Aperitivo

We come to town frequently to visit our folks and I’ve been wanting to try this place! Purchased two of the tea sandwich trios trying all of the flavors but the egg salad. They were all so good!!! Also tried the Prosciutto kisses, strawberry crostinis, sun-dried tomato pesto pasta and natures’s candy! Thoroughly enjoyed it all!!! Delicious. Everyone was very friendly! Will have to try again sometime soon. Will have to try the egg salad next time!

Beautiful place. Extra friendly staff. Great, quiet place to hang out while eating brunch/lunch type food. Playing light, soft music gives it an even more relaxing atmosphere. Have a glass of wine while eating the most beautiful charcuterie setup. In these pics, you see perfection along with a cracker box (also perfection) making this place “portable” as well.

Me and hubby just moved to Abilene and we tried this place today it’s so cute on the inside and it’s not too expensive either I would definitely come back I got the salad and my hubby got the Rueben. Staff was friendly and attentive. 💕

I like the food here. It’s like a deli cafe lounge. I go for the sandwiches not for the charcuterie which is their specialty. They are a little pricier than I like to pay for some of the items on their menu, but I do go sometimes. I like really like their London fog drink and chicken salad sandwiches. They are very attentive and customer friendly. I highly recommend checking this place out. Love, Peace, Kindness, Happiness, Blessings

Boy Howdy is Aperitivo DELISH! We have been here many times and the food and service is top notch. Sue is such a ray of sunshine every time we come in and all of the staff is so polite and welcoming, feels like coming over to a life long friends house every time we walk in. I highly suggest trying the Italiano sandwich, the meat is very tasty and the veggies are super fresh. Their boards are amazing as well. I would give 6 stars if I could!

Beautiful, creative, and fresh meals and energy - and the warmest welcome! We felt back at home in France. A small business worth showering with love! Our meal began with a surprise amuse-bouche and dragonfruit aqua fresca. The strawberry jalapeño basil appetizer was a lovely and unique blend of flavors and textures. My only critique would be to toast the bread a bit further so the strawberry juice doesn’t make it soggy while I’m savoring the other slices. We ordered the club, with the recommendation from a kind regular customer next to us to replace the chips with fruit. It was enormous! The fruit was plated like a charcuterie board, crisp, and full of flavor. We were so stuffed that we decided to take our lemon cake with us on the road for a picnic. We can’t wait! One of the delights was listening to the owners communicate with their employees. They were so kind, eager to teach and encourage, and patient through the lunch rush. Apperitivo was a delightful surprise on our road trip. We wish the owners all the best on their dream for this restaurant.

Would recommend Aperitivo for all your lunch / Charcuterie needs! We had a wonderful experience. Food was delicious and so fresh. Owners were helpful and kind. It was obvious they wanted to make our visit enjoyable. Homemade pimento cheese sandwich was delicious. And homemade chicken salad. They have great gluten free bread / cracker options

Fantastic food! Aperitivo was open two years before I ever tried it. They specialize in charcuterie boards, but they also have a lunch menu, of salads and sandwiches. The Caprese hamburger, which is only featured on Friday and Saturday, is the absolute best hamburger I have had in I don't know how long. Whatever they season this burger with, the taste is out of this world. On my second visit, my nephew and I ordered the club sandwich and the Reubenato. Both sandwiches were excellent. On my third visit, I ordered two of the small charcuterie boards for my wife and I. The charcuterie boards are a little on the pricey side, but they do have quality ingredients. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday there is a lunch special, which is a sandwich and chips for $7.99. The dining room is very laid-back and comfortable and there is soft music playing. You should definitely give Aperitivo a try!

Great lunch spot! Nice, Comfy seating w cafe music! Fresh and delicious food for charcuterie orders or catering! A great neighborhood addition to dine in and wind down, as well. Alex always has a special to surprise and delight! Today I went in, to find an Egg and Beet Salad Sandwich with fresh fruit and berries! Delicious!!

Excellent fresh foods and drink. Picked it for Linda while she drove. Small and very comfortable.

Stopped in for the amazing club sandwich we saw online. We were happy we did!! The lemon basil chicken salad sandwich was also delicious. I lucked out with dollar mimosas, perfect combo! Its small interior is not an issue when you're enjoying a great meal with wonderful staffing. The owner is ready to ensure you are well taken care of. On our way out I picked up a charcuterie box for 2, also added on the cracker box! Quality meats and cheeses, yum. We Definitely recommend this spot. You can always order to go if needed.

Amazing menu with very unique choices for Abilene. We had a lemon dill chicken salad sandwich and a club sandwich . Both were delicious! We also had Lattes and we both agreed it was the best fancy coffee we've had! The restaurant is adorable and comfortable. We had great service.

3 stars because of the pricing. The staff (owner) is super nice and welcoming. You can tell he really has a passion for his food. Everything is very fresh has a clean taste to it. Highly recommend if you aren't on a budget.

Nice quiet hole in the wall, friendly service, reasonably priced. Food and drink are excellent with one draw back there are only a with few places to sit. Enjoyed every minute we'll be back for more.

Love this place. The food is excellent, the atmosphere warm and cozy. The owner has great pride in his selections and will help you with anything you need to know. The owner was personable, quick and just plain a delight to visit with. We had the deviled eggs, a delight in pink!, yes the eggs are marinated in beet juice to give them this wonderful colour. We had the trio sandwiches, double order for 3, and was more than enough. Big fan of the cucumber. The seating is more like visiting a friend's home, just right for a light treat and a visit. We will.come back.

This place, the staff and the food is fantastic. You might think, "charcuterie shop? who needs this?" To you out there questioning whether it is worth your time, I say no... It is worth far more than just your time for Aperitivo is not the hero we asked for, but it's the hero we needed.

The best tasting, freshest sandwich that I have had in a long time. A real gem in a town that lacks great sandwiches. Great takeout/ party foods also.
