Went to this lovely vineyard on a whim with our adult son. We cannot say enough great things! Spencer was wonderful and was happy to give us all the details on the owners and the history of the vineyard. The Old Vine White wine we had was delicious! We not only took home a bottle, we also bought some of the fabulous local olive oils they had on hand. Fantastic! The setting is lovely and there’s plenty of outdoor seating. And in a funny twist of fate, the background of the owners—the husband from italy and the wife Indiana—mirrors my own background. All in all we couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon! We will definitely be back!! ❤️

Google
Beautiful vineyard. Great wines. Very kind and nice staffs. Highly recommended.

Google
Lovely place to enjoy some wine by the glass, or a tasting flight. The charcuterie board was delicious! Friendly staff and a gorgeous location. A wide variety of wines, so everyone should be able to find something they like.

Google
Great wines, wonderful service! Our friends are members here and invited us to their pickup party/Easter egg hunt. With two toddlers in tow, you never know how wine tasting will go, but the Italian family hospitality never fails! In fact there were many families with younger children. The wine was wonderful and we enjoyed the range of varietals! Their charcuterie board is it of this world, so yummy! Spencer, our server, was very knowledge and polite. We love to hear about the winemaking process behind each wine. Often with children present, servers respectfully hurry their presentation, effectively skipping the winemaking portion. But Spencer patiently explained the fun details about how they make some of their Italian wines and it was everything we wanted!

Google
Amazing dog friendly winery. The folks who work there felt more like friends than staff. The wines…. We love Italian wines and you can tell there is an Italian influence in ALL the wines. The Chardonnay has depth, the Pino Noir is very solid and Nebbiolo is amazing. Do yourself a favor and try these folks out (bring the pups) well worth the quick drive. We live in AZ and will definitely order online when we’re home.

Google
Apolloni Vineyards is our favorite winery in the north Willamette wine region. They have superb Italian style wines in a beautiful pastoral setting. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable and really get to know their patrons. They frequently have fun events so check their calendar. For us, this is our favorite way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. Come out for an afternoon yourself and enjoy a glass of wine on the patio. You won’t be disappointed.

Google
Incredible experience!!! Everything was perfect. Knowledge staff, delicious charcuterie board, chocolates and the wine was so good!!! We were absolutely satisfied!!

Google
There weren't ANY wines we didn't like, and that's an accomplishment because we're particular in our tastes. The wines are all very well balanced and nicely aged, nothing raw or young. The added touches of the charcuterie and the barkuterie boards were delicious. Our pup really enjoyed his snacks while we enjoyed our wines and snacks too!

Yelp
We were transported to Italy from the moment we pulled into the lot. It's the perfect stop to or from the Oregon Coast. They offer two tasting flights; $15 standard flight & $20 premium flight. And they have an adorable dog who roams around the grounds/shop. If the weather permits, I recommend sitting outside near the bocce courts. There are patio tables and grassy areas and the views are stunning. I highly recommend Apolloni Vineyards for the ambiance and the wines.

Yelp
BINGO at a beautiful vineyard with delicious food, tasty wines, delightful other guests and a wonderful Drag Queen is how Sundays should be spent. The parking lot is much kinder than many other vineyards. I did not really see specific ADA spots which were likely full but the parking lot is small and easy to navigate with a short stroll to the tasting room. We got there later than I wanted but we were not the last and were able to tuck in seats in the back which is perfect. I was a bit surprised that they didn't have water at the tables for everyone and the menu was very small with two different paninis - a caprese and an Italian meat one.... we got one of each and then split them.Which was pretty perfect and both were really good! Their regular menu is much different and I look forward to trying it when I visit for a regular wine tasting. We started with a glass of the Rose Bubbles. It was perfect for a late summer afternoon. We drank a bottle of the Moscato Frizzante, a definite favorite. We are both hummingbirds, is in love with sweet wines. Sometimes the sweet almost assaulting on the palate. I was completely amazed at how smooth, soft yet supple that wine is! We asked to try their blends with sangiovese which they have 2. I was attending with my friends mom. My friend passed away recently and was married here so she wanted to get bottles of her favorite wines. There were 2 people working and he just set the tasting wines down (which were tiny samples in tiny wine carafes), mumbled what they were without pointing which was which and practically ran. Since we were actually drinking wine, our glasses were full so we had to drink from the carafe, which felt a bit tacky plus they are reds we were trying to actually taste... I realize drag Bingo is also happening but a tasting glass to give some aeration to the two wines is helpful. It was such a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. The few annoyances we had, I imagine were likely from them having to navigate a larger group. It is so nice having a place like this so close! I also have to express that the inclusive events make me more anxious to support them with my business.

