"The open kitchen is a blur of motion. Chef and kitchen team are united in creating dishes that fulfil the potential of their ingredients. To dispel preconceptions, the menu lists ingredients only. Their speciality onions are a lucky happenstance, a flavour created when onions got burnt by mistake. The appeal of each dish is enhanced with stories about their producing regions and encounters with their producers." - Michelin Inspector

This was an outstanding experience. The craftsmanship of the dishes is remarkable. A surprising moment was the third course was onion cheesecake which was sweetened only by the caramelization of the onion. The service was extremely attentive and we enjoyed our interaction with them. The space is beautiful and the experience was intimate. The price was reasonable for such a fine quality experience.

This is the best Italian-Japanese restaurant we have been in Osaka! Very cosy restaurant with delicious and refined dishes, with good wines selection. The restaurant manager was very friendly too!! Highly recommended!!

Beautiful and delicious. The wine paring is a must-do, one of my favorites in ages. Particularly appreciated the vegan meal prepared for my guest. We included his restrictions on our reservation request and did not hear back one way or the other, but when we arrived and the printed menus came out for each person they had a specialized one for him. From his feedback, it was very filling and tasty. They catered the wine paring separately as well, which was noticed and appreciated. Overall, wonderful place to celebrate. The “onion” course is beautifully undersold and highlight, but our group argued happily over which the best dish was and almost every one got a vote. Service was formal but also friendly and kind. None of us spoke Japanese and the staff made a very appreciated effort to work with our language barrier. Thanks so much to the restaurant!

The chef has a lot of passion and has so much potential, will love to see how he develops his cuisine in the future. The onion macaroon is amazing!

My partner and I visited Anu on our anniversary during our trip to Osaka. I work in the hospitality industry in America and have experienced some of the top Michelin rated restaurants in the world, and I can surely say that our dinner was sensational. The craftsmanship of each course right down to the quality of the ingredients were phenomenal. The chef and his team have presented a beautiful ever-changing, eleven-course experience that utilizes traditional Japanese ingredients to capture the delicious nostalgia of Italian cuisine. The service was impeccable in several regards, but the cherry on top was Chef Kadosaki bidding us farewell outside of the restaurant - a rare and incredibly special gesture. With time, exposure, and refinement, Anu is well on its way to earning a star.

What an amazing restaurant. From the time we walked in the service was impeccable, friendly and genuine. The sommelier's choice for the matching wines were perfect, I especially enjoyed the orange wine as I hadn't tried it before. Now for the food, the menu was inventive, using fresh seasonal ingredients, flavours were mostly French/japanese fusion and absolutely delicious. We couldn't fault anything. Although we don't speak Japanese, the sommelier, spoke a bit of English, explained the dishes, and chatted with us, and even the chef came over for a chat. As I said, service was amazing. We felt so special. Upon leaving, they called a taxi for us, and came outside to wave us goodbye. It was such a touching gesture, made us feel like family. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Exceptional experience. The kitchen view seats allow you to witness how seamlessly the staff works together in preparing every dish. The environment is elegant yet comfortable. Most of the creations proposed are Michelin star level dishes. Do not miss this, Chef Tadashi Suehiro will make a name for himself. Bravissimo, ci vediamo New York!
