Applebee's Grill + Bar

It was pretty good for me. We all got the steak trios but no one else liked theirs because they ordered medium and got over cooked. The only thing I wish went differently was they carried the dessert and birthday march out before dinner was even done and some of us were at the bathroom. It wasn’t the end of the world though. I always appreciate Applebees for providing a vip service and meal for affordable rates. Foods good if u ask me. Green beans though booo-we need broc everytime!

Had a great time great food great service nice atmosphere all the staff were really nice and friendly 5 minute wait, however the food was extremely salty very very salty actually we drank a lot of water there and when we got home. Who ever was in charge of cleaning/clearing the tables was not doing their job many empty tables were full of the last customers dishes and trash. One great thing is you can pay with the mini kiosk on your table if you get stuck with server that's a ghost 👻 and can't ever seem to find them.

First let me tell you about the wait time . Not bad for a Sunday game day. The drinks came out quick. The service was OK. A little slow but I assume there was a lot of Uber Eats. The Salad was very good. The coleslaw was very fresh some of the best I ever had. The burger was juicy the bacon cooked very well. All in all a decent trip. Plenty of parking and it is handicapped accessible. Have a great day don't forget to follow.

the atmosphere is absolutely AMAZING here! so are the drinks, but the food is mostly good. originally was going to order a grilled salmon, but my waitress said they didnt get any salmon delivered to them. eh, fine. very disappointed in the soup though, the soup itself tasted good and was pleasantly surprised by the fact it had cheese, but very disappointed to find out it was brought hardly lukewarm and closer to cold. i would’ve probably given a 3-star review if it wasn’t for that tipsy sunset 🤤🤤 delicious!! so were the donuts. fries were pretty good and the breadsticks were absolutely heaven, alfredo was pretty much fine but the fish had a really weird taste to it?? it tasted like the oil it was being beer-battered in wasn’t fresh at ALL.. tartar sauce was a complete yum too, but if you’re coming i’d definitely get anything but the beer battered fish and ask the soup to be extra hot.

Brenda was amazing would definitely love to have her as a waitress again!!!! Get this dessert amazing

Today for Veterans day we had a table for 7 and your staff did a fabulous job from the best hostess to the best waitress we could ever ask for. I would give you over 5 stars today.

Food is absolutely horrible everytime but the service is great. Everytime I've came here the food has been so nasty. But the service always makes up for it. For some reason I always get the nicest waiter/waitress that are super nice. So for that it's not a 1 star

We have visited Vineland's Applesbee's and we always have to wait 40 minutes to 1 hour and there are several empty tables and they leave us waiting we have always gone to others and it never happens to us that is always the one in Vineland I hope they do something about it.

I have never been a big fan of most of the Chain restaurants but the other night I wanted to order out and I wanted something a little more substantial. So I ordered the steak with broccoli, mushrooms, and onions. I was pleasantly surprised when the steak was exactly how I asked it to be cooked, even though it was delivered, I really expected it to be overdone. This steak was so perfect, I have never gone to stake this perfect at any other Applebee's when I've been sitting at a table let alone 20 miles away.

miyah is such an amazing server Very attentive and made sure my food was good and my table was set to my liking. But the cooks are fucking horrbile I had to send my food back 5 times. I already had a long day and I was starving. The sever was amazing but the chiefs even they are called that are terrible they should be fired!!!!!

The hostess was not very well trained. Four groups of two showed up ( I was in 1 group). She was totally flustered. Never asked for names, just kept asking who came in first, second etc. just wrote down number in party but no names I ordered 1/2 slab ribs. Yuck! Dry, overcooked. , very very little meat on them!!! Waitress was great though. The manager asked how we were but did not really care. I was going to tell her about my food but she disappeared off the floor. My friend offered a medium we steak that was over cooked / dry. The only thing good about our meals were the fries I will not be going back!!!!! Terrible food .

i love apple bees but some of the waitresses are really slow at this location but it is okay because it was 11 at night.

