We spent 3 nights with my friends in the apartments. I would gladly recommend it, we were very satisfied with everything. It was very clean, and had a modern equipment. Its central location is excellent, everything is close, restaurants, breakfast bars, port, shops, sights, etc. The host, Paola, was very kind, she helped with everything and offered a lot of tips for staying here. Perfect for trips around the area!

I had a terrible experience with this Airbnb. We paid 800 euros for 4 nights, but the host claimed they never received the payment and denied us entry. They also insisted on an additional 800 euros in cash. To make matters worse, the hotel owner, Paola, has a history of scams and misconduct, as reported by the Amalfi police. I strongly advise against booking at her hotel. This was a frustrating and costly ordeal that I wouldn't wish on anyone. ❌

We spent 5 nights in June 2018. Very nice, equipped and centrally located apartments. A few days before our arrival we contact our host (Paola) to let her know that we will arrive by 10 pm because we were traveling from Firenze. She answered that the check in was only available up to 8 pm so she will not keep our booking reservation unless we agree to pay our stay 100% in cash. Her request was a problem for us because we usually don’t travel with much cash and because we can only withdraw little cash amounts per day. Also at that point it wouldn’t have been possible to find another reasonable place to stay. At our arrival our booking reservation was cancelled in the system stating that our credit card cannot be processed which was not true. Furthermore we were received and were provided with beach towels in the Amalfi Hotel whose owners apparently owned the apartments. The good thing is that we became experts ATM finders in the beautiful Costa Amalfitana.

She cancelled my booking last minute and I was left with no where to stay with no answer from her…AVOID! Edit: This is the host ‘trick’ on how to cancel without her looking bad. She first messaged me to pay in cash when we arrived (that’s ok , no problem). Then she started saying my card isn’t valid when we agreed to pay in cash however my card was indeed valid on booking.com it’s the card I always use for all bookings an never had an issue. I would avoid these apartments. Don’t fall into the same trap and be left with nothing in the end.

We couldn't speak highly enough of our apartment. ||Our room was in the heart of the town, 5 min walk from the bus terminal, and our host Paola helped us with everything we needed. ||||She organized for us to attend a free tour of the town with local host Michelangelo, who left us feeling a sense of connection to the town which beforehand we knew about. ||||Our newly refurbished apartment, including brand new bathroom was VERY clean - something that's a high priority on my list. ||Even though we were in the heart of the town we didn't have any noise so we had a lovely sleep. ||||We would definitely recommend this accommodation and would love to come back ! ||||Thank you ! :)

AVOID booking this location unless you want to have your stay cancelled last minute, possibly even after you have actually arrived at the property. Our stay was booked many months in advance - confirmation number provided, booked through BookingDotCom, and communicating with the property owner. Account used cards that were used for dozens of other stays booked at the same time, but this property owner decided to wrongfully cancel reservation only a few days before the stay, wrongfully claiming multiple times that the payment method failed, even when Booking and the credit card company reaffirmed that there was no issue with any charges, nor any attempted charges on the account. When we attempted to contact the property owner multiple times via phone, we were met with hostility after dozens of calls going straight to a busy line. This is very much a scam, listen to the other reviews as well, you are liable to get stranded at the front door with no way in, in one of Italy's most expensive areas. The property owner seems to be responding to other reviews, trying to claim that there were extenuating circumstances, blaming the renter's card. This is very clearly not the case, and is being used as an excuse for their ruse. I would guess they're cancelling people's stays to rebook them at a higher cost during the peak season, using the excuse of "failed payment" to bypass booking companies host cancellation limits, instead making the customers take the blame. AVOID.

We are currently staying in The Diamanté apartment! The apartment is clean and has all of the items that we need to be comfortable. Paula greeted us upon our arrival and walked us to the apartment to show us how to work everything. She gave GREAT advice on local attractions and how to best navigate them. We are celebrating our anniversary and my birthday so she gave us a bottle of limoncello made by her family and prosecco to help celebrate the occasions. The apartment couldn't be in a better location! We are in the center of it all. It would be almost impossible to find on your own so definitely go to Hotel Amalfi and you will find Paula there. We read that in a prior review and it is also in the email that Paula sends you after booking!

I booked the red apartment on booking.com for my friend and I. The host messaged and asked me to pay with cash when we get there (that was ok with me , no problem). The host then cancelled my booking a short time before we were to check in leaving us with no accommodation. This is a ‘trick’ they use by saying that your credit card is invalid so they can cancel free and put the blame on you. ||I’m not sure why they were even trying to use the card as they requested cash, however, the card I used was indeed valid it’s my card I always use and has sufficient funds. This is a tactic that they use to cancel bookings and ruin people’s holidays. ||I messaged them on booking.com, WhatsApp and email and got no reply from the host anywhere even blocked on WhatsApp…scammer avoid at all costs!
