the veal was overcooked not tender and the plating was horrible to much cheese and sauce for the amount of leather veal . The best thing was the bread dipped in the balsamic and olive oil thats why I give it 2 stars . Waitress and staff were great taking care of everyone in the dining room. The meat sauce was separating which means it wasn't cooked long enough or right . Cant fool everyone

Jina W.

Yelp
If I could give this restaurant a negative rating I would. The waitstaff is inattentive at the very least. We ordered cokes as soon as we sat and the waitress finally got them to us when she served the entree's. We literally had to go hunt her down. There were 10 people in the whole place and she was way too busy playing with her phone. The food was subpar and cold, the spaghetti and meatballs were dry and flavorless, the ravioli cold and not filled We definitely won't be back again.

Debbie B.

Yelp
Have not been seated yet. 8 person bar that allows people to order full meals at the bar during their busiest times. People at the bar are in no hurry to leave. Waiting area not big enough to accommodate those waiting. Questioning whether the wait is worth it.

Paris K.

Yelp
I came here, I was sat but waited over 15 minutes at a dirty booth and was met with a late waiter that is apart of the family of this establishment. I was told that my order was too complicated and included too many up charges and that I can't get angel hair pasta or shrimp with my meal. It felt like they were being extremely lazy. Angel met me with a sassy attitude, telling me that he thought I said I never came here before after I just told him I came here multiple times before. He assumed I had an issue with being upcharged when my issue was that I was told initially that I couldn't order my meal my way, period, up until Angel came and said I had to pay an up charge of $8+ for the pasta after accusing me of having an issue with the upcharge. They don't know what I have in my pockets and they'll never get another penny. I felt uncomfortable with being one of the only 3 black people in the front dining area and not being understood by manager Angel. I never wish to see Angel again if I ever so much as think of returning here again. They're lucky I had to put one star in order to write this review!

Tony G.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped here to have our anniversary dinner. We entered the restaurant at 8:15 and were promptly seated. We also received water almost immediately. This was the last contact we had with any staff member. We sat for the next 25 minutes with not one acknowledgement from anybody besides the awkward glance from the bus girl. We had our heart set on this place for our anniversary dinner and we were left frustrated and disappointed. For two people from the service industry, it was sad to feel like servers were purposely ignoring us. I don't have proof of that but I don't know how you can walk by a table multiple times over the course of nearly a half hour and not notice they still have menus and no food of any kind. I was not expecting this tonight at all.

Annette A.

Yelp
Ordered from here last week for the 2nd time in the last couple months. The food at Antonio's is always good. I know it's nuts but the bread is my favorite thing here. I have to say a side of gnocchi with Rita sauce is a perfect portion and the Rita sauce with bacon and tomato cream is soooo good. This place has the carry out and curbside method down to a science and I like the way they do it. It's a smooth and fast process for some really good food from a less "fast food" style carry out experience. Can't wait to dine in again

Kiera S.

Yelp
Love Authentic Italian, during this self quarantine we decided to try Antonio's for the 1st time. There is a carryout section and as required markers were on the floor. I didn't like how a staff working came from the carryout section came around and randomly asked a gentleman if he'd been helped and started his check out.....I was next so I spoke up. She def needed to ask who's next with all the people spread, there's no other way to tell. Food smelled delicious and was piping hot! When I got home we tore into our 3 very diff meals food was blah, lacked seasoning and taste! My husband actually said Papa Romanos is better than this. Thumbs down for us very flavorless...

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
FYI the prices on the on line menu are wrong, $2.50 per entree wrong!!! So we politely called back& cancelled the $7.95 bowl of soup! When we went in to pick up the order, the VERY RUDE "part owner" asked why we cancelled the soup?? She then proceeded to literally tear into our bagged order (she couldn't untie the bag) and removed the soup "You can't have this you didn't pay for it" We were shocked at her hostility & took our paid for, torn up raggedy bags home! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

M Z.

