One of Pennington’s hidden gems! This adorable place may be located in a shopping center but don’t worry about that! The atmosphere is just perfect inside! The staff is friendly and inviting! Jen is amazing! The food is delicious and the drinks are just perfect! The spritzes are my favorite but there is something for everyone! Don’t miss out on the meat and cheese boards! They are a must try! Perfect for a date, girls outing or just an afternoon out! Can’t wait to go back!!!

This is a hidden gem of Pennington! Walking in, you are transported to the Amalfi coast of Italy. The decor, the thoughtful cocktails, and the delicious food are all absolutely perfect. Leah was attentive and a great bartender- the tiramisu and pistachio cannoli were to die for. Highly recommend!!

When in Pennington, This is one of our must goto’s. Jen (Mgr) is fantastic, friendly & she goes over and beyond to make you feel right at home. Her drinks are perfect. Have to try the cheese boards. Great local relaxed cozy spot that you MUST try. - Fruber

Do not go if you are expecting a welcoming environment. This is my first ever Google review, but I have never been so disappointed in an establishment, I felt compelled to write something. I went in and took a seat at the bar. There was one other couple in the place. Other than that, it was empty. I sat at the bar for 20 minutes with no service, no menu was provided. After me waiting there for 20 minutes the bar tender told me she would be right with me. I looked at her. She then proceeded to make one drink (a chocolate martini). She then came up to me and asked me very rudely what I wanted. I asked for a menu. She told me "oh you told me to hurry up and you don't even know what you want." Mind you, I never said a word to her about hurrying up. I advised her that I never even received a menu, so how could I know. (They were also out of a lot). She then told me it was best if I left. All I wanted was a glass of wine. Horrible service. Horrible establishment.

Stepping through the doors is a portal to an international destination of vibrant olive trees outlining a rustic driveway to an Italian al fresco-inspired retreat. A ritual of whetting the appetite with herbaceous bubbly cocktails and herbed small, yet enough for 2, sharable plates. The citrus-fresh vibe is so unlike anything in Pennington you are not sure where you are. But the moment you sink down into a wicker bar stool or a bistro side table you know you're not in 08534. The food is best described as sharable…don't settle for one flavor. But taste the melding of a fine olive oil (EVOO) and a delicious homemade focaccia paired with a salad, fish or fine meat. Point is…don't just get one thing, but two things (really, why stop there, except to remember there's still gelato or rum cake ahead). The delightfully fresh ingredients are served on immaculate blue rimmed plates and the servers are attentive and as vibrant as the blue bookcase decor. Bottles of Prosecco and other kinds of Italian aperitifs line one whole wall plus the backdrop of the small-space bar (the small hilltop-of-a-winery atmosphere only has room for 36 diners) while a large high top table is the center of the main area. Which would be perfect for a girls’ nite or even an office gathering happy hour. Off to the side, a small sette and coffee table is reminiscent of a place under the Tuscan sun. Not without a few date-friendly bistro tables, perfect for a cocktail or a small bite. Don't let the off the beaten path of location between a Fed Ex office and a dry cleaners deter from the unique atmosphere of this place. Aperitivo Bar is a piccolo of Prosecco-sprinkled bliss that momentarily takes you out of NJ and into the Italian countryside. And don't miss the Aperol Spritz selfie spot to remember the moment. Wow! What a wonderful and unique addition to Pennington. The drinks are phenomenal (shoutout to the espresso martini). Food is fresh and tasty and the perfect compliment to the upscale atmosphere. Lots of care and attention goes into the cocktails and food. Perfect place to gather with friends. Stacy is the ultimate hostess and makes you feel like family. Highly recommend this experience. The first review it was 1 star was never hoping that's why I put 1 star but now there r open . the have hours it's open and it's a five plus it's awesome the food is good the atmosphere lot Italian drinks the bartender she's nice sorry for the one before and .is 5 plus thank you

The ambiance was so nice and I loved the decor. I went for happy hour with my friend and loved the atmosphere. Although we didn't get a wide spread of food, the focaccia bruschetta was very good. I will definitely be coming back!