The food is was delicious but I ask for a peach tea and It tast like water I was mad but it was still good

3 bowls of soup before I got a hot one. Actually so hot it wasn't edible. Also hot tea was cold

Two stars is a service to all Applebee's! Had to wait in a 3/4 empty restaurant due ti no staff. When we did get seated, the waiter was running everywhere, and wasn't able to really focus on the tables. We were lucky enough to sit close to the kitchen and hear the yelling back and forth. And by the way, Riblets are nasty!!! Nasty pieces of bone shards and fat covered in BBQ sauce. Why people enjoy these, I will never know?

Ordered three 8 oz sirloins for take out. One was supposed to be medium rare, the second medium well and the third well done. All three were cooked to the consistency of shoe leather. Last time we'll be frequenting Applebees in Vineland, NJ

Flying in on a Sunday- delayed flight- and arrive to find there were very few restaurants open so decided to stop here at Applebees. I sat at the bar as it is just me, an Ro was the bar tender. There are not words to explain how helpful he was, how accommodating, and tolerant of others. Please stop by and say hello to Ro!!!!

Wings was okay but was barely any sauce on it. Wings was hard too might be whoever was cooking it today. Not one of them has full sauce on it imma just start going back to Buffalo Wild Wings. Can't even get our doggy bags smh I wanna leave.

A few minutes late as always. It's Valentine's Day today so why not? 1st thing is that there were 20 to 10 minutes late. Then another 10 minutes of getting our food. Had to call again after the line failed for some reason.

The food always comes out close to cold. And the floor under the tables are messy and dirty with crumbs and trash in between the seats.

Your service is horrible and staff are incompetent. Not sure how you can screw up an online order, but you've successfully managed to do so. Congratulations!!! I can't understand how you can take an order online, charge me for everything, and still mess it up. Your system of checks and balances on orders is flawed. Management is trash.

Will never be back. Food was horrible . Waitress was great . Drinks are watered down. They can do so much better !!!!!

We had the worst dinner tonight our waitress ASHLEY was horrible didn't even check on us .my food was ice cold didnt ask if we wanted refills nothing. I'm in the industry and I would have never serves a table like she did and it's not even like they were busy. Won't be goin back...

Over all I would say it's a good experience. Very friendly waiters and waitresses and all our food came out on time we did not have to wait long and they got good prices. I always like to Applebee's and they have not disappointed this place has great customer service a great atmosphere for families. Also for people who are single they have an open bar with flatscreen TVs and a good liquor selection such as they have a one dollar drink of the month if you're on a budget and then the two for 20 or two for 28 but they have many more go check this place out overall will go again happy with the experience.

This was our First Visit to This Location: We ordered the Special Unlimited Entrees for each of a Party of 4. We added a Number of Sides, but only Sodas, so the Bill was not destined to me High. The Kitchen was Slow(seems to be All over the area), but even Running our Server: Lauren around for refills, she was Excellent to us, even recommending an aid for an upset stomach(NOT Food related!), and she was Attentive without being Overwhelming! We stopped to Compliment her to the Manager(Also Great)! Even though the Bill was Low, and the Food came Slow, we felt Obligated to Tip Over-Generously.

This location is hit or miss, sometimes great food and service, other times not. Matt was our server, and he was sloppy, slow and shouldn't work in food. It took him over ten minutes to come take our drink order, his clothing was filthy (and they were all black). Food was ok, nothing special but they did have a $1.00 strawberry margarita, not the best but for a buck you can't go wrong. If you go here try to get Steve as your server, he is always on top of things.

The food I get is usually good, but the last few times I ordered carside to go they put the tortilla chips in my tortilla soup instead of on the side. By the time I got home the soup was dry and mushy. I couldn't eat it at all. Waste of money.

One of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. The restaurant area was almost completely empty; but we were still seated at table tightly next to another family with our chairs virtually touching. The waitress never came around to refill our drinks, we had to hunt her down every time. When she delivered our food, she put her bare armpit on my straw, to which she laughed. Never was I offered a new drink or another straw. She was cleaning the area and asked us to move our legs so she could sweep under our table. The appetizers were acceptable, but the meals were horrible at best. I have had better with microwave meals. We had to wave our waitress down to get our check. For the longest time she was just chatting it up at the bar with staff; arms folded and almost laying on the bartop. We have enjoyed Applebee's many time before. We were shocked at the horrible quality of the food and the lackluster service. We paid $60, for a Birthday night out, which could have been used for a weeks worth of groceries for our family. Very disappointing.

