"Apanas Coffee & Beer, what was an Austin coffee shop with two locations in the city, is now closed. The first cafe in Rock Rose and the second on South Congress have quietly shuttered. The South Congress location at 1007 South Congress Avenue was turned into the leasing office for Cityview at Soco. Awesome little coffee and beer bar that I will visit again when I'm in Austin. The employees were easy to talk to, they allowed us to sample beers before we committed to one and prices for the craft beers were decent. My girlfriend isn't into craft beer but the employees helped her find one that she actually enjoyed. Thank you for the good time.

SUPER friendly and knowledgeable staff and great rotating beer selection with some of Austin's best beer nerds. Coffee is really great, too; pourovers and drip, plus good espresso. I think they have a direct connection with a South American farm, so very individualized thought and attention towards quality. Terrific chill vibe and fun events.

Excellent coffee (get a pour over). A large and well curated tap list. Friendly staff. Great music. And a wider variety of food options than I was expecting (though a gluten free pastry would be a nice addition). Basically, what I'm saying is if I started a new business for myself tomorrow it would be Apanas.

Very similar to it's other location in the domain, but with noisier outdoor seating as it's right on Congress. But that makes it very accessible from downtown, just a short bike ride away. Good coffee, cortado, and happy hour specials for it's good beer menu.

Hip, cute place with ample seating - tables and communal benches. Staff is friendly and coffee drinks are yummy. They also serve food/dessert options for a well rounded coffee break or place to plunk down and do some work with free WiFi. Quiet and trendy place. Worth checking out.

Fun coffee shop on Congress with coffee and local draft beers on tap. Ample room inside and small patio outside from which you can watch the Congress traffic. Games are available to check out and help pass the time while sipping a drink. Worth checking out!

Service is great, most of the staff is very personable. Their beer selection is great and full of Texas brews, and their sandwiches are amazing. I only wish that they also had soup.

Cute coffee shop down South Congress with space for studying and a lot of outlets, free WiFi, and a nice selection of coffee, tea, juices, and beer. Plus they've got fun stuff like trivia night, beer pong competitions, and board games like Catan for groups to enjoy.