Yelp
So this was my first time here, the restaurant itself is really nice I loved the vibes as soon as I walked in.. The hostess and the waitress and everybody there was so nice the service was fantastic! Now The first thing that I really didn't like was as soon as they sat us at our booth, the booth was dirty! I mean like I literally had to push garbage off the booth onto the floor.. .the food... was just okay. It wasn't bad by any means but it definitely wasn't great.. there were four of us and we all ordered four different things and all of us had the same reaction "meh, it's ok". I think I'd give it another shot if I was invited there but I probably would not go out of my way to go back there.

Charles C.

Yelp
Usually good food at Antonio's. This time was a big disappointment. The salad was weak, the pasta fagioli was too thick and too spicy, the polenta was overcooked and dry and the waiter was a weirdo blow hard. If I ever go back to Antonio's, it won't be this one!!!

Kelly R.

Yelp
This has become on of our favorite places to eat! Yes some items can be a little pricey, but -- so delicious!! I get the chicken cacciatore quite often because it's always so good, probably the best I've ever tasted. Their meatballs and meat sauce are also great - you can get a side order if your entre doesn't have them. The mostaccioli casserola is also delicious! I only wish they had bread withOUT butter already on it. (can't have the dairy).

John. A S.

Yelp
Great place only good thing to say about Antonio's been going to this location for years

Anne K.

Yelp
To be honest, I wasn't expecting much... But the garlic bread was a great start! Good flavor, and a perfect level of salt. I had 2 pieces at the restaurant and 2 more later at home. The caprese salad was huge. It came with A LOT of artichokes, olives, and roasted red peppers - which I didn't eat (but my step-mom enjoyed!). The tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil were fresh and delicious! The Antonio's pizza came with pepperoni, sausage, ham, green peppers, and onion. It was really good and filling. After two pieces I was stuffed. Dad had the minestrone- which was really good too. Kind of tasted like an elevated Campbell's vegetable soup. He also had the Chicken Marsala which was a little too sweet for both of us. Leftovers were reheated with some chicken broth that toned the sweetness down. Chicken was cooked nicely. It was another large portion that came with spaghetti and meat sauce. The spaghetti sauce was also on the sweet side which I didn't mind. We left with banana gelato as well as the apple pie gelato. Both unique and very good. I would come back for the salad, breadsticks, and pizza.

Dana W.

Yelp
We're here eating and OMG!!! The portions are HUGE and they come to the table piping hot. We started with the polenta appetizer...it was really good. The bread came fresh from the oven with 6 small loaves topped with butter and light seasoning...again, piping hot. We await our entrees as the soup that came before our meal was huge and...piping hot. We've already had it boxed to go. Food is here! I ordered the Spaghetti and I added meatballs. It was really good! Our waiter was very friendly and prompt. I was expecting bad service but not at all. Dante (our server) was great! Bring your appetite. We ordered an appetizer, entrees, and a dessert and most of it has been packed to go! Will definitely be back!

Marc M.

Yelp
Antonio's is just consistently good. The staff and the food make this place a staple for me and my family.

Jessica R.

Yelp
Food was great; service was sub par. I hate when a server abandons me after my food arrives. She did not have a great attitude and it deteriorated throughout the evening. At one point, my husband looked at me and asked, "Is it us?" It wasn't. The server forgot the cannolis we asked for as a 'To Go' order. If I am seated at her table again, I would ask for someone else.

Joseph G.

Yelp
Tried a new but old family restaurante! If you Tasted Roman Village than you already been here. The Rugiero family is at it again. Antonio's opened in April 2018 and they have spread Italian all over little Livonia. Mama what have you ah done. The minestrone soup the , Italian salad were perfecto. We ordered a small pizza with pepperoni and the best cheeses ever omg. Yes we were hungry do we ordered two lasagnas and it was truly homemade like mamas. The noodles are made in the building. The cheese must of been made in Italy with such authentic and hardy taste. The sauce must of been made from scratch in the kitchen, Put it all together and you have the best lasagna ever. So much stuff on the menu. So little space to put it all. The 3 of us walked out with lots of left overs! Oops did I forget there famous French bread severed nice and warm ? All food served piping hot too. The pasta Fagioli was very tasty as well. Prices fair. Service by Amanda was magnificento! We have to go back just to sample more of the items on those 6 page menus!

