A+O Restaurant | Bar

We were celebrating my daughter’s college graduation. Our party of 7 included my 4 year old, we arrived and first great experience was the friendliness of the valet attendants, right away opened the door for my wife and kids as well as for me and guided us in the right direction to the restaurant. Since the restaurant is in the “Balboa Bay Resort” we walk into the lobby to be greeted with a smile by concierge desk which also were kind enough to continue guiding us to the restaurant. Once at the restaurant our host Josh was amazing offered either inside or patio seating, we chose patio which has fire pit and amazing marina yacht views. Our server Patrick took really good care of us from start to finish. Our appetizers clam chowder, crab dip, and our main dishes were Chilean Sea Bass, Pasta, Sandwich, and chicken tenders for my little one. Food was delicious and plentiful. Overall will be coming back and recommending it to my friends and family. Thank you

Dinner steak and potatoes served cold. Asked for a to go item as dinner was cold and it took 15 minutes to get it after they comped it. Must say though, The peach cobbler that was comped was the best part of the meal.

Excellent service, lovely views enhanced by sunny striped umbrellas, delicious food and well-crafted cocktails.

great ambiance / location , the food half half the service was slow but in general we love the place as it’s on the beach directly. And the stuff were nice as well.

Visited on a Tuesday afternoon for a birthday celebration. It was a little chilly outside but they have heaters. This is perfect option for a summer day to enjoy the Marina. I had the Mac and cheese which was outstanding. The hamburger was also good. But the Mac and 🧀 again was very cheesy and very good you have to try it 😋

Wonderful restaurant in a wonderful location. Brunch on the patio is a must!

I've been to A+O Restaurant | Bar a few times now and I've always had a great experience. The food is a little bland but still delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is very inviting. I recently went there for dinner with a friend and we all ordered different things. I had the Strawberry Summer Salad, with the request to make it vegan. The salad was fresh and flavorful, but I did find it a little bland. I would recommend asking for a few different dressings to try to make it more exciting. My friend ordered the Ceviche, and enjoyed the raw fish cured in fresh citrus juices, and thought the seasonings, julienned red onions, salt, and cilantro were perfect to her liking. Here are some things about A+O : The food is delicious, The service is excellent and friendly The atmosphere is very inviting and well-maintained The views are beautiful and relaxing Live music that is fantastic and not over-powering Overall, I had a great time at A+O Restaurant | Bar and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Excellent brunch with nice view of the water. Fire pits are nice on cooler days. Wait staff is top notch.