I'm literally so repulsed having lunch! I just waited 20 min. for my drink while watching the bar tender sip a monster and have social hour. Then grab a piece of sour string and start chowing down on it holding it above her mouth and lowering it in to her mouth in front of customers. Still hadn't gotten my drink as I continue to witness her WIPE HER NOSE AND THEN HANDLE THE DRINKS!! I wanted to PUKE never will I ever come here again. I had the cutest waitress, Tia, but the bartender Kayla was so disgusting #sorrynotsorry

Bartender ignored me and was rude. Food cold. Never again. So close to home but never will be a regular. Too bad chick, we are great tippers!

This is a sad review for me to write as I frequent here a lot and have not had an issue up until tonight. Now, with that said this is not a review on the entire establishment rather the late night Saturday bar crew. As I do always, we sat at the bar and had a few drinks and order happy hour appetizers. Well, after a shared couple of apps we were still hungry and ordered some spinach and artichoke dip. On a regular day this would be no issue and the order would have sufficed our appetites, but on this occasion the order was delivered to a few guests down the bar who happily and disrespectfully accepted whole heartedly knowing it was not theirs. From their mouths directly "whatever, it looks good". Now you are probably thinking... this isn't the full fault of the resturant as the guests should have never accepted... correct, however the staff responded with a .... "oh those weren't for you" and allowed them to enjoy them at no cost with a smile and fake scold. They then turn to us and said "a new order will be out shortly". (The other guests laughed at us btw, and didn't offer any apology.) Well you would think the story ends here... wrong... the bartender returned shortly after with an over cooked dip and stale crumbled chips. (60% unable to be used in dip without sticking half your arm into the bowl) A large chunk frozen together like a rock! Many of you would have just said take it back but the bartender avoided us like the plague until a credit card was sitting on the bar ready to pay. The short of the story... I had to pay for crappy service and food while other guests enjoyed free food and attention... Congrats Applebees you win the customer appreciation award of the month!

We really like the happy hour prices. Beer is always cold. Food is always good. Bathrooms are clean. And the bill ends up being fair. The machines on the tables helps when waitresses are busy.

So glad so to see them back up and running. service is amazing every time I come. Discovering new favorites on the menu is always the best part.

I love their artichoke spinach dip, no matter how bad all that salt is for me. I don't love getting a glass of water after ordering iced tea, or getting regular fries after ordering sweet potato fries. I also don't like not being offered the option for a "pink" burger rather than "no pink" when it states those options are available on the menu, or being ignored when I request it, even if the burger is great. (My table mates had to insist on it for me.) The guys didn't have a single problem with their orders.

Stopped by for lunch with my wife, we often come here and have a quick lunch or dinner. They added some new burgers and whatnot and one of my favorite items sweet potato fries. I decided on their new Triple Bacon Burger with sweet potato fries. I would have to say to my surprise that this was without a doubt the best burger I've ever gotten from Applebee's. Cooked properly, seasoned well and the bacon was crispy. The cheddar and the BBQ sauce accompanied the rest of the burger well. The fries were also very good, crispy on the outside and nice a soft on the inside. Our waitress Jen was on point and was a pleasure to be severed by. I would say however that if this experience didn't go so good I would have only given them 3 stars beings we have had some issues before this visit, but sense this visit was right on point and pleasurable...... 4 stars it is.

