Applebee's Grill + Bar

The food was tasty. It was busy because of veteran's day and therefore the service was a little slow, but our waitress was very helpful and happy. We always love the sizzling butter blondie dessert here. The hot honey glazed BBQ chicken & bacon skillet was good too.

I enjoyed coming here before for the rib-lets but the last 2 times, the food quality has not been that great. This was the 1st time ordering the unlimited rib-lets & was given mostly chucks of large dry meat & barely any actual rib-lets. I was disappointed. I also tried the sizzling caramel apple pie & it looked nothing like it was advertised as you can see in the pictures. There’s no crust in it at all. It’s just the inside of a pie. The drinks & the service were good but I don’t think I will be coming here for a long while.

My server Tawna. S she was very nice, she went out of her way to give half-price on my meal because my meal came out very late.

If you want the perfect dinner that taste great looks great. Smells great and it’s just amazing. Do not come here. This place serves you dry pasta that has no fettuccine Alfredo sauce on it. A big slab of chicken smothered in marinara sauce they give you the worst heartburn all day and soggy french fries We never order we never eat from Applebee’s ever again. This place is just Barff a Roma

Our server Erik O was new but he was amazing. I will recommend him when you visit this location. Hands off to him and his personality, he was so nice and you could not tell he was new.

Normally you come here for the drinks not ready for the food and drinks are pretty decent because they're a good price if they're on special the food is just okay if you just hungry but the drinks at least are pretty decent and they have a good selection. Lately the food hasn't gotten any better ordered the baby back ribs was okay just felt like it was old still kind of cold inside a little bit. Mashed potato is good. Came back today try to give it another chance one for the unlimited riblets platter and very disappointed it's not worth it. I really tried to give it a chance but the food quality has just gotten worse and worse each time.

Zero stars do no recommend. I went to try the 2 for $25 and boy was I disappointed. My server was not attentive, and when the manager Carrie came over it wasn’t better. My honey hot skillet came as if someone had eaten out of it and then I was told that more fries was coming and I explained to the manager it’s no way my food should have came out like just. My son’s pasta was dry and it took forever to get more Alfredo sauce. My other son steak was overcooked after asking for medium rare. This was a very bad experience. I haven’t been to this place and years and with this experience I won’t be patronizing this business again. Picture below is how my food came out of the kitchen without me touching it…

Food was good, prices are affordable and they have the 2 for $25 deal right now. We got seated right away and service was okay. We will definitely be back. The food was good overall.

Max and I spent a good portion of the day cleaning. We went out to do some errands and he suggested that we go to the grocery store to pick up some items to make dinner. Are you kidding me? You cook in a clean kitchen. You are out of your mind. I suggested that we eat out. His pick. So, here we are. We were greeted by The Rock and headed to the bar. They have hooks under the bar. Threw the purse handle on a hook and grabbed a menu. No wonder The Rock is hanging out at Applebee's! He had his very own tequila. The Blue Aloha was very good. Max had the Won Ton Chicken Tacos. A tad spicy for me. I loved the Double Batter Shrimp. A plus for removing the tail shell.

Visited this Applebee's on September 11, 2025 around 8:00 PM for my son's 5th birthday. Worst service we've ever had. Our server never checked on us, ignored the server call button twice, and didn't offer refills. We even had to grab paper towels from the restroom just to clean our hands and mouths. Really disappointing, especially on a special occasion.

What could have improved? Literally everything. From the moment I stepped through the door, there was a stench of cleaning chemicals that was disturbing. I was here with family, per their choice, so I just tried to ignore it and enjoy but the service and the food were bad. Our waitress, Alize, literally spilled marinara sauce on the floor next to our table, and never came back to clean it the whole time we were there. Several other employees walked by and the marinara sauce is still on the floor as I'm typing this in the car ride home. I ordered rice instead of fries and she forgot to change it. Then when it was brought to the table, I told the food runner that it was supposed to be rice and he never came back to correct it. I ended up trying the fries since they were in front of me but they were cold and undercooked. I wouldn't recommend what I ordered which was the hot honey grilled chicken skillet. The only thing that we ordered which was good were mozzarella sticks and buffalo boneless chicken wings which an elementary school child could make themselves. Overall, very disappointed in this place, which is sad to say since my expectations weren't high to begin with. Not coming back even if you paid me.