Yelp
Very nice vineyard. The wines were good. Really like their chardonnay. The guy that was explaining the wines was knowledgeable about the wines and vineyard. Lots of places to seat down inside and out. Beautiful area.. good vibe .. def check it out.

Yelp
Went here with friends to do a tasting. It was very easy to make reservations via the online system. We opted to sit inside but their are tons of options when you make your reservation. After that visit I opted to join the wine club because of its many benefits (free tasting, special pricing, wine clubbpickups) We usually sit outside by the big tree. The tasting comes out all at once ( thanks god cause we have a toddler and I hate awkwardly waiting around). They will tell you as much or as little as you want to know about the wine. They also have charcuterie (yum) and other goodies. The truffles are yummy and the other local goods are perfect for gifts. Service is top notch.

Yelp
This is a great family owned winery right on the outskirts of Portland My wife and I were one of the first wine tasters at this place when it opened and we were glad to be back for a late lunch. Ambiance is welcoming, and the place is pet friendly and casual. It's a perfect place for an intimate wine tasting or casual chill. The views from the patio are breathtaking if you are lucky to come on a clear day. Their wine flight was $25 and has a nice blend of whites and reds...perfect for your taste buds. They bring your entire tasting flight to the table at once and give a brief rundown of the wines. Then it's up to you to proceed with pouring at your leisure. The wines are very good and affordable compared to other wineries I've been to. The staff is knowledgeable on the wines and go above and beyond to ensure you get good service. If you are hungry, they offer caprice sandwiches, Italian paninis, chocolates and a lot of other treats to munch on. You can even take a shot at bocce on their courts if you have time.

Yelp
We stopped by recently on a sunny Friday afternoon for a tasting. Nice setting, smaller venue than some, but quaint with a cute outdoor patio seating area. There are quite a few tables set up on either side of a bocce ball court with the vines on the hill behind. The service is welcoming and casual, and the place is pet friendly. A little less formal than most, they bring your entire tasting flight to the table at once and give a brief rundown of the wines. Then it's up to you to proceed with pouring at your leisure. We also requested a charcuterie board to accompany our wines. It was nice, a small sampling of crackers, two cheeses, two meats, and nuts. Everyone in our party enjoyed the experience, pretty decent wines. Friendly place for a casual tasting!

Yelp
We have been club members for years and we love this vineyard. I'm a fan of whites and my husband can do either whites or reds. When they have a good event each month the food is excellent. We love the seating and they even have bocce ball if you have the inclination. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Love and definitely recommend.

Yelp
Cute cute cute. I was so excited when driving along the highway on our way back to Portland that we saw signs for this winery. We whipped a U turn and headed back. It was a bit overcast and rainy that day, but they had a tent set up outside for those who wanted to sit out there. We opted for an inside table and they got us in no problem without a reservation. Their wine flight was $25 and was a nice blend of whites and reds. It was the perfect afternoon pick me up!
google avatar

Lori D.

Yelp
Pleasant afternoon with a beautiful view. Enjoyed the wine flight sampling! Wine varieties covered the spectrum so something for everyone. Enjoyed viewing the Cave. Would love to come back for an event!

Yelp
Wonderful experience! My wife and I chose Apolloni to be the winery for our first wine tasting with both our adult children. We tasted 6 wines, and heir pinot noir wines were excellent! We enjoyed the Pinot rosé the most on this hot September afternoon. Spencer was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back, especially on the way to the Oregon Coast from Portland.

Mark S.

Yelp
My partner and I stopped here on our way back from the coast and had a lovely experience. Shea offered great conversation and expertise, they gave a lovely overview of the history and the wines, truthfully making this a very special trip for us. Get a flight and relax!
google avatar

Elya H.

