Applebee's Grill + Bar

I went here kinda recently with my friends and we had an amazing time the waitress was actually so kind. The food was okay as good as food can get from Applebee's but what really made this a 5 star restaurant was the waitress and that I was eating with friends.

Absolutely loved it, the server was attentive and checked in regularly with us to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything. Our food came out quickly and was delicious from the first bite and the prices are fair for the amount of food you get. We got the appetizer sampler, the honey pepper chicken with bacon mac & cheese meal, kids chicken tender and fries meal, a rocking popper drink, a red sangria drink, and a milkshake and only spent 72$ total.

It has been quite some time since my last visit to Applebee's. My kids just wanted mac and cheese and so we decided to dine there. Our waiter, Josh, provided truly outstanding service. I was hoping to order garlic parmesan fries, but they were not available. Josh kindly suggested that he could provide the garlic butter parmesan sauce on the side for my waffle fries, which was a wonderful idea! It was delicious!

Food not bad. Service was good. But the two-seater booth we were seated at had such low-slung seats that my face was literally level with my plate the entire time. I spent most of my dinner focused on not dropping food down my front. Will think twice about eating there again.

The food was good as always. The server was phenomenal. she was extremely attentive, professional, extremely friendly and courteous. We got there a few minutes before noon and the place was not crowded.And we were seated right away.

It would be great if the hostess actually greeted you when you walked through the door. I'm a poc.They did greet the next party after me(white). Which has me scratching my head and questioning whether I was just discriminated against. Can you hire hostess that aren't discriminatory toward people of color? Thanks. Food was okay. The to go team was great though. EDIT: So I was able to taste everyone's food and it was not good. Oversalted and under seasoned. I thought I got a good deal, but eating this was rough. You may even waste money because you wouldn't finish this bad food.

Food was good. I had the endless Riblets and chicken tenders with endless fries and a delicious blue lemonade. My wife had their sampler appetizer with lemonade. What we didn’t eat we boxed up and took home. I also love the different large screen tvs with constant sports.

My 1st time there was a great experience, from the greeters to our waitress Nicole. Everything was so excellent I asked for the Manager Dee, whose personality was outstanding. It was a birthday celebration for me and 1 of my friends. I drove back with 2 more of my sisters today. This location is in another state, but it was worth the drive and a wonderful experience again today. 😊

Ordered takeout and was told the 2 for $27 did not include the appetizer. I contacted on the website and was told someone would respond. The manager of the store actually called me personally and apologized and sent me a gift card because I should have been able to get the appetizer. I love Applebees and will continue to give them my business. Very impressed on how they handled my complaint. Thank you so much! See you soon

Me and my teenager stopped here...We loved it. The food was awesome and our waitress was really nice

This is a very well run Applebees. Our server Jamie, was attentive and engaging. The food was good and the atmosphere was good for the children. See you again soon.

I generally order for delivery. The ribeye steak dinner the make is really great. They cook steak like it should be cooked. I always buy my steak dinner from Applebee's.

Almost perfect bar food! We had a family gathering so we ordered a variety of food. The grilled chicken came out perfectly grilled and still juicy! The strawberry- chicken salad was a great combination and good amount of chicken. The burger was cooked to perfection and was tasty. The all you can eat combo was very good. I suggest the Asian- chili sauce was a perfect combo of sweet and heat. The chicken was crisp and tender. The riblet was ok and the meat could have used some seasoning prior to sauce being added. The fried shrimp was tasty. If you order the flavored ice tea ask for extra syrup. Otherwise it tastes like water. The only negative about the whole experience was our server was assigned all over. The wait time was at time's frustrating.

Food took long and food was over cooked. As well as food was very dry and raw. Another reason this deserves a 1 star is because of bad service. When I asked how long the food was coming out she had an attitude with me and everything like what is her problem, lowkey I WAS BOUTTA CRASH OUT.

Very salty food. Trash on main floors. Bathrooms dirty. Had to go to hostess to find server a couple times.

Foods good my waitress was good. I'm really a return customer due to the fact of just how clean the silverware is. I can see myself in the knives, every time. The place is clean but the plates and silverware are immaculate. This is nirvana for clean plates forks knives and.... Yes even the Spoons.