Meh... Applebee's is Applebee's; not much has changed. But I had a business meeting yesterday evening and was given the option of dining at the local greasy spoon and eating a plate of slimy, artery clogging vomit or eating at Applebee's, I voted for Applebee's. Everyone in my party was pleased with their choices. In particular, the salads got high praise. My friend and I opted for the 2 for $20 deal, which is two entrees (each with their own side) and one app to split. We chose the artichoke and spinach dip and chips to share. The portion was larger than I've had it the past. It was enough for the entire table to nibble on. I got the Fiesta Lime chicken which was much better prepared than the last time I got it. It was cooked perfectly, moist and tender. The rice had some of that crunchy "pegao", which I enjoyed, but most diners probably would have complained. Our server was prompt, but our food was not and I was a little concerned we would all be late the meeting we were prepping for. Our server didn't hover, but was prompt with the check. I'm not sure if she kept her distance because we were having a meeting, or if she was just lazy. This location is kinda hit or miss but overall it was an okay experience.

If you know you know. The happy hour appetizers half off? You couldn't beat it with a baseball bat. The boneless wings will really have you bowing to the chef like he's a monk. The quesadillas are great but they do charge extra for sour cream they shady for that. The long islands will have you wavy like Soul Surfer and they are included in happy hour as well. A+ from me . No cap included

If you're looking for something amazing and unique this isn't the place. You're going to get mediocrity all around here. The service is usually fine and the food is what you'd expext from a chain. Sides are microwaved and mains are frozen preps. The pluses here are the bar, cheap drinks, and you can get a bit rowdy if you'd like! I even found an employee passed out in the men's room once!

Very good burger but ice cold fries. I should've complained but I didn't. My fault I guess. Apparently it's difficult to have my entire meal come out hot.

Kids Mac and cheese was clumped and cold. French onion soup was only half full, cold, no broth. Ceasar salad - brown lettuce, bland dressing. 5 Cheese penne good taste, lukewarm. Neighborhood nachos ok. We were there after lunch. Alot of food and drinks flying by. Not sure why food was cold.

Terrible as usual. Went in to grab a quick bite and ordered apps. They were cold and the chips were drenched in salt. The waiter was an ass and said that's how they come. I asked if they made them in the restaurant, he said yes we fry the tortillas here and then we put salt. I asked for a new order and he told me no they will come out like that again. I asked for the check, then he offered to refill my drink. When he returned he told me he checked with the manager and nothing could be done about the apps. I doubt he asked. He was annoyed and sloppy looking. Won't be returning to this location.

Very poor service received by a waitress by the name of Rachel. I had a lemonade along with my order. I finished my lemonade before our food came out. When Rachel came with our food I asked her whenever she had a chance if she could bring me a refill of lemonade. She said sure. A few minutes goes by and I noticed she refilled some drinks for others at the other end of our table. She forgot mine (which is fine - we all forget sometimes). She then goes to another table and starts chatting and taking their order. My boyfriend flags her down and asks for my refill as now ~10 minutes have passed since I have asked for a refill. She cuts him off mid-sentence and says "lemonade, got it." At this point she goes back chatting up the other table and then proceeds to go to the bar and get their margaritas. At this point, I was getting frustrated, so I went to the bar and asked for a lemonade. At this point Rachel snatches my cup out of my hand and says "I've got your refill." I go back to my seat and when she comes with my drink I say thank you and she completely ignores me. I'm very disappointed that I had to deal with this woman's presence today. She really put a sour touch to my Easter afternoon. Needless to say, I will not make the mistake again of being a customer at this establishment.

I really love this place. The service is great. Alot of the servers are cool. Whats even better is the food and a lot to pick from.

Myself,husband & Sister ate here. We Had to flag down another waitress two separate times. No silverware, ran out of soda mid dinner,cold fries,hard chicken, waited 27 mins just for soup (appetizer). My sister asked for no onions and she got them. I asked for sauce and finally got it after my meal. I actually left to sit in the car and called the manager. He Apologized, credited our dinner. Regional office sent a giftcard which I gave as a present for my niece's birthday! Never Again!!!! June 11, 2012

Riblets are not ribs! I have Applebees on the do not frequent list. The one thing this Applebees used to have going for it is that it served the local beer Blue Collar. When that went out of business, nothing was left. The burgers are frozen and served on dry buns. There is nothing on the menu that shines. While one may come across something that is okay, the menu changes frequently so it is not likely he will be able to repeat that order. This is a popular spot so the wait is usually significant. Applebees did add curbside service. We have used that and it has worked well. We order ahead of time and there are three parking spots directly in front. A waitress comes out and brings the food and can run a credit card from your vehicle.