Yelp
I've been a member of this winery for a few years now and it's truly a little gem of a place. Wine is tasty, Zach, Spencer and staff are incredible and always remember me. I love they incorporated gluten-free food options in their menu too. Again, this is a gem of a winery and love it here.
google avatar

Jeannine D.

Yelp
Super cute grounds with bocce ball area, nice outdoor seating for wine tasting. We did the flight and charcuterie board. The wines were nice and reasonably priced. If you spend $50 on wine, your $25 tasting is waived.

Brooke H.

Yelp
They may have great wine but we didn't get the chance to try it. My husband and I were driving by and thought it would be nice to stop in a winery, We were greeted with "are you members? Do you have a reservation? We are busy today for a members event. There's not really many places for you to sit but maybe you can find a place" We weren't given the chance to even just order a glass of wine. We were so surprised by two different staff members telling us the same that we left. I was looking forward to trying a glass of their white Pinot noir but the staff didn't want us there. They could benefit from a better approach to non members on a members day. We couldn't even tell that it was that busy but in customer service you shouldn't share your stress with customers.

Yelp
I dont know where to start, but let me say... The staff is AMAZING and genuine! Not only is the service great, AND the view is astonishing here!!! Such a great place for dates, hangouts, or special event. The WINE... wow... delicious! Please check it out when you can. Worth every second I was there.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped off at this picturesque vineyard after seeing a sign on the road. Lots of options to taste test from bubbles to reds. I have to admit a few of the varieties I had never tried before....like Nebbiolo! We tried one of each tasting along with 2 truffle chocolates. I highly recommend the raspberry truffle! Yum! The vineyard is beautiful even in winter. They are dog-friendly which I adore. Even though we didn't find the perfect bottle match today, I can't wait to come back in Spring!

Yelp
Our party of three had a delightful lunch and wine tasting at a table next to the bocce ball court on Sunday. We had to order the panini sandwichs and a cheese board ahead of our visit. The staff greeted us and delivered the food and wine to our table. The weather was comfortable and the views good. Oh, and the wine was good. We bought a case of the on sale Pinot Noir Rose to share later as well a few other bottles.

Yelp
We've been coming to Apolloni for several years and finally decided to join the wine club. We enjoy their wines and the quaintness. The staff are always attentive and friendly. A true gem.

Yelp
Been a member here for so many years I lost count. We even got married here. It's a small family owned place. Alfredo the owner is from Italy and super nice. Everyone there is super friendly and talkative. It's like you are walking into your cousin's house. They have bocche courts, seating inside and outside, and always having some sort of event. His wife Loraine even has her own label and styles of wine. They are my favorite. Michael is a newer addition (well for an old timer like me new) and is so on top of everything it was impressive. I saw him once at the last wine pick up and my order is different than the standard. I was peeking at the different treats to grab with my wine and he runs up to me and goes you have the special order of ___. I didn't even remember him and he totally remembered me from months ago. Then he was all you need to try these that you'd like. I mean the place was full and he made time to come greet me when I wasn't even near the bar. Definitely a place to go hang out, grab wine, a snack, or bring a picnic and enjoy.

Yelp
Beautiful property and fantastic wines in a unique part of the Willamette Valley. Surrounded by forests and vineyards, this winery provides a peaceful and relaxing spot to taste through Apolloni's classic Pinot Noir and other unique varietals. The service is excellent and often the owner himself is on site to guide guests through their experience. You can even take a shot at bocce on their courts. Really fantastic wine tasting experience and well worth the trip to visit.

Yelp
i always enjoy bringing friends for wine tasting at Appolini Winery, where I am a member and we can all taste for free! it's a win win! I've spent some wonderful afternoons with family and girlfriends, doing what we all love to do...wine tasting! as one friend put it, "this winery is a little too close"! Thank you for another afternoon of great service and good wine!

AL C.

Yelp
Spent another fun day with the Apolloni folks. Alfredo has anther winner in his white Pinopt noir which will go well on those sultry, summer days that are soon upon us. The Italian varietals are always our biggest attraction and the selection of Nebbiolo, Soleggio and Sangio awakens the palate with a bang. Go there for the intimacy, brilliant winemaking and the wide smiles of Alfredo, Laurine, Spencer, Zach, Shay and the great staff!