Came for a quick lunch date with my husband and it was a very nice experience. Wasn't crowded, our waiter Cathy was very nice and attentive. The drinks were very yummy and refreshing. The mozzarella sticks were huge and hot! I got their strawberry chicken salad and it was huge! I love the combination of sweet and savory and it was just right! My husband got the pretzel bread with beer cheese and it was nice and warm and seemed to be very fresh! 10/10

A moldy but favorite place of ours. We usually sit at the bar we were attended by Cathy our bar tender who I loved. Cathy was detailed and always curtiese. I respect and love our bar tender's for all the work for the entire restaurant they need to cover but of all they do this with a smile including Cathy. Enjoy your next visit here at Applebees! Located in Pembroke Pines, across from their city center, on Pines just west of Palm Ave. this Applebee's is a good stop if you are looking for a good Applebee's. We went for the unlimited fried shrimp, riblets, and boneless wings for $14.99. Once every 5 years or so we commit to this feast then need the 5 years to recover lol. While we didn't have any drinks, they did have some tasty looking drinks at reasonable prices. With that said, the food was standard average food. The food came out hot and fresh but it's not exactly fine dining. Sauces on the boneless wings were a bit uneven or inconsistent depending on the flavor, some way too much and some not enough. So the one star is knocked off for quality and consistency. Our server Michelle was attentive, friendly, and pretty easy to find if we needed. We tried all the flavors of wings and all agreed the Parmesan garlic was our favorite. Just be aware it's heavily garliced. So if you're looking for a good Applebee's experience, knowing ahead of time the food, this is the place.

This location is located on the corner of palm and pines. This place is a neighborhood staple we have been coming here for years. Cold drinks and piping hot food. We got the 2 for 25 menu cheap and fast but really surprised by the flavor. My steak although a small 6oz packed a flavor punch paired with double mashed. And must I say the mashed potatoes is definitely top of other chain restaurants. 4 meals and drinks less than $100 bucks with tip definitely a bang for your buck. Service is fast and easy with a sports bar vibe we was definitely eating good in the neighborhood lol.

Food, service, and cleanliness. Never again will I set foot in this place. I was embarrassed to take my wife and children to this place. I don't know how a manager can survive with servers like the once there, however I imagine he is no better.

Ok so my son wanted the all you can eat riblets special and since I hadn't had them in yrs I said "let's do it". When we arrived we were told the computers were down and you either had to have cash or they would take a card but everything had to be entered manually (like the old days). We decided to stay which I ended up regretting. The hostess (we nicknamed her turtle due to her sense of urgency) was just going thru the motions to get us seated. Once seated, our waiter was overwhelmed because the kitchen was moving extra slow. There weren't many people inside so they didn't have that many cooks. Several people coming in after us were told the wait would be 30 mins or more to get fed and they left. It took awhile for our food to come. My wife had a burger and she said it was tasty. My son and I had the riblets and I can tell you it was so disappointing (see pics for details). First off they came out lukewarm, tough and were super small. I understand the computer issues and that can be excused cause things happen. What I can't excuse is the cooking times when the place isn't even halfway full and the quality of the food.

This place never disappoints, always receive great customer service and the food it's always fresh . There's never a wait time for a table and the servers take their time getting your order in . The spinach artichoke dip it's always so good and the food came out super quick . Happy hour has many specials like 1/2 off apps !

Food was good. The staff was excellent the bartender exceptional nothing was wrong with anything. I know they get a bad name, but I think you should try again and see.

Somehow I ended up at Applebee's again. This time a different location. I have a friend who is a picky eater and just really likes Applebee's for some reason. I ordered the Tex Mex shrimp bowl. The shrimp had a flavoring I didn't really like but I still enjoyed my bowl. I am picky about unique flavoring. I usually like to mostly stick with salt and pepper. So that is my taste. Our server said a lot of people order this and love the shrimp. He was excellent and was always available when we needed something. Very pleasant and I wish I had gotten his name. Tables are cleaned and disinfected quickly after customers leave. My friend liked her Fiesta Lime Chicken and rice. It looked very cheesy to me. I love cheese but that is too much chicken for me. Applebee's always plays 80s music. I like that. Maybe they were founded in the 80s? It is a restaurant that is affordable and has a wide variety of dishes.

