"Located at the edge of a private racetrack at Porche’s North American headquarters in Hapeville, this Mediterranean restaurant is located inside the Kimpton Overland Hotel, formerly known as Solis Two Porche Drive. It’s one of the area’s most upscale dining establishments, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, from spinach and ricotta croissants to seared trout with crimini mushrooms and collard green pesto. The restaurant also features a respectable bar program, with a Woodford Reserve Manhattan (purchase supports the No Kid Hungry Foundation) and plenty of local beer on draft and in bottles, including Hapeville neighbor Arches Brewing, and others. And cocktails like the slightly spicy Hot Landing (mezcal, pineapple, jalapeño honey) are great sipping choices when watching a pricy sports car swerve around the racetrack curves or a Delta jet coming in for a landing viewed from the panoramic rooftop patio. Reservations highly encouraged. Masks required." - Mike Jordan

Had dinner with friends from VA. The wives got the red snapper with garlic spinach and creole rice. The seasoning and presentation were nice, but they said the portion could have been bigger. My buddy had the pork chop with roasted potatoes and brussel sprouts. It was thick, and when he cut it to share with his wife, it was super tender and juicy (pause). Ribs are one of my favorites, and they had a Carolina barbecue slab, so I HAD to try it. It came with asparagus, and I subbed the potatoes for spinach. It was soo good that the girls helped me with half. I took he other half home so I could enjoy in the comfort of my own home. Absolutely amazing! Our table had a window view of the private airport and the Porche Sport Test track to add a nice touch of ambiance. Pricey but worth it for an exclusive experience.

Man - I’m not sure what is going on here for lunch. It seems like the place is understaffed - the menu was extremely limited (not like their website at all - only 6-7 options, all sandwiches and salads). They were out of the only vegetarian option (grilled cheese and tomato soup), so my only option was to order a Cobb salad with no meat…so it was just lettuce, tomatoes, and bleu cheese. Took a very long time for us to get our food and we were the only people in the restaurant during lunch. Will not come back

My friend brought me here. I'm happy she did. The service was great & the food was amazing. I would definitely love to come back & recommend others to do the same.

I had a reservation on a Tuesday night and we were seated right away. The bar was full but the restaurant wasn’t. The fried green tomatoes for an appetizer was a hit. The bourbon salmon was perfect. My party loved the Cajun pasta. I’ll be back to try other entrees.

Google
Great hidden gem. Staff is pretty good. They are in the process of hiring. Desperately needed. Food is good. It's a sexy little get away for two. Not for kids.

Google
Food is so bland. The “chanterelles” that came with the pork were just 3 button mushrooms slices. The croquettes were dry corn bread. 6 defrosted bland shrimp cost almost 20$. The chicken was dry and flavorless. I had to eat here 3 days in a row because of a work trip. I recommend DoorDash instead if you’re staying at this hotel.

Google
The service here is pretty spotty. Sometimes it's great and other times it's terrible. The food is decent, maybe a touch over priced for the level of service that comes with it. I paid $6 for a cup of coffee and no one came to check to see if I wanted a refill, it was not fabulous coffee to paying that much for. I will probably just order food from now on if I need to go back.

Google
What a waste of space this place could’ve been absolutely amazing. We were there tonight with a group of six. The server was unintelligent and terrible. The service was very slow. The food was mediocre at best. The part that really was upsetting as we had a table of six gratuity was included, and the server did not even let us know that in order to encourage additional tips. It is a shame that this is what passes for service.

Yelp
This was our 1st experience at Apron. The wife and I had pasta we shared which was creole spicy and delicious. 5 Stars to Samatha Jenkins Food Manager at the restaurant for her professionalism and keen attention to detail. She deserves a raise. When you visit Atlanta this is a wonderful spot to visit for Breakfast lunch or Dinner.