Waited 45 minutes for our food as the employees stood around. The manager just sat there staring off into space. Food was cold by the time it arrived to us. As an Applebees fan I am very disappointed.

Horrible service took forever was hair in my food waitress was over all rude and mean she ong ores my kids when they tried to order

service and food was an absolute disgrace. The entire time we were here the server came up to us about twice in the span of an hour and food came out freezing cold, like if it was in a morgue.

This place is my wife favorite I had steak and shrimp fajita was good my wife had cheese burger she thought it was greasy The waitress was very friendly I enjoyed the meal and that what is important

Late night after moving our son into his new apartment in the pouring rain we needed a place for dinner after 11:00 pm. We checked yelp for what places were close to us and still open. Applebee's showed up so we drove over. They were not busy we got right in an were seated at a good table. First thing we see is we can still get happy hour 1/2 price apps. We ordered boneless wings and wine. Very pleasant server took care of us. Had to try the braised beef tocos as well as the chicken wanton tacos. The chicken tacos are my favorite. Add some onion soup and late night dinner was complete. Applebee's is not normally a 4 Star review for me. However tonight they were the best choice at 11pm. For that they deserve 4 stars.

There's nothing bad I can say about this Applebees! I've been coming here for more than 5 years with my best friends and this place has a special place in our heart, which never seems to change. My one friend and I got the 2 for $27 and ordered the Spinach Artichoke dip, Barbecue Chicken and Shrimp, and the Three Cheese Penne. I would probably say that these three choices were the best options out of all of them mainly because the penne was so filling and the chicken/shrimp was flavorful. No complaints here - just your local Applebees! Until next time : )

web site is horrible. curbside delivery pick up and girl ran away with my change and never I called and they blew me off and will never go there again.

This is the worst Applebee's I have ever been to. We sat at the bar to watch the game and ordered our food fairly quickly after sitting down. 3 other groups of people sat down an ordered food about 20 minutes after us. When the one guy got is food before us I asked about our food and was told that his food was different and different foods are made in other groups. The problem with that was his food was the same as one of our meals. When our food finally came out almost 40 minutes after we ordered 2 of our meals were cold. Asked for new fries cause they were cold and got half an order when almost finished eating. The other groups got their food about 5 minutes after us. Very bad service and the bar wasn't even full. I usually really like Applebee's but I don't reccomend this one at all.

Every few months, I meet two of my friends from high school for mini "reunions" over, generally, good meals. This time around, it was one of the guy's turns to pick the restaurant and he chose this one. I'm often biased against establishments like Applebee's since they're so gimmicky, but this location only lacked in one regard: the food... for me. We were seated right away and given waters. Our server was really understanding when our friend was late and we waited some time to order. My one friend raved about his salad -- one with shrimp on it. He inhaled the whole thing while I hardly touched my dish in the meantime. I had ordered the mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken fingers and it had the most peculiar taste to it. I couldn't figure it out until my other friend said he had it before and called it "sweet." Exactly the right word! I definitely was not expecting that and would never order that entree again. I knew the chicken would have have a honey taste, but didn't know it would seep into the pasta portion so much. It was just odd. Applebee's is not my top choice for dining out, nor would I ever go there unless corralled into a visit. This location is convenient in Deptford though -- right between Routes 42 and 55 and near a whole bunch of box stores and the mall.

Got sat within a minute only to wait 25 minutes without anyone coming up to us. We just left . Don't waste your time here.

One of the most horrible restaurants I have ever been in . The service was horrible, every waitress had an attitude, shame on all of you. The food was great but the customer service was horrible. Everyone there should be ashamed of themselves. Clean your restrooms as well and the dining area and get your self serve pay machines working as well.

Applebee's is one of my favorite but this one is horrible. Picked up my in laws from the air port on the way home stopped for a bit to eat. It was an hour wait because they were short handed which I get its everywhere including my work. We got our food wings were kinds cold and then got my meal and the chicken was raw. Our waitress was very concerned then the Manger came over and just said oh I'm sorry. People can get ready sick from eatting raw chicken. Guess he didn't care. Just make sure you check your food when you go out these days.