Bonnie D.

Yelp
I would have given this restaurant more at least 2 more stars but I can't due to the customer service we received tonight. When we walked in 2 men that looked like managers or owners turned around to say hi and immediately return to their chat. THe hostess was fine and seated us in a booth that we requested. It was a quiet night, no wait and plenty of open seating. Our waitress came over immediately after we sat, before we could look at the menu, asking for a drink order without greeting us. When we told her we needed a minute to look at the bar menu, she seemed unpleased with us. That was the beginning of very mediocre service through out our dinner. Little things like not putting dressing for salad on the side as requested to , letting us sit for a long time between salad and entree before they were brought. There was a foursome in the booth behind us that had constant attention from one of the managers, perhaps friends of his, and in turn, constant attention from our waitress while we sat and waited for just, basic stuff, like more bread, or refills on water or wine. The manager never looked at us once, even being in such close proximity to ask us how we were doing, how anything was. Our food, though very tasty, had a light film on it, as if it had sat for a long time before she thought to bring it, and our request for more bread never was fulfilled, while great attention was given to the foursome behind when asking the flavors of gelato. Right down to leaving a serving tray right next to my husbands booth seat throughout most of our meal that was used to deliver our popular neighbors meals. At one point, I had to flag her down because she had been standing at another table talking for several minutes before I could get her attention for a drink refill for our son. She came over and said sorry, she was trying, despite the fact that she had been walking away totally when I had flagged her, not coming towards us. When she finally brought back our bill and change, she told us she thought he gave her too much, and then walked away. No questioning of how our meal was, not a thank you. After my husband slipped past the tray left by his booth seat, we walked by the hostess who simply said, "goodbye", no "thank you for coming", no"come back soon". Another side note, the staff were sitting out in the parking lot at the end of the building in full view of customers smoking and talking, alongside of one of the managers/owners. Classy. The bread was great, the food was super good despite the neglect film over the top of it, but the service makes me not really want to come back. We spent a good amount of money there too. Their loss,

Yelp
Called an order in, the person who picked up did not listen at all. Had to repeat myself on things I clearly ordered, ended up cancelling the order all together. Have ordered take out once before, main dish (lasagna) was cold in the middle, cheese was barely browned. Not impressed at all, horrid interaction by the FOH call-in, with not going back.

Yelp
I was thrilled when I heard that Antonio's was going to open near me. This location opened in late April so it's still fairly new. The service here is very professional and prompt. Every single meticulous detail is covered. The food, especially the cannoli, is fantastic. Currently, they are open mostly for dinner but my waiter said that they might open for lunch during the weekdays. There's a capacity of approx. 100 people--smaller than the other Antonio's but not really "piccolo". They share a 40-space parking lot with a neighboring State Farm office. I thought that it was bold to open an Antonio's across the street from another popular Italian restaurant.

Yelp
The food is always delicious. They have THE BEST homemade bread around. They always have good lunch specials.

Yelp
We've been to the other Antonio's and have always enjoyed the experience. This location just has awful service. It started with the hostess whom I had to prod to seat my wife and I even though there were plenty of clean, empty tables. We never did get any attention from a server before we became tired of waiting and walked out. All it would have taken was an acknowledgement that we were there and that she would be right with us. Is that too much to ask? Obviously I can't review the food, but at every other Antonio's the food has been excellent.