Yelp
I've visited Apron for dinner twice - once for Valentine's Day and recently. The experiences were so different. Valentine's Day was 4 stars and recent experience was 2 stars. Valentine's Day was a fixed price menu with selections for salads, entrees and dessert. The restaurant was packed and there were a lot of people working, at least 2 hosts and multiple servers, I would guess 5. Because it was so crowded it took a minute for our server to greet us but after that, it was all smooth sailing. We made our selections and our food came out hot and delicious; so good that we decided we'd come back. On our Valentine's Day visit, we got a look at someone's burger and decided we'd come back and try it. This recent visit was the exact opposite of Valentine's Day. No one was at the host stand. We waited quite a while to be seated and the person who seated us was talking to a bar patron while we stood there. Not off to a good start. Once we were seated, it took a while for our server to come but this made sense because they were solidly busy and there were only 2 people working the table and 1 person at the bar. There were some other people coming and going from the bar but I never saw any of them work a table. Our server was super nice, but we had the longest wait for ketchup I've ever had - at least 7-8 minutes. My fries were cold and I'd given up on my meal by the time she brought it. My burger looked great and it was hot when it arrived but it had a smell. A bad smell like mop water, something wet and moldy. But it LOOKED good. At first, I thought the smell was something else - maybe something wafted from the bar being cleaned? But after a few bites, I decided it was the burger and I stopped eating it. My boyfriend thought I was crazy and asked for a to-go box for the burger. But when we got in the car, the smell was still there and it was for sure the burger. About 2 hours later, the stomach cramps started. I felt like I was going to vomit but never did, I only experienced waves of nausea. The next morning, I took some activated charcoal to clear my stomach and felt normal in a few hours. For the record, my boyfriend's burger was fine and he didn't get sick, so there was probably some random cross-contamination that happened in the kitchen to ruin my burger. With this last experience in mind, I think we'll stick to a special night when going to Apron.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place based on the price point, but was very disappointed. Do not waste your money.

Yelp
This place was a great find on the south side of town. There are not many great options , but this place is the bomb.com. Great service , vibey atmosphere and a wonderful rooftop view! It's a must see and must eat!! The southern finest cocktail was a hit! The cajun pasta had me thinking I was in Nawlins! The fried green tomato's and the Brussel sprouts were delish! Don't forget to have dessert!

Yelp
We came here on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was empty. We ordered the pork chop and the red snapper; both were very dry. The pork chop my wife sent back, I ate the red snapper despite being very salty. The spinach and rice that it came with were both overly salted. For $40 per entrée, not worth it at all. Will not come back.

Yelp
Came in one late night while staying at the hotel. The menu was limited and only two girls were working so the service was a bit slow, but they handled it well and were very kind. The vibe was cozy, I sat at the high tables and met up with a friend. I opted for the tacos and they were so good I had to get another order. I ate six tacos that night and I have no shame. The crème brûlée cheesecake was also delicious. On my next stay I look forward to trying a few more items in the menu.

Teal G.

Yelp
I have to say my bartender provided excellent service, was friendly, talkative, and great. The food was awful and expensive to be awful. The heirloom tomato salad was an array of cherry tomatoes of Kroger quality cut in half with 4 lost but appreciated green olives looking at 4 tiny balls of mozzarella not burrata cheese. I added a piece of salmon on top that appeared nonseasoned and cooked much beyond the point it should be. I used about half of a salt and pepper shaker and 2 lemon wedges to revive the dish as best I could. I was starving so I ate it, but it was not good at all. I added a second glass of wine because I was pretty said about this meal, which with said wine came to $90.

Yelp
This was a fun spot if you're looking for a nice place to eat near the airport. Which is exactly what we were looking for! It's part of the Kimpton hotel in Hapeville, and there is ample outdoor seating (at least enough for a weeknight!). We were concerned about the noise level sitting outside near the airport, but it wasn't an issue. You can see the planes coming in, about to land, but it wasn't insanely loud or anything. In fact, the plane landings was very exciting for the 8 year old in our party, who kept tapping all of us every time she saw one. Which was about every 5 minutes, haha. It's also right next to the Porsche Experience, so that was also a novelty factor for the little one. The restaurant doesn't have a kids menu, but they do have a few options for kids ready to go. And they were also accommodating to our dog, and tables were spread out enough that she had some space to roam on her leash. The cocktails were pretty good, and the presentation was fun. Mine (the love potion #9) came in a golden coupe glass. Very fancy. The food was standard hotel fare. A bit overpriced, a little predictable, but totally met expectations. Nobody had any complaints. I had the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was good, but a little too "blackened" for my taste. The fries it came with were nice and crispy. There is definitely something for everyone here, a couple sandwiches, shrimp and grits, fish, mac and cheese, etc. The service was leisurely, but nice, so I wouldn't count on coming here in a hurry. But it was a good experience!

Yelp
My visit here with 5 work colleagues was underwhelming. It was odd seeing all our food come out at different times. Starters didn't come out together. Entrees didn't. We were all waiting on each other. Bar service was very slow. Took over 10 minutes to get our wine orders. The salad dressings (one was pink, one was just mustard and vinegar together) were too intense and not appetizing. The fried ribs were difficult to eat and not a fan favorite. Wouldn't recommend, but we were kind of stuck with this option because of staying in the hotel. In hindsight, I would've ordered Uber Eats and eaten on the patio upstairs.