Oh Lord - this Applebee's! This was our (2 adults and 3 children) 2nd trip to the Deptford location. Our first visit ---- okay server and my steak (in my 'steak salad') was not rare as I had ordered. After our food finally arrived, we waited a long time for our bill. ~~~~~~~~ 2nd visit - our server was seemingly new and forgot my side salad, forgot one of the kid's meals, messed up an order (no bacon on the vegetarian's wedge salad) and forgot a drink. My steak was somewhat fatty and overcooked again. I didn't even mention it. For all of the screw ups, we got ALL of the kid's meals taken off and my (late arriving & drowned) side Caesar salad. We joked that next time, we'll allot an extra hour onto our arrival time to allow for the mishaps & hopefully another $20 bill for 5 people!

Service was booty. Place was empty. I'm only typing more because it won't allow me to send it with just that. Please blows.

I love this place it's really clean and the food is always nice and hot and I love the fact that they season everything with love and never put too much salt.

Pretty much what you expect from this chain. Crowded on the weekend, loud. I brought the kids for dinner. Good prices for steak.

I liked Applebee's when I went in person but when we had it delivered it was disappointing. My mother and I got the same thing. The mashed potatoes and onion rings were great but the steak was very tough, hard to cut and had absolutely no flavor. My mother also didn't like the broccoli but I didn't see anything wrong with that. I, like her was just very disappointed in the steak.

This apple bees has terrible service. We asked for a table 4 days in advanced. We were told we cannot make reservations that early so we called 2 hours before and asked for a table of 12. They said we will have 3 tables of 4 near eachother when we got there. We got there and had one table and they said only 4 of us can sit and the rest of us had to wait for over an hour. I strongly do not recommend this apple bees.

First time costumer at apple bees in deptford. Turns out our waiter forgot our our utensils. Than one of our burgers were undercooked and then we had to wait a while to even speak to the waiter after every visit.

Purchased frozen to go cocktails from Applebee's tonight and was told upon arrival that I could not have straws for all four of the drinks I purchased I'm aware of the new New Jersey single use straw ban, but I do know if you ask for one they are legally allowed to give it to you. Ive world in the restaurant industry for 15 years and this is extremely unacceptable but I guess I can't be too disappointed because after all I am ordering from crapplebees. Won't be returning especially since now I have to go and buy straws from Walmart and I'm sure my drinks will be melted by the time I get home thank you so much

Worst customer service ever. Our server was so rude and unprofessional. When asking for a salad before my dinner she basically said I told u it would come out with your meal. I stated you're incorrect and basically she was fighting with me . And then states oh someone took your salad what? Just HORRIBLE !

Sunday night about 5pm coming home from Philly with Grandkids so decided to stop at this Applebees just off the AC Expressway. Busy and a short wait for a table. No problem. Usually no problem at any Applebees, however this one does have some real weaknesses. Service after getting order was was unbearably slow. Took at least 30 min to get food and with 3 - 9 year olds that's a long time. Food at Applebee's is what you would expect, with one exception. I ordered the Shrimp Wonton Stir Fry and there was no spicy dumpling sauce as promised on the menu, but stuff happens. I signaled for waitress and she came right over. Said she would get water for the table and the sauce that was missing. With that she proceed to take an order from the table of 6 behind us and then put that order into the computer near us. So 8 - 10 min goes by and I'm sitting there with a plate of rice veggies and shrimp getting cold. All in all not a very pleasant experience for this Applebees.

Food is gross for the most part. The french onion soup might as well be made out of sewer water and i have been on the toilet for three days as a result. My sister is also shitting her brains out and all she had was a salad. Service is very friendly, maybe even a little too friendly. One waitress got very close to another patrons baby and had no regard for social distancing guidelines. I hope baby is still alive because she was breathing directly into it's face. I feel bad for this applebee's, very sad and uncomfortable experience overall. Please heed my advice and steer clear of the french onion soup. Thank You.

