Apollo Inn in Melbourne is a truly exceptional cocktail bar and one of the best spots in the city for drinks and atmosphere. Tucked behind studded leather doors on Flinders Lane, it feels like a hidden gem that’s worth discovering every time. I visited on a night out and enjoyed expertly crafted cocktails that showcased both classic and creative flavours. The drinks are thoughtfully made with premium spirits and house made elements, so every sip feels considered and delicious. The ambience is intimate and stylish, with dim lighting, elegant details and a vibe that feels both cozy and refined. It’s the perfect place for a special date night or a sophisticated drink with friends. Service was warm and welcoming from the moment I stepped in, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and well looked after.

Apollo Inn is a quintessentially British-style business bar—great drinks, delicious food, and excellent service. It delivers on everything a bar should do well, though be warned: weekend wait times can exceed three hours. Reservations are highly recommended.

Excellent bar. More of a martini bar although they do other drinks as well. I also had the food and it was incredible. Amazing place. Reservation is needed, it is a very small bar.

Dropped in here last night for the first time, for a pre dinner drink and what an fantastic experience! The outside is very non descript and it would be easy to pass if you weren't aware of it. As soon as you go through the inner padded doors, you are swept into a beautifully dimly lit speakeasy with a slick, but warm atmosphere that simply wraps you in it's velvet hand and draws you in. The concierge was incredibly welcoming and chatty and then the service and knowledge from the staff was outstanding. When we arrived there were no seats but we were able to stand at the bar, and then we were approached and ushered down to a couple of spare seats, without us even having to lift a finger to carry our own drinks, these were whisked down to our new seats and presented with an understated and sophisticated flourish. Definitely coming back here again. Oh, and the drinks menu and drinks themselves are nothing short of awesome.

Perfect Martini's every time. Bar staff very knowledgeable Really good TEAM of people The best intimate ambience around. Depending on customers of course but usually one doesn't have to raise your voice to be heard. Very attentive but also low key. Overall excellence.

Really enjoyed our visit to Apollo Inn with a friend - the drinks are exceptionally handcrafted. We could tell the passion that all the staff had for bringing the best drinks to Melbourne. Will definitely return.

Coffee negroni is like everything I’d ever want in a drink and the gin lemon martini situation was like an asexual drink in the best way possible. Also bella was GOATed. Great time. Great bar. Confused about the pineapple on the wall but I think it’s a spunky addition.

Ducked in for a quick pre-dinner cocktail and we were lucky enough to get a table without a booking. Such a great tiny bar, had the classic dry martini and it was absolutely fabulous. An instant favourite spot.