Yelp
Family Dinner for 6 tonight and Antonio's did not disappoint. The bread is amazing. Fresh, hot right outta the oven-it's perfection. Husband has lasagna, teenagers had chicken parm and cheese ravioli. My son and I shared a small margarita pizza- delicious!! Excellent service. Antonio's does not disappoint

Yelp
My husband and I decided to check out Antonio's before heading downtown for a basketball game, so we decided to sit at the bar for faster service. First we noticed how well decorated and clean the restuarant was, and the delicious looking gelato bar next to the host station. Our bartender's name was Brandy, and she was excellent!! She was very knowledgeable, fast, personable and helped make our experience there great. Theres a very good chance when we go back we will be sitting at the bar with her again. We also spoke with another employee, Sarah, who I believe was a server and she was also very enjoyable to chat with. If we come with a group of people, we will be asking for her as our server. We ordered the Calamari Limone and Veal Parmigiana with marinara sauce, as well as a glass of their house Chianti. The Chianti was great, much better than most "house wines" we have ordered from many other places. I meant to ask the brand so we can purchase some for home. The Calamari Limone was absolutely incredible. Thick, fresh squid steaks with just the right amount of breading, and the combination of the lemon, garlic and capers that made the sauce was just perfect. I was blown away by this dish, and honestly my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The pasta is made in house, and you can tell the difference between homeade and regular dry pasta, even if you're not a "foodie". It was cooked perfectly and very flavorful, which really added to the dish. The Veal was amazing, with just the right amount of breading (which also tasted wonderful as well), and the sauce was some of the best marinara I have had, it's very obvious it was homeade as well. I can honestly say I believe this was the best Veal Parmigiana dish I have had at any restuarant in the Metro Detroit area.. Which says a lot, considering it is a dish I order frequently at almost any Italian resturant. By the time we were done with our meal, we had no room for dessert- but after learning that their gelato is also homeade, made at another one of their locations and brought over fresh, we had to get some to-go. The flavors change weekly, my husband got the blueberry and I chose hazelnut. It is some of the best gelato we have ever had, and theres a good chance we will be frequently stopping in for it rather we are stopping to done or not. We also spoke to several of the patrons sitting at the bar with us and learned that they are weekly regulars- and I completely understand why. I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant where I was so satisfied with every aspect of the dining experience. It hasnt even been 24 hours since we ate at Antonio's, but we have already recommend them to several people. We will definitely be back soon, and frequently.

Yelp
If you haven't tried this restaurant you are missing out , the pasta is homemade right there in the vestibule , and there is no better taste - it's amazing, and don't get me started on the pizza! This is the best ( and I won't say probably) it IS the best pizza I have ever had with the perfect authentic crust, amazing pizza sauce and fantastic cheese / toppings. I highly suggest for any amazing Italian dishes or just a fantastic restaurant and amazing service you stop by and try it !!! You will not regret it

Yelp
The hostess Jennifer was rude on the phone while taking my order and when I came to pick up the food curbside. She kept interrupting me while I was ordering over the phone, because apparently I wasn't ordering it in the correct order for her. Ok maybe just a failure to communicate. She made sure to tell me don't come until 12:30 to pick up my food. Again, ok thanks for the info. I show up at 12:30 and give her my order number. I am told it will be just 1 more minute for my food. Ok no problem. 5 minutes later she brings my food out. As I am securing the food in my passenger seat and putting my car into gear she feels the need to stop me to tell me that there is a car "waiting behind me"!?! Basically shooing me away!

Yelp
Pasta e fagioli soup had a vinegar taste. The breaded veal parmigiana was soft and not cooked enough and the breadcrumbs had a stale taste. Needed to be more crisply done. Originally, I ordered the Volle Polle , which is the Broiled Chicken dish, and the waiter came back to say that it would be too hard to make. Then I ordered the Chicken Marsala. The Chicken Marsala were some chicken pieces swimming in too much wine brown gravy. In the side dish of spaghetti with marinara, the noodles were too mushy and certainly not al dente. The marinara sauce has been a bit sour in all the Antonio's restaurants. It did not seem as authentic to the Italian style as does the Dearborn location. Going the way of Americanized Italian fast food rather than the authentic Italian food. Needs some more of Mamma Rita's tutoring. Otherwise, the service was excellent and the interior was beautiful.

Yelp
Sorry, very nice staff but wine was terrible & food not so great either. I had linguine w shrimp, just standard grocery store shrimp & heavy beef broth minestrone. I wanted to really like it but didn't turn out so well.