I will not spell our server's name out, but I will say Re* was a young male and horrible in service. He presented himself as nice and professional, but we quickly realized it's just a front for his inadequacy in service. We started with no silverware and waited 20 minutes without acknowledging our presence while he engaged with a couple across from our table for exactly 10 additional minutes. I asked the hostess, if anyone would be assisting our table, only to be informed that it was the server having a full blown ridiculous conversation with the table across from us. That's fine, but at least let our table know, you will be with us momentarily!! We don't know you are our server, but you do!! Completely unacceptable. Almost everything we asked for was provided by another server. To include, silverware, straws and lemons. I made sure to request whatever we needed when he showed up at the table, because only the heavens knew when and if it would come. He was dismissive, but hilariously in a professional manner, if that makes sense. The food was good and we will return, but I will stay away from Re*. I'm a great tipper, my initial thought was to leave him Nothing!!! He received an undeserved 15% gratuity.

We had a wonderful visit to Applebee's on Sunday night. When we walked in, it was very nostalgic and very calm around 9:30PM, we were surprised to see as many people as we did. Cici, our waitress was amazing, very attentive and she made to sure to make us feel welcomed. The wings were delicious. We ordered TWO endless boneless wing meals and got BBQ, Garlic Parmesan, Honey Pepper, Asian Chili. They were so good we forgot to take a picture of them. When it was dessert time, we ordered the OG dessert, Blondie!! It was delicious and right out of the oven, when it got to us, it was starting to melt so the waitress offered more ice cream, we said no because we were already stuffed but I was personally tempted to take her up on the offer!!

Our server Ivana was very nice and attentive. our food was delicious and we'll be back.

Total waste of time !! Waited for over 15 minutes no service. While 3 servers stood at the bar talking about how their manager is a dick.

I can't honestly say I remember eating at Applebees but this been my first time was a cut above the rest. My server COREY from Boston second to none this gentleman should be a spoke person for this company his attention to detail and patience and understanding for a family of 6 while they order from a place they never been. I tell you if you reading this ask for COREY the piggy back on this message and tell me his not good at what he does. I would had put pics but tooooo late all gone!!! Lol.

The staff working here don't know what's on the menu and also don't know how to operate a phone.

This is there double cheese burger - ordered to go - Pissed off at all means - How they serve this garbage and charge you more than a single burger - Manager Terrance awful just awful - stay away from this disgusting place- Look real close at it.

Whew I don't even know how to start this review lol. This experience was truly a HOT MESS!! I haven't had Applebee's in a long time and it truly has gone downhill. Saw all over tiktok there $5 halloween drinks of the month and $1 margaritas and I was sold. First time I tried to go it was a 2 hour wait and you couldn't sit at the bar even though seats were available. It was extremely packed because everyone wanted to see what all the hype was about. I was told you couldn't sit at the bar due to it being one bartender and they wouldn't be paying attention to us because they had to make all the drinks for the restaurant. So we left and attempted the next day and boyyyyy... Went right after work and waited 45 mins for a seat and once again it was packed. After waiting 45 mins for a seat we waited an additional 20 mins just for a waiter to greet us. We were advised that drinks would take a while to come out because it's only one bartender again. I got the zombie drink which had the texture of tampico, it tasted like a sweet juice with zero liquor. We got the 2 for $29 deal which comes with one appetizer and two entrees. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip and that was the only thing that tasted good, we did have to spruce it up with salt n pepper but really good. I ordered a caesar salad too but didn't get it until I finished my meal. I asked the waiter many times about it and the waiter just didn't seem to care. The broccoli n chicken alfredo was HORRIBLE...literally. Salt and pepper couldn't save this meal. The noodles were overcooked, the alfredo sauce tasted like broccoli water. I decided to get my partner ribs to go but I ordered before I even tasted my food. The table next me were complaining about how dry the ribs were and when I got my to go order it was really dry. The half rack of ribs were literally the size of my hand, no way that's a half rack. Honestly Applebee's will never see me again. A lot of things need to change before i'll step back in there.

