April Cottage

A lovely quaint little traditional B&B. Clean, comfortable and great value. Sandra treats you like one of the family and makes you feel very welcome (but doesn't fuss). She also cooks an amazing breakfast which was great for the trip ahead of us.

Stayed here for a wedding in April. Left my car in the drive, came back and they moved my car, even though my keys were in our LOCKED room and they didn't even call to check if that was OK. Then tried to charge for two nights stay instead of 1 like we agreed on the phone.

Lovely cosy little B&B great night sleep! good breakfast and very nice couple running it would definitely stay again when I'm back!

This is an excellent bed and breakfast, the premises is a small cottage, but tardis like, small on outside and larger on inside. The rooms are well laid out, the beds really comfy. The breakfast is lovely and filling. The hospitally is excellent, I would compare it to visitng friends, not staying in a strangers home. Tavistock is an ideal base for touring, you are 12 miles from Princetown, on the moors, 30 minute drive to Plymouth,m yet Tavistock itself is a lovely town, very oldie worldie and has a pannier market on Tuesdays to Saturdays.
