We stayed at the Heron Hotel in Old Town Alexandria in August of 2025 & were completely satisfied. The staff were always enthusiastic, courteous and friendly. The room was clean & comfortable and we especially appreciated the quality of the retro-contemporary clean look of the entire hotel. Plus we enjoyed the great views from the roof top bar.

Stayed at the Heron in Alexandria VA. The room reeked of a disgusting smell that made it nearly unbearable to stay in. I reported it immediately, and Zane promised to follow up—but it’s been over a week and I haven’t heard a single word. Zero accountability, zero professionalism. This hotel is a joke, and clearly doesn’t care about its guests. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else.

Does anybody work at headquarters??? There is 0 responses with any provided emails/phone numbers on the Aparium website. I’d appreciate if anyone could reach out regarding over $300 in gift card funds that cant be used.

Went to one of their hotel locations in Kansas City, MO called the Crossroads Hotel. While I was there on a business trip my camera was stolen while I was checking out. I don’t appreciate having my property stolen and no reimbursement for my camera (Canon G7X Mark 3) being stolen from me. Management was no help and now I have to purchase a new camera out of my pocket. The lack of concern and fake apologies does not make up for the fact I was violated by someone stealing something I worked hard to get. Absolutely disgusted on how the whole situation was handled. I’m pretty sure if I was the wedding photographer for the wedding they had that day and her camera came up missing they would have moved mountains to locate it but I don’t expect the same level of concern when your of a certain demographic.

Great hotel...design is aesthetically Pleasing and just plain comfy . Front desk men were a little ditzy and unfocused but came thru finally. Jennifer gets the I WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN AWARD. Good staff. Fun place.

What a bunch of evil people. They're taking over a building in Memphis, evicting a family from the building that owns a condo in that building and suing them for over a hundred grand. Garbage people. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE MONEY.

Aparium still owes me for electrical repairs made months ago during the renovations to the Hu in Memphis. No response to multiple attempts to reach payables.

Only care about the mighty $$. Any corporation that is okay with throwing a family out of their home of 20 years (including 2 babies) won’t get my business.
