"This little Monmouth Street cafe has a special place in our hearts. Not because the food is going to blow you away, but because it’s so reliable. Need a lunch spot you don’t have to book in advance? Sorted. Need somewhere quiet for an intimate catch-up in Covent Garden? This is the place. And that also counts when you add a mini human to the equation. It’s a spacious spot which means you won’t feel awkward about rocking up with a pushchair, and it’s always relatively quiet on weekdays which makes it a useful place to have in your back pocket. You’ll find solid versions of things like shakshuka and an aubergine and tomato pasta. The croissant with eggs and spinach was good. The truffle eggs were light but still tasty, with a mild truffle flavor. For dessert, the French toast was okay — not amazing. It was a bit soft, almost like pudding. They also have an apple-flavored pancake that I’d like to try next time. The ambiance of the place is nice.

Went there on Valentine’s Day with a booking. Even though there’s a queue outside, it does not feel rushed inside the restaurant. There’s enough time and space to enjoy the meal. There’s a Valentine’s Day special flavour for the pancakes- Strawberry and white chocolate. The portion was very filling and the pancake tasted very nice. I was only able to finish half and had to take the other half back home. The black sesame latte was not strong enough, it tasted weaker than I imagined. The service was very good. The staff told us when the next reservation is when we arrived, giving us a heads up. We also tried exchanging flower bouquets before the food arrived, and they helped us clean some of the leaves we have on the table. When we asked for a take away box, she helped us put the food in the box in a organised way which I really appreciated.

A very pretty brunch spot and less busy than the Covent Garden branch. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and managed to get a table after about a 15mins wait. It can get busy, which also explains why they try to turn the tables around quick and gave us the bill once we had finished the food. It's understandable. Food was great, portions were good and had a variety of brunch to choose from. I know the pancakes were popular but didnt order it because I knew we wouldn't be able to finish it. Maybe they could make a "smaller" version to accommodate. There are a variety of drinks to choose from too. You'd be inclined to go back and try other stuff on the menu. The restaurant itself is very pretty but the lighting is very yellow.

Cute cafe, 100% would recommend booking if you are planning to go as the queue is out the door otherwise. The presentation of the food was amazing. They rotate signature pancakes but they looked far too indulgent so went for something savoury. The flatbread has a really good flavour. The chicken burger was ok. They have a lot of options on the menu and for drinks also.

An ordinary breakfast experience. The shakshouka was okay, and I didn’t enjoy the Biscoff coffee that much. However, the staff were welcoming and nice. I might give it another try with a group to try more dishes and hopefully have a better overall experience.

Food was amazing had the truffle scrambled eggs and apple butter pancakes. The service was amazing , Sara our waitress was so lovely and welcoming. All the staff look so happy to work here . We loved the atmosphere and energy of the staff

Went on a Saturday noon & had to queue for an hour so if you’re going maybe avoid peak lunch time. Food was amazing, staff absolutely amazing and kind. Restaurant is stunning from inside. Me & my friend loved it, would want to go again & try other things on the menu :)