AVOID AT ALL COST! Notoriously known for cheap prices, I was surprised to see the average cost for an appetizer is in the double digits. I guess I get it, inflation. But even though the prices have doubled, the quality has diminished, I ordered drinks during happy hour (around 9p/10p: Saturday), and all of them came with more ice than liquor ( Do not order a Tom Collins) . I couldn't even drink away my bad decision to eat here. SMH The worst of it, me and my party were forced to stay til 1am because of faults with their machine! We left after majority of the staff had clocked out. We were the last patrons in the restaurant that closed at 12a! And Instead of a manager coming to explain the problem, or offer any resolutions, or even even a voucher. We were instead double charged for items. How lovely. If you like baby portions, watered down drinks, and sub-par customer service. This is the place for you. If you have a modicum of respect for yourself then AVOID AT ALL COST.

We ordered about $130 worth of food for a family of 3 and it was awful. Meal #1: Alfredo with Blackened Shrimp: Very dry with hardly any sauce at all, shrimp was the only thing decent about it. I ordered a side of parmesean cheese and it came in a melted lump inside a small container. It was unedible in that form. Meal #2: Alfredo with Chicken: Very dry too with hardly any sauce at all. Meal #3: Ribs: Dry and tough to eat. Rice: Dry Ceasar Salad: Lettuce and dressing was good, salad was missing the parmasean cheese (even Wendy's puts cheese on theirs!), croutons were soggy. The only good things to come out of our meal was the brownie and the Mountain Dew. Not worth $130 at all. We will not be ordering from this restaurant ever again. Absolutely horrible. It's one thing to mess up a dish but it's a whole other level to mess up EVERY SINGLE DISH in our meal. We're used to at least one family member being disappointed or slightly disappointed when we eat out but this was insane as every one of us ended up with dry, overcooked, gross food. Never again.

First time there with friends and my significant other for lunch it was terrible we ordered the special 29.00 one spinach dip was good but the chips were bought in Restaurant depot stale as can be than the onion soup was like brown water with chs over it the steak had a good taste but tuff But the best was I ordered the zombie drink it came with a fly doing the back stroke how disgusting and disappointing This experience and the commercial that you see looks like two very different restaurant and the food looks delicious on TV but in person what Happened!!! Apple Bees what's up !! I don't think I will ever go back unless I had a good reason to !

I was running late for work and decided to call in at Applebees and do a pick up outside. The food came out on time by a very pleasant and courteous young lady. I was so hungry when I got to work I forgot to take pics. My fav is the Oriental grilled chicken. Was good as usual. I also ordered Mozzarella sticks. It was a little bit overcooked/hard however, still good and edible. I love coming to this Applebees and will be back again. I usually order via the app but it wasn't working at the time.

This restaurant chain is just not good. I gave them another chance since I hadn't eaten at this location before. The service was mediocre and the food was not good. I ordered the fiesta lime chicken and the chicken breast was way too small for the price. They gave me a decent amount of rice; however, I don't necessarily care about that. I would have liked a bigger piece of chicken. The server was sort of friendly; she was also kind of all business and no small talk. Considering the restaurant was empty, I guess that was her decision. There is just something about this place that rubs me the wrong way. I won't eat here again. It's just not worth it when there are so many other chains with much better food.

The food and the service at Applebees was amazing. The food was great and the drinks were even better.

Three stars for the expected underwhelming customer service. As soon as I walked in, the hostesses were just talking and I was looked at disgusted for interrupting and telling them "party of 4" lol. I don't let that bother me though, it's South Florida! We were seated at a reasonable 10 minute wait time (kudos) and was attended about 10 minutes after we were seated (shame). Our waiter was very friendly but he was very overwhelmed. I felt very bad for him as I overheard neighboring unsatisfied customers so I understand his pain. He even dropped a cup of water on the floor which did spill on my mom's foot and he didn't apologize or anything so I did find that to be rude. He didn't even provide extra napkins or anything. Like I said, typical South Florida customer service and hospitality. The food, however, was perfect! I've never had a problem with the food. The spices are right and flavorful and great prices! Always check your bill people, we were charged incorrectly one time and had to call management; it was resolved and compensated. :) Would I come back? Of course as long as I don't expect anything great lol

I have never EVER been at an applebee's or any other restaurant for that matter, that turns people AWAY from the bar. Bars are usually first come first serve. There is plenty of seats at the bar but yet we cant sit there horrible. Never coming back!!!