Seated very quickly at a clean table and the water was very polite and had some patience with my niece ordering her meal. The waiter was very polite and had good work ethic. The food was spot on and it was my first time at this applebee's and also ordering a bacon burger. Im super happy with the experience here and would totally come again

01/09/18 I just came back from Applebees I was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews because I hadn't been there for a while. Well I had nothing to worry about My Husband took me there for my Birthday. No one else there knew it was my Birthday. We had a server named Mo He was a great server. He had a least 5 tables that we saw maybe more that he was waiting on but treated all his customers the same asking always is everything ok do you need any thing else. The food came out fast and was excellent could not complain about anything. It was a great night Good Server great food . I will be back again.

We ca.e in and was sat right away. 10 mins goes by without a single server showing up. The 2 other couple were seated and served right away! Once i complained to the manager it took another 20 mins for the food to be served. Ove been to this applebees before and received good service but this time it completely sucked to the point that we will NOT be back.

ASK FOR TINA for your server in Deptford, NJ. (she's exceptional). Our experience started out with a long wait, although we had eight people, so it was expected. Once seated, we had a fantastic experience because of her.....She was amazing with such a PLEASANT personality and made our trip well worth it. She was spot on with everything that was requested! Oh..The food....that was mediocre.

We went here when inside dining opened, first we had a party of 7, they sat us apart, trying to keep with the government standards due to the coronavirus, but it clearly states parties of 8 can be together! Then it took 30 minutes to take our drink orders, then another 30 minutes to take our food order, then another 30 minutes to get our food. In the time waiting the waitress dropped a whole glass of water on the table & the glass shattered! The food was subpar, the service was terrible! If there was a zero star rating I would of definitely gave that. The date we went was 09/05/2020 around 12:00pm

To me-- Applebees are all the same. Decent food, decent service. I had went here for the event where they were offering free tastes of two of their new items. The smores dippers and Sriracha wings. The sample sizes were kind of disappointing. I guess I had too high expectations. The smores dippers was OK. Nothing too special and I probably wouldn't order them again. The wings were just OK too. I tasted no Sriracha at all. I do like their happy hour specials (and the one after 9 too!). Half price apps and $3 long islands is where it's at. I like most of their apps more than any of their meals.

Did a carside to go order recently and if all had gone as planned I would have given it 4 solid stars. The server was friendly and what I ordered was very good! Unfortunately we were given the wrong order. I did not think to check the bag, I assumed everything was correct. I got a couple miles away when my cell phone rang, it was Applebee's telling me that they gave me the wrong food order. I turned around and went back to pick up the correct order. Soon as I pulled up the server came out with the correct order and told me to keep the wrong order. Can't beat free food right? My wife and I both ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Tango that was advertised as new. It was on point. Very good. I am guessing the wrong order we received was a steak with side and salad and a chicken breast with side and salad. Chicken and steak were both dry. Sides were skimpy and the salads were limp and lifeless. I can only hope the guy who ordered that got something better. While it took longer than normal to get our food I was still pleased with what we ordered. Hard for me to complain about what we didn't order but in this case I will. Have ordered carside to go numerous times without a hitch. Hoping this was just a fluke.

I don't really like Applebee's. I ordered one of the menu identified lower calorie options (some kind of lemon chicken), because I've read about how overloaded the calories can be at Applebee's ln dishes that you wouldn't expect. I shouldn't have been surprised that the salad that I ordered with my entree came covered in cheese. Everything that I ate here that was cooked looked as if it was microwaved. The little electronic thing on the table that you can use to play games, pay your bill, or call over the server charged me $1.99 to play games. I was told that I was asked if I would accept the charges before playing the games, but I didn't see anything like that. I was annoyed by this, I wouldn't buy a junky trivia app on my phone for $1.99, and if I would, I'd be able to use it for the rest of my phone's life. The machine was there, so I messed around with it, I think it is nickel and dime bullshit that it is so easy to accidentally purchase something on those machines. None of this experience was much of a surprise for me. This account is about what I expect when I go to any Applebee's. If I'm there, you can be sure it wasn't my choice.

Whoever was the chef on 7/25 between the hrs off 9-10pm was EXCELLENT!!!!! Food was beyond my expectations, definitely the best apple bees I have had

Really good burger. I had the Bourbon Black and Bleu. It was cooked like I wanted and very tasty. I gave them 3 stars for the wait. We had a big party - 4 adults and 5 kids - and it took over an hour to get our food. Shouldn't have taken that long, regardless of how many people were at our table.

