The 11 Best Child-Friendly Restaurants In London - London - The Infatuation

"This little Monmouth Street cafe has a special place in our hearts. Not because the food is going to blow you away, but because it’s so reliable. Need a lunch spot you don’t have to book in advance? Sorted. Need somewhere quiet for an intimate catch-up in Covent Garden? This is the place. And that also counts when you add a mini human to the equation. It’s a spacious spot which means you won’t feel awkward about rocking up with a pushchair, and it’s always relatively quiet on weekdays which makes it a useful place to have in your back pocket. You’ll find solid versions of things like shakshuka and an aubergine and tomato pasta. Come for the convenience, and stay for the velvet sofas, relaxing environment, and tasty food." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager

An ordinary breakfast experience. The shakshouka was okay, and I didn’t enjoy the Biscoff coffee that much. However, the staff were welcoming and nice. I might give it another try with a group to try more dishes and hopefully have a better overall experience.

Cute cafe, 100% would recommend booking if you are planning to go as the queue is out the door otherwise. The presentation of the food was amazing. They rotate signature pancakes but they looked far too indulgent so went for something savoury. The flatbread has a really good flavour. The chicken burger was ok. They have a lot of options on the menu and for drinks also.

A very pretty brunch spot and less busy than the Covent Garden branch. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and managed to get a table after about a 15mins wait. It can get busy, which also explains why they try to turn the tables around quick and gave us the bill once we had finished the food. It's understandable. Food was great, portions were good and had a variety of brunch to choose from. I know the pancakes were popular but didnt order it because I knew we wouldn't be able to finish it. Maybe they could make a "smaller" version to accommodate. There are a variety of drinks to choose from too. You'd be inclined to go back and try other stuff on the menu. The restaurant itself is very pretty but the lighting is very yellow.

One of the most amazing and delicious restaurants I’ve ever visited. The food quality is exceptional, the customer service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is both beautiful and spacious. A special thanks to the manager, who is always present, supervising everything, and greeting guests warmly. His welcoming attitude is one of the main reasons I’ve returned to this restaurant multiple times. Highly recommended!

The food and atmosphere were genuinely impressive, with delicious dishes and a warm, inviting setting that made the place feel promising. However, the service was noticeably slow and disorganized, largely because there were only a few staff members handling everything. We even waited about an hour in the queue before being seated, only to face further delays once inside. With more staff and better service, the restaurant could truly shine.

Nice place with varied menu, suitable for breakfast or brunch. The food is decent and fresh and drinks are great. The staff need a bit more training as it took them three attempts to make a hot coconut matcha latte. The atmosphere is a bit dull and I really think they need to do something with lighting inside.

Didn’t like the food. The coffees also wasn’t great unfortunately. I wanted my drink extra hot but this wasn’t the case. It does, however, have a warm, nice atmosphere which made the experience better. Can be very busy when you go as a walk in thus had to wait to be seated, otherwise all fine!
