Homemade carbonara was delicious. Chicken milanese was satisfying, but the cutlet could have been thinner. Appetizers were minuscule and the olive oil cake was dry.

Living in NJ and dining out constantly this is my review Visit this Sunday arrived 5pm. Server brought complimentary bread and dish of marinara sauce with about two tablespoons of goat cheese. Lookin over the menu I saw by comparison of other Italian restaurants the entrees were grossly overpriced. I wasn't going to pay their hostage entrees fees.. We looked towards the appetizers and found equally overpriced. $26.00 for 3 SMALL meatballs. They should be jailed. So in ordering the meatball appetizer to order something I asked for a teaspoon of goat cheese....waitress informs me after returning from the kitchen that it would be $5.00 additional. What I said, you served a 2 tablespoon dollop for no charge with the bread and sauce, now you want $5??? Forget it. My wife ordered the appetizer eggplant small size of course, but $26.00? People who eat here are FOOLS NOT FOODIES. Not that I ordered drinks but you can buy a bottle of liquor less then what they charge for a cocktail.

Spectacular authentic Italian restaurant!! Service was amazing!! Food was legit - veal was one of the best I have had. Antonucci did a first class job. Can’t wait to come back and get some more meatballs!!

Stopped by this place after visiting the MET and it did not disappoint. Right after you get seated, they serve you a complimentary bread basket with this marinara and ricotta bowl. Needless to say, these alone were amazing. We tried their Chicken Milanese, Carbonara, and meatballs and everything was pretty good. The Chicken Milanese was a bit underwhelming but when we paired it with the marinara, that was much better imo. Overall a great experience but it is a bit pricey tho!

Large menu to choose from. I am Italian and very particular about Italian food. You won’t be disappointed. Try the stuffed zucchini flowers and artichokes. Pasta is delicious also and the dessert choices are many and yummy. I had the tiramisu. Enjoy!

Their lunch prix fixe menu is an outstanding value. The portions are really dinner sized and excellent. This may be the best restaurant deal in Manhattan.

The food and service were good but I thought the drink prices were outrageous. $21 for a manhattan up and $24 for an espresso martini is highway robbery. I can go to real cocktail bars and pay less for drinks.

If you are looking for a traditional Italian eatery patronized by locals (most of them retired UES Italian Americans) then you’re looking at the right place. Menu is very extensive and the meat and pasta options outstanding (I have heard mixed opinions about the fish). The wine list is also extensive, and a little pricey. Only issue with the place: it is too narrow which means that it it also very loud.