Good place for food and drinks! Very reasonably price and not too expensive especially if you have a big family. I actually left my phone at the bar and the server was nice enough to return it back the next day. Very nice staff!!!

Went with the family for an early dinner. This is the third time that we have gone and I have been so disappointed. We were greeted and seated right away. The girl greeting us was very friendly. However our waiter was very slow and somewhat forgetful. I order the 8oz sirloin and hay's and ordered a hamburger. I was told that because it was the deal (2 meals for one price ) that I could not add the shrimp for $1 that it would be 7.99. I asked why because on the app I can get it . That's the way it is I was told so I did not order them . I asked for steak medium and it was well done a bit on the dry side. The other adults ordered the shrimp and chicken bourbon meals both said the were delicious. We also ordered 2 kids meals one was brought to the table and we waited for the second which came with a super hot plate for a child. We watched our drinks sit at the bar made for over 15minutes. The bar tender finally brought them over. The appetizers were great should have stuck with them..

Applebee's oh Applebee's... I want to like you so much, but it's multiple bad experiences. The service was so terrible. On multiple occasions our server disappeared for long period of time. I would look around and see other customers in the same section looking for her. It got so bad that we started talking to people at different tables about the service, how she went missing multiple times and the drinks. Me and my other 2 friends orders the samplers. The food came out piece by piece. Nothing came out together. The food was nothing to be in awe of. The best part about my meal was the taco queso dip. It was really good, but gets hard fast because it starts to cool. For drinks we wanted to try the $1 zombie drink and other new Halloween themed drinks. DO NOT ORDER THE $1 ZOMBIE! It was disgusting. It tasted like water and rum. Thankfully it was only $1. Next up we had Dracula's Juice and Boo lagoon. The Dracula juice was good and the Boo lagoon was okay, but not okay enough to have again. Don't know when the next time I'll be back unfortunately.

Service was wonderful, our server Tay was incredibly attentive and very helpful with her suggestions. The food tasted great and the Dollaritas were flowing. 2 for 4 special on draft beer, need I say more?

Waited 20 minutes and left. The waiter was seated at the bar consuming a drink. When I wrote to corporate they had the cook call us?

The manager Adel seemed like he had a lot of racism built up I'm a black women he mad me feel uncomfortable my server was mya she was great but he spoke so harsh to her in front of me while we was ordering I'm so appalled that's why I stop coming before besides that the drinks were watered down but the food was prepare good enough to eat.

HORRIBLE! They refused to sit us. Two hour wait and half the place was empty. We went to sit at the bar and they stopped us and said the "bar was closed" there was a bunch of people at the bar, they just didn't want to serve us. Please save yourself the trip and go anywhere else.

The service was good, the food was just okay. I was with friends and we had salads, spinach dip, chicken nuggets, a hamburger and chicken tenders. Everything was just okay. We didn't even want to take pictures. If you're in the area and want a complete, healthier meal, then I'd recommend going to Applebee's.

I have always had good experiences at this Applebee's location. If you go during a peak time, there will surely be lines. You can almost always finding seating in the bar area since this is a "seat yourself" section. They have some decent specials like all you can eat ribs for $13.99. The lunch specials are decent as well. Th drinks have free refills. As far as parking goes, there is a large private lot outside of the restaurant, and even when that is full you can park in the strip mall parking lots so that is never an issue. If you want to do take out, they have a great carside program that is normally efficient. You order online or over the phone and they recognize your car, bring your food out, and you are on your way. If you want to sit at the bar, you can eat there a well. The drink specials are pretty good. They have 2 for 1 on rail drinks, and beer specials for $2 on certain draughts. If you are looking for a neighborhood bar and grill which is decorated in your local community's colors (pines sports teams pictures and jerseys adorn the walls), stop on in for a cold one and a solid lunch or dinner. There is something to be said for a national chain that you know what to order off of before you walk in.

