Wonderful choice for a family of 3 at the heart of Chamonix Mont-Blanc! The room was equipped with high-end appliances and ample pots, pans, plates etc for those who cook. As we were celebrating my husband's birthday, we were given 2 bottles of wine for our stay! It was such a lovely surprise!!! The staff were amazing! Very friendly and accomodative. Location was great. Near bus stop that gets u to the ski lifts via bus. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Heating of the room was very good. We were able to control the temperature easily ourselves. I highly recommend!

First time in Chamonix. Really enjoyed this hotel. Super friendly staff. Nice room rooms. Great location. Just a couple of blocks from all the action in the city center. The breakfast buffet is really good and we really liked the bar area to hangout and grab a drink. There’s a nice ski shop inside the hotel. The bus stop to Brevent is right outside the hotel.

Good location near bus station and near midi station to catch cable car. And not a far walk into their town. We were on the top floor where it is angled. The bedroom was fine, nice view out of our window, bed was great. Thermostat for heat was easy to use. ||What we did not like was the shower. Because of the angle, the ceiling is low right at the shower head. I'm only 5'2" and could barely wash my hair. My husband who is 5'11" had a hard time bending to wash his hair. And the glass door is very small so water spills out. You get bathrobes and slippers for the spa area. The whirlpool is jus warm, needed to be hotter, but still nice to use. Nice pool, people were doing laps. I just dipped before whirlpool. ||The bar was nice, lots of sofas to sit on and they'd bring you your drink. The breakfast wasn't good, watery eggs and coffee just doesn't taste good from those machines. Make reservations thru the room phone for Akashon restaurant, food is unique and VERY good. You can make reservations ahead of time on website, but we wanted 7pm and it said it was not available. I called thru the room phone and got 7pm with no problem, same day. We didn't like the food from the other restaurant. I had grilled shrimp with yellow squash spaghetti that tasted bad and made me sick. But other people were getting some cheese melting meal that seemed to be popular.

I would give this hotel a rating of 4.5, I thought it was in a great location right next to the Téléphérique Aiguille du Midi attraction. The hotel is within walking distance to all the restaurants. The spa was amazing and a must do if you are visiting. The spa has a cold room with actual snow. They have free coffee and water available in the lobby. You must call to reserve parking ahead of time. This was a bummer for us as we didn’t know, but lots of parking across the street. The room was modern but nothing special. That being said, our daughter loved it due to the bunk beds. Overall, I would stay here again if I came back.

Only after booking on Booking.com you will understand that, despite the free cancellation, you have to pay 50% of the value of your reservation as a deposit in order for your reservation to be confirmed by the hotel. +++ Thomas, Booking.com is an intermediary platform where the hotel, i.e. you fill in all the information about your conditions, and the responsibility for the published information is yours, not Booking's, since you decide if you will require a deposit, and not them. Anyway. It is not mentioned anywhere on the booking page of your hotel that you require 50% deposit to guarantee the reservation. I understood it only after the reservation was made. Moreover, the link you are sending for the deposit payment is not linked to Booking, making it more than suspicious, given the increase in scams. So "Do you not think there is someting wrong in that?" and since when summer is "very high season" in a ski resort? I travel a lot using booking reservations and I know my rights. So you are the exception, not the other hotels, and that is why I am warning people with my post. Specifically, the problem is not that you want a 50% deposit, but that you have not described that it will be requested as guarantee of the reservation.

Great hotel and facilities although they did run out of beer one night in the bar !!!! Rooms adequate and cleaned everyday ||Location ok. Chamonix one of those places whereby you need to grab a bus to the slopes but we paid for cabs

A perfect hotel for the adventurer! The front desk staff was very accommodating and went the extra mile by putting my bags in my room before it was even ready. The extras of a coffee bar and sparking water station plus a temporary gelato station were also pleasant surprises. Plus, it was pleasantly quiet outside so you could leave the balcony door open to sleep, a big bonus compared to comparable hotels nearby.

What a great experience at this hotel! Just got back from a 3 night stay in Appartement Lucy at Hotel Heliopic. Best of both worlds as you get the convenience and amenities of the hotel with the privacy and space of a private apartment. Staff at the hotel were very kind and helpful. Lovely decor, very clean, nicely appointed kitchen, fantastic location near cable car and main street. Super walkable area. I wish the beds had a top sheet bc the duvet was very thick and warm so we got a little hot at night. Room service brought some on request. Washer/dryer combo is a little difficult to use, would have been nice to have some instructions. Otherwise, we had an amazing vacation and would definitely recommend!