This is a very consistent chain restaurant. The beer is always ice cold and the happy hour specials are great. We like mom and pop, but like I said, for a chain, this is ok

Visited this establishment on Friday January 4th, 2019. It was a typical busy Friday night when we arrived and had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Which is no big deal. Once we were sat our server I didnt get her name was absolutely great. She brought us our refills very timely. She was very attentive to our needs and was very friendly. Our food was done to perfection I usually get the three cheese chicken penne and it was very good. Overall the food, the staff and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. I will revisit this restaurant again in the near future.

We've been here twice in August...twice too many. First time the key lime chicken didn't have much taste at all; probably because it had so much cheese. Rice was cold and tasteless...no flavor at all. Combo appetizer wasn't bad, but had trouble with dipping into spinach dip..again because of so much cheese. Never thought I'd complain because of too much cheese, but it was just excessive and couldn't taste much else. Husband's chicken was over cooked and dry. Service was lacking. We waited quite a while for our food. Server never cleared away dirty dishes and never checked back to refill our drinks. I went to the hostess to request more since our server had disappeared.I We decided we'd try again figuring maybe the first time was an off night. Tonight was even more of a disappointment. We had to wait outside in the rain before being seated even though there was room under the tent away from tables especially since some tables were empty. Several servers huddled under an umbrella at the hostess station. We got our drinks and shortly after were told we'd have to take our food to go since there was a storm approaching. Fine except we went there because we did not want take out, but wanted to sit and relax with a friend we don't see often. Food took forever. We requested take out drinks since ours were empty or watery by now and also requested our bill so we could pay it and be ready to leave when we finally got our food. Again waiter disappeared after dropping off bill even though I was ready to pay. Drinks came much later after food was delivered so our food was cold. This is absolutely our last trip to Applebee's. good is so so and takes forever to get. The only thing the servers do well is huddle under the umbrella at the hostess station or inside the door. Such a shame because we generally begin our tip at 20% and go above for decent service.

Although I am not a big bar person, I am a big wing person and Applebees has the biggest wings around! The beer is cold and I always get a nice frosty, tall glass. The burgers are great compared to the fast food chains, especially when you consider how much they are charging at the fast food places and what you get for it! The ribs are just the way I like them whether they are dry or with one of their sauces. Let me tell you what makes all these dishes really shine though....Its the people. The servers are very attentive and are actually smiling and seem happy. I have been to the other area eateries like long horn, chills, Bennigans, texas road house, Cosmo, Bob Evans, you name it, I have eaten there several times over, and none of them come close to Applebees for their service, the friendly attitude of the staff there and the bang for the buck you get as far as food is concerned. A couple of things to try when you go: wings but get them dry with the sauce on the side. Chicken wontons......trust me they are just great with a yueng or two. the bacon burger with the onion rings, not sure what its called but get it.

Service was great but the 4 cheese Mac and cheese doesn't represent the menu at all. It was disgusting. The flavor was microwavable cardboard. Don't order food stick to go for happy hour. The Mac and cheese had way tooo much honey sauce.

I had been here many times. I always liked the food in this restaurant whenever I visited. It's always crowded. The staffs are very polite too but I think they should think of revising their menu from time to time considering the locals and their preferences.

The service at the Applebee's in Vineland was excellent the food was good Brenda was an amazing waitress! My only complaint is that it was very cold making it hard to keep my food warm nevertheless the manager Chris came to the table to make sure all we were ok n it was my only complaint Chris was very courteous kind and funny as well so that's Why am going to give them a five star because of the small gesture and my decision is also influenced by the amazing waitress we had Brenda you were the best and I hope you get like a bonus or something from being shout out on yelp because you did a really great job and I appreciated that you got your manager for you and he was the bomb great too thanks manager Chris we will be back again