Yelp
Love this winery! Great location, fabulous wines and dog friendly! Servers are friendly and knowledgeable!

Yelp
I love Apalloni! My partner and I have been twice and it's the perfect day date. We always leave feeling reconnected with each other, well taken care of, and happy. You have to try the charcuterie board, it's perfect for two and always features some fun chocolates! Yesterday the chocolates tasted like lemon custard it was amazing. I can't wait to come back. Thank you!!

Yelp
This is a great family owned winery. We always have an enjoyable experience. The staff is knowledgeable on the wines and go above and beyond to provide customer services

Yelp
Secluded and beautiful scenery. Fun stop on the way back from Cannon Beach. We took the back way from Cannon Beach through winding mountain roads. The winery is secluded and off the beaten path with focus on Italian wines. Tastings are $10 for five pours. Our pourer was new to the vineyard and started just a few days prior. Basically was reading off of the tasting notes and didn't have as much knowledge about the wines (but she was very friendly). Another woman with more experience was also there assisting. Unfortunately they are unable to allow tasting of all of there wines. The Chardonnay on the tasting menu was more minerally than your typical oaky/buttery chardonnays. I wanted to buy a bottle of another Chardonnay they had but was not allowed to try it. Cheese, fruit and cracker plate is set up to compliment your tasting. Sat outside enjoying a glass of their bold estate Pinot noir which was delicious. Plenty of outdoor seating and two bocce ball courts.

Sammy N.

Yelp
We 3 including two visitors from Japan enjoyed wine tasting at Apolloni Vineyard. Family staffs are very friendly. The wine of our pick was not in their stock anymore unfortunately, but we were able to get the very close one with their support luckily. We are very impressed with their high hospitality. I will definitely go back to Apolloni again with my wife sometime soon.

Susan K.

Yelp
I have enjoyed every visit to Apolloni Winery and am currently a Wine Club member. Their wines are fabulous, especially the Italian varietals. Everyone that is affiliated with the winery is wonderful, from the owners, their children to the staff that work the tasting room. I highly recommend this winery to everyone. Susan K.

Yelp
We made reservations for a group of 6 and they were ready for us upon arrival. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great cheeseboard platter and more importantly, great wine flight! Many places to sit outside. We sat next to the Bocce ball court and had a great time. Indoor seating is available. A must stop on your winery tour!

Sheryl P.

Yelp
Nicest staff! Great location So close to Portland!

Heather C.

Yelp
Amazing local Oregon wine with an Italian flavor. I joined the white wine club my first trip out. The food offerings are good and the monthly events/pairings are different and fun. Great service and the guys who staff the winery are friendly, approachable, funny, and knowledgeable. It's a beautiful but laid back place to enjoy a tasting or glass of wine.

Claudia T.

Yelp
Highly recommend stopping here. The staff here is always awesome. They are warm and welcoming on your first visit and every time after! Cute place with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Good wine and reasonably priced. They offer sandwiches and snacks too. Plus a small gift shop for unique items.

TomandLeslie L.

Yelp
We originally went to this small winery because of its Italian roots, and we returned and joined the wine club because of its wonderful owners and staff. The wine is delicious and reasonably priced. The winery itself is in a beautiful setting, including lots of outside seating for nicer weather, and best of all, bocce courts!

Becky N.

Yelp
Always a great time - the environment is serene and the staff is welcoming and aiming to please. I love their special events! Worth being a member. Love the Rose and Reds. Must try the Nebbiolo if you are a red lover! The sparkling roses are a treat.

Debbie J.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time over the Memorial Day weekend! Zach was a great host and very personable and knowledgeable about the wine selections. We had the wine flight and I loved the 2018 Pinot noir estate and the 2020 Pinot Grigio. Excellent! We were able to sit in the backyard patio and it was very cool and comfortable near the waterfall pond. Can't wait to return!

David H.

Yelp
Had a great time, great wine and great service. We'll be back. Dave.