Don't know the reasoning behind the poor reviews because I had a very good experience. When we arrived we were seated immediately. But when we needed to order, it took awhile.... But the food came out quick. Went from apple bee's to apple ayyy's After 10 pm, they have half off appetizers and 2 for 1 drinks! I would expect more people there because of these awesome deals.. but I guess because of poor ratings nobody dare step foot in here. Well I'm here to shine the light. The boneless or bone in wings no matter what flavor you pick is good. I was feeling the sweet Asian chili. It's a sweet and spicy sauce that kind of reminds me of sesame chicken. In addition, another app worthy of mentioning is the chicken wonton tacos. Add a bit of Tabasco and it's deliciouso! The server we had was very attentive. She did a spectacular job in making sure we had the best of our experience!

Went in because my wife wanted to try it never been to Applebees and when I came in I had a bad feeling because it isn't as packed as I'm used to seeing in years past. But we sat down appetizer came out super fast was medium warm. My burger and fries was cold but at least my wife's salmon was hot.

Came to Applebees with some family members for a quick weekend dinner. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable of the menu. She took our orders quickly and accurately. We ordered the double crunch wings as an appetizer, and it was so good! The crunchiness of the wings, plus the generous amount of flavoring (sauce and dry rub) were a perfect match. We literally ate everything off the plate lol. I ordered the grilled oriental chicken salad as my entree. This is my favorite go-to meal at Applebees, and it did not disappoint. The salad was a generous portion, had the right amount of dressing, and a great amount of chicken on it. I couldn't stop myself from eating it all lol. My family members enjoyed their meals as well, and even had food leftover to take home for another day. As always, I cannot wait to come back to try my menu items; especially their seasonal items.

Great customer service. The young man that assisted me was very attentive!! I came in on Veteran's Day to enjoy my free meal with my son. It was very packed but we did not have to wait to get a table. We were seated immediately. We were seated next to some fellow Veteran's that have been in the military longer than me. So not only did we get seated quickly but we were in good company. We did not have to wait long at all for our food. Or it didn't seem that long with chatting it up with our neighbors. I got the my signature favorite; the fiesta like chicken. So delicious and my favorite. I do not frequent chain restaurants much, so I honestly probably will not be back until next year for Veteran's Day.

Our service was great. The young lady was attentive and very accommodating. We came for there .25 cent boneless wings deal. Which is a great and I repeat a great deal. I heard they also had a $1 Long Island Ice Tea, deal as well. I believe they call it Dollar L.I.T. I must say, when I tried it I see why it was a dollar. To me it tasted just like juice, I even went as far as to ask our waiter was there really any alcohol in it. She kind of laugh but did insist that there was some in there. But as the saying goes it's cheap for a reason. But it was a quick trip for us. The best part of this visit was when the check came. I probably will come back just for this deal. The boneless one not the LIT one.

Bar tenders are very rude, always attitudes. Bar have all dirty dishes on top. He told it would be a while before he can clean it. In other words I don't want you sitting here. Drinks are ridiculous, all the bartenders needs to go to bartending school. Very juicy, I returned my drinks 3 times and decided on water.

Applebee's gives 10% off for active duty and veterans at local participating restaurants. Pembroke Pines location doesn't give discounts to Veterans except on Veterans Day.

What a waste of money. They have recently NEARLY DOUBLED their prices. Now this trailer trash restaurant costs more to eat at than a nice, real restaurant. It caught me by surprise. We ordered one appetizer, one entree, two beers, and two well rum and cokes. The small steak in the entree, which we ordered medium rare, came out raw. I'm talking blue, like, red and cold ALL the way to the edges. This despite the fact that I specified "medium rare: 135 final temperature" so there could be no misunderstanding. The bill came out to SEVENTY (70) US DOLLARS before tip. I'm sad AF because we came here for a quick cheap bite and a couple of cheap drinks. Man, we should have gone to Burger King. Or at least gotten some sushi like I originally wanted, which would have cost half as much. Now our eating-out budget is blown for the next two weeks... and for nothing. I am so mad right now. Fork my life.