Okay, we were off to a bad start. Party of 9 (4 adults & 5 kids ages 8-12). It wasn't packed ( but we were packed in a kind of wrap around booth). We were there an hour before our food was served. The waitress kept up with drink refills and apologies. 5-stars for her! When the food finally arrived it was hot and impressive in both taste and presentation. The burgers were mile-high with toppings, and the kids meals satisfied our big kids. I would say worth the wait but that wait was way too long with no visit from the management. I'll come back for the Cowboy Burger and hope for the best.

Waitress Nicole made a mistake and gave me the wrong check. I paid the wrong check and then she said I gave you the wrong check. She credited my account but it was a debit card which put a hold on my money and then recharged me for my bill. As a result my money wasn't available when I left the store. I was told they needed my my bill so they could give a discount to an off employee who's check I paid. The manager nor Nicole the waitress made any allowances for my inconvenience and I left the restaurant with $80.00 taken from my account instead of $40.00. Nicole and the manager were unsympathetic to my inconvenience from their mistakes. I will never go back to that Applebees. It is now 5 hours later and my money from Nicole's mistake is still not available. I actually drove 40 minutes to meet a friend at that Applebees. I'm still angry by the entire experience which was supposed to be a pleasant experience ended up being a disappointment and a loss of an additional $40.00 for the night.

Group of 20....called ahead....they told us great...got there only to find out NOW they would work on getting us seated in the same area....Waited an hour.....should have gone anywhere else!!!!!!

Applebees used to be my go to for good food at a decent price, but now the food just is not the same. The food seems like it's all frozen and microwaved food. Better off going to a diner. But better off going to a diner for better food.

My girlfriend and I went to this Applebees location since it was close by. They had a DJ this particular night, it was a Thursday and we wanted their drink of the month. We asked the manger for seating for 4, another party came after us and requested the same and were immediately seated. We thought maybe they were there before and came back. We were seated 15 minutes later and placed our order shortly there after. Our order came to us an hour and a half late, cold and above all wrong! We signaled to The manager who was at the table across we wanted to see her when She was done at that table. She shouted wait walked away and came back with a terrible attitude. We expressed our concerns and she indicated she would get right on it. We asked that our cocktails have sugar on the rim of the glass and the bar tender refused to adhere to our request, the paying customer. The manger returned 45 minutes later and we again expressed our concerns. Needless to say I will never go back. The manger was rude and wouldn't try to help at all. I almost have to wonder if it was race related or are they just terrible at their job in general. If I could, I wouldn't give them any stars. #WorstExperienceEver.

I have come to this location many times and never had any issues. But today at 4pm I decided to order online and pick it up from inside. When completing the order and paying online it said it would be ready at 4:20 pm. I arrived at 4:20 on the dot. When going inside the host at the front told me that my food was not ready. I gave her my name 4-6 different times and she kept calling me an incorrect name and saying my food was not ready. I sat inside for 30 minutes waiting for my food which was done the whole time. I had to pull up my order info from the email and show it to her and then she decides to let me know that it was done this whole time. So now my food is COLD and soggy. I will never come back for the simple fact that the host couldn't even do her job right and gave me an attitude the whole time. It wasn't even busy. I'm very angry. Horrible customer service.

talk about skimping! had the chicken and shrimp dish which was great btw but there were almost no mushrooms and onions. the server said... they're under the chicken. so I looked and saw a tiny bit of onions. someone (manager?) brought over some more and the dish was great. but the $10.50 "patron" margarita had absolutely NO alcohol in it. service wasn't great either. not going to this location again.

I love applebee's it's always my go to restaurant when we can't decide where to go. the food is good but i went last night (july 19) and i was very disappointed with the service. I had a waiter named tom and he took at least 15 minutes to come back and take our order. when we finished our appetizers and got out main meal (he was never the one to bring us our food) he left the table cluttered with used dishes. he didn't ask us if we wanted anything else with our meal and never refilled drinks. we felt very rushed and uncomfortable. I try to be understanding because i know being a waiter is hard but he just wasn't friendly at all. maybe i caught him on an off night. very disappointed :(
