Aparthotel Restaurante Meseguer

Modern apartments on road coming into town. Free parking in garage across the street. Comfy beds, huge space , great AC! Breakfast included. Fortunately we arrived while the door to the restaurant was open. If you arrive after hours, they will send you the codes to get into the building and your room. One small negative, in my opinion, would be the shower plexiglass wall in the bathroom is too short and water goes all over the place.

We loved this hotel. Our rooms were not a single room, it was a huge apartment with kitchen, fridge, oven, entertainment center, a solid table to eat on. Anything we needed was available and even more. The shower was super nice and the beds were very comfortable.||||The only problem is that when we arrived in Alcaniz we were immediately aware of the Mesenguer private parking, but we couldn't find the hotel. A nice man asked us if we were looking for the Meseguer. It was on the other side of the street, about 7 houses down.||||When we got there, it asked us to phone with our cellular phone, as no one was there. Within 2 minutes someone very friendly met us. He helped us park our car and showed us our way to our apartment.||||Breakfast was delicious! It is served at the main floor and it offers many cold and warm options. All delicious!||||This is a hotel who cares for its patrons. Such a friendly staff!

On the outskirts of the town. This hotel was beautifully kept with modern conveniences. Parking garage is across the road but space was limited as there was a function at the hotel. We parked in a car park next to the police station at no charge. We walked into the old town and had a lovely glass of wine in a bar in the town centre. We did however have trouble finding a restaurant and the cafe at the hotel closed in the evening so we eventually bought food and cooked it in our room. Rooms are very modern with ample cooking facilities and full size fridge. Breakfast was included in the price and was very good. The only drawback is that there is no outside space, just a small balcony. The Owner was friendly and helpful and took us to our room, helping to take our luggage and explaining the amenities etc. Great for an overnighf stop!

Apartment is modern and funky with all the facilities you need and a great bathroom. It was very clean. There is no outdoor space though - just a little balcony. Owner was friendly and helpful and we thought breakfast was very good too.||There is ample street parking right outside and a secure garage across the road - all no charge.||It is approx 10-15 minute walk to the old town||Alcaniz is worth a visit - very friendly little town with some nice local bars and tapas places||We were only passing through between Morella and Teruel but this was a great choice for an overnight stop - very good value too

Update 2023: We´ve just been back and, although the price of the weekday set lunch menu has increased which is logical, the quality is as good as ever. There´s still so much choice that it´s difficult to choose! My baby broad beans with fried bacon in a fresh tomato sauce; 'toasted' (as requested) lamb chops and a homemade dessert were all excellent. Meseguer is Michelin Recommended for the third year in a row. 2021: Excellent quality and value as always. The set weekday lunch with lots of choice and generous portions is a bargain @ 15.50€. It´s always a pleasure to return to Meseguer, now in its 4th generation....

Superb place to stay in Alcaniz, great restaurant and friendly staff. Secure parking opposite, 10 minutes from the circuit, Motorland Aragon and a lovely walk to the old town. Great in every aspect. Can't wait to stay here again.

Meseguer Hotel is situated on the edge of Alcaniz, but it is very near to the shops, bars and restaurants. It is an old building which has been tastefully modernised and provides very comfortable and modern accommodation. It has a cafe and a very busy restaurant, which unfortunately is not open during the evening. All the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, and I would not hesitate in recommending it for overnight or longer stays in the Alcaniz area.
