Anvil Brewing Co

On a recent trip to Mansfield my son and I went to the Anvil Brewery. The food was amazing and great servings. We had as entree each and a main. The food was amazing, great service from the staff and friendly. Love the Anvil larger, it did go down very easy. On our way back from the snow I asked my son what would you like to have for dinner be for heading home? He said “let’s go back to the Anvil and have pizza “. So we did. Really beautiful wood fire pizza, my only negative maybe a little too much cheese. Would highly recommend going for a meal, I know I’ll be back.

I finally found a new favourite restaurant in Mansfield… The food here is great! Skip the pubs and come here instead. Pizzas are great, the Barramundi was great. Suggest making a booking for dinner during peak ski season.

We went there during Easter weekend and even though they were packed, the service was great, food was amazing and the coffee was the best in town. Would highly recommend. Will visit again… 😊

Fantastic Brewery with Delicious Food and Great Atmosphere. Anvil Brewery Co in Mansfield was a fantastic brewery! The food menu, drinks on offer, and venue were all top-notch. They have some very tasty beers and also some guest taps on offer. If beer is not your thing, they have cocktails, wine, soft drinks, and coffee. The food was restaurant-style, not the typical brewery menu. The highlights for me were the Beef Skewers, Garlic Pizza, BBQ Chicken Pizza, and Chicken Wings. Not to mention the dessert! Delicious to say the least. The venue has so much to offer, with the main bar and restaurant, beer garden bar, the upstairs pool room bar, and balcony. The artwork and decor add to the Anvil theme. The staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. If you are in Mansfield, Anvil Brewery Co is a must.

Looking for a place to eat we walked into this cozy looking restaurant. Extremely happy with what we found. Friendly staff, that were never hovering with the usual “Is everything alright here?” Wonderfully quick service and a meal that was divine. As you can see every morsel gone from my plate. I highly recommend the mushroom sauce.

Chicken wings with Buffalo sauce, definitely up there with the best I've tried and I opt for them so many times. Lamb souvlaki pizza, hamds down the best of it's kind. Great staff and great service. Definitely worth a visit. I shall be coming back when I'm next in Mansfield. Relatively busy on a Thursday evening, but with a quiet ambience, perfect for a lone customer.

My husband and I had to wait 45-50 mins plus for our meals to arrive. I ordered a pizza and my husband ordered soup. After half an hour, my husband went to the bar and asked how much longer it was going to take before our meals would be served. The upstart waitress said within 10 mins. She walks by us serving others and I said it’s now 15 mins since you said the meals will arrive. She made some lame excuse there was a big group before us that had to be served. I said why hasn’t the soup been served yet. She rolled her eyes and said sorry with a smirk on her face that had more piercings than a pin cushion. The sight of her face made me feel I was part of a horror movie. When the food arrived, my pizza dough was uncooked. See photos. I ate some of the crusts and left the rest. Unfortunately you had to pay up front before you receive your meal. We left hungry, totally disappointed and angry. Also the place had concrete floors which amplified people’s voices and the sound of utensils on metal dishes. I felt I was in a prison.

Absolutely brilliant Experience. I just wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful experience at your restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, courteous, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. It’s rare to find such a perfect combination of great food and outstanding hospitality. Thank you for making our visit so memorable. We’ll definitely be back and will happily recommend your restaurant to others!