Yelp
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this winery!Beyond the delicious Italian style wines, there is a heart in the winery that is beyond measure! Laurine Apolloni, owner and Jennifer Poff, Manager, made a special day memorable for my family. We pulled off a beautiful surprise engagement party for my daughter with the help of this amazing winery! The care and love they gave us along with the generosity and kindness in preparing for this magical moment will be held dear in our hearts for a lifetime! Yes, come to this winery for the amazing wines! Keep coming back for the hospitality, the kindness, the joy, and the love. You are family here! Thank you Jen and Laurine for making a special day come to life for our family.

Yelp
Always a great experience going out to Apolloni and sampling their wines. We've been a club member for years. Informative and gracious staff!

Robin B.

Yelp
Love this intimate family winery! It is our favorite wine club! We enjoyed delicious Italian paninis and some excellent wines on our last visit. They are always cordial and the atmosphere is so comfortable. The wines are very good and affordable. I discovered them when I ordered a glass of red at a downtown Portland restaurant. So impressed, I looked them up and you should too!! You won't regret it
google avatar

J. A.

Yelp
Always a fan of red blends, the 2006 Soleggio rocked my socks. A smooth mix of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cab Sauv that keeps me wanting more, more, MORE! I'll be back for the chocolate pairing they'll be hosting around Valentines Day. By the way, the ice wine style Viognier was great as well...and I don't dig dessert wine.

Razvan M.

Yelp
This winery is incredible! From the amazing wine, to the beautiful scenery, to the personalized customer service, you cannot afford to miss visiting this gem of a place! Special kudos to Spencer and Zach who rock the house!

Dustin G.

Yelp
Skip this vineyard if you're wine tasting. The flights are unreasonably expensive at $25/ per flight of 6. You have to spend $50 PER FLIGHT to get them comped. They bring out a bunch of bottles instead of the presentation per pour so your wine is warm by the time you drink the last samples. Venue is nothing special. . Ive been to much nicer wineries in the WV with more reasonable prices. For what it's worth the wines were pretty good, but I wasnt in the mood to pony up $100 to get my money's worth.

Tracy S.

Yelp
The wine is fantastic Spencer and the team there really take care of you. We highly recommend visiting Apolloni Vineyards
google avatar

Courtney K.

Yelp
Super friendly staff and delicious wines! Family friendly and dog friendly. Apolloni vineyards will be a regular stop for us!

Dan N.

Yelp
Decent weather for late-February (i.e "not raining") so my wife and I decided to scoot out of the house and take in a few local wineries. One of our stops was Apolloni Vineyards. I really like Italian reds so naturally I was looking forward to some of Apolloni's offerings. I wasn't disappointed. They had a Sangiovese that was just fantastic, and I believe the other was a Soleggio that was quite good as well--nice and smooth but definitely had that Italian "feel" to it. The icing on the cake was an ice-style Viognier. I've never been much a Viognier fan, but they absolutely hit it out of the park with this one. If you're a lover of sweet white dessert wines, don't pass this one up. Wife wound up batting her eyes at me and I caved--took a bottle of it home. $5.00 tasting fee, waived if you buy a bottle. Great place. We'll be back with friends.

Cheri E.

Yelp
Service is always outstanding, and we enjoy the variety of red and white wines. The tasting room manager, Spencer, takes time to explain each new release and is always entertaining! Never disappointed in our visits to Apolloni Vineyard.

Kayla D.

Yelp
Zach was a pleasure! His cats are adorable, he has great music taste, and the wine was good too. When we come back to Portland, we'll definitely stop by Apolloni again! We liked the Olivia & Ruby Pinot Noirs. #GreenDay

Debbie O.

Yelp
An afternoon at Apolloni Vineyards for Ash Wood-fired Pizza and a flight of Oregon wines was a real treat. The 2018 Estate Pinot Noir was our favorite. We enjoyed a view of the hillside vineyard from our table next to the bocce ball court; met another springer spaniel; and had a relaxing family outing in a breezy, beautiful setting.

Rebecca V.

Yelp
Great wine and great staff! I've been a member for a few years now and always have an enjoyable experience. It's been a great haven during COVID, being able to sit outside and enjoy the scenery while sipping on amazing wine. The wine just keeps getting better! Spencer and Zach are always welcoming and do a great job attending to all their patrons even when bombarded with impromptu customers.