Yelp
We had a couple last minute business meetings out by the ATL airport and needed semi-private space for a dinner that could accommodate 9-10 guests. We had a bad experience the night before at a different restaurant where the service was incredibly slow. So when making the reservation at Apron, I wanted to ensure a better outcome. I spoke directly with the manager, Lon, just to make sure that they could work with the team in a timely manner and get them in and out within the 2 hour time period. They did even better than that and got the team out in 90 minutes. They were on top of the service, the food was great and the team was very happy. There aren't many options near ATL Airport, but Apron will definitely remain on my list. Highly recommended.

Craig C.

Yelp
We had large party and they accommodated us comfortably. Small menu but what they served was excellent. Nice place.

Yelp
The Apron is on the Porsche property in Hapeville inside the Krimpton Overland Hotel. This is my 2nd visit. I came a couple years ago (before Rona) with a friend and had a great time. I don't know what happened to my pics form then. We had a whiskey flight, which I don't see on the menu now. The server was going to ask the bartender but I never got an answer back. The whiskey flight was fun. My friend doesn't drink whiskey normally so that was fun in & of itself. Then, we came on a Friday, late afternoon or early evening and the bar and restaurant were bustling with activity. It was lively and an electric vibe. My husband &I came around 9:20 pm on Friday 11/12/21 and the vibe was more chill. There weren't many people in the bar area or the tables. They had a DJ who played some chill music, then blended old school & r&b into the mix but the technique wasn't as smooth as I'd like. He had great music going, but I'd get into a song, he'd mix in something else. Anyway, good music that added to the vibe. I was looking forward to the whiskey flight but when I didn't see it, I ordered the Barrel Aged Meaningful Manhattan. It was very good & is for an important cause, so I had to support. ‍ At the end of our meal I ordered the Pecan Green Tea Toddie. Be ready to go to sleep after that one1 lol. You can order it holt or cold. Since it was a cool Fall night, I chose the hot version. I'm a bourbon drinker and like a good toddie, & not just when I'm sick, but bay-bayyyy! I asked for simple syrup to go into. ‍ that made it better to me. My husband started with the butternut squash hummus & I had the Autumn Salad. I liked my salad with baby kale, thin apple slices, Autumn squash, goat cheese, & carrots. It came with a honey walnut vinaigrette and I wish I had a smidge more of it but it was good. The hummus was better and I wish I'd ordered it. I considered getting one to go lol. It's a slightly sweet hummus due to the butternut squash of course, but it really works. It was different and tasty. For entrees, my husband ordered the shrimp & grits with the sauce on the side & extra shrimp. The additional shrimp aren't pictured as they came in the side after I took the pictures. He doesn't like waiting for me to take pictures of his food so I had to rush it smh. The dish was flavorful and well seasoned. The shrimp on the side were seasoned very well. He asked for salt for the main meal, but can sometimes ask for salt when I don't see the need. The shrimp are large, the sausage complements the flavors & the grits were perfect, making for a thick creamy hearty meal. He liked the sauces and added it gingerly to the first bite. He said it had a slight kick but then poured some into the bowl. It looked like marinara sauce, but I didn't taste it. He said it worked well in the meal. I ordered the pan seared trout and it was very good! I could've had the skin a little crispier but the flavors were there. Under the trout is the butternut squash hash. When I think of hash, I think if potatoes, but there weren't any in the dish. Go figure. I was a little concerned about what the "hash" would look and taste like but figured it was the side, not the main part of the meal, so no worries. Luckily, it was good and was basically Brussel sprouts cut in half and butternut squash diced and tossed in seasonings & some garlic. It's a large amount so thankfully, it was good. I was stuffed and probably content after the Autumn Salad so no dessert. Although, I did want to try the Caribbean banana pudding. When I wanted to order, it was after 10 & the kitchen was closed. I can't wait to try it next time. It has plantains instead of bananas. Next time... I'd recommend Apron for a good vibe to chill or be lively depending on the time you arrive, different creative dishes, good drinks. I've yet to see a car go around the track but would like to return and witness this also as part of the restaurant allows you to see the Porsches driven around the track. Sounds cool, right?

Keya B.

Yelp
They get 2 stars. 1 star for the ambiance and 1 star for the kind work staff. Kind but incompetent work staff in extreme need of stronger management. Food took way too long to come out. Orders given to the wrong tables. When the food finally came it was cold, soggy and the taste was outright mediocre. Drinks were good. However I had to ask for refill of my water after over an hour. The place wasn't even packed so there was no reason for the horrible, inexcusable service. I would have felt better if there was an apology or offer of a drink or dessert on the house. Something to show remorse for our experience. However, we didn't even get a simple "I'm sorry." I shall never return, nor do I recommend to anyone.

Mandy N.

Yelp
The convenience of having a quality restaurant connected to your hotel is refreshing! The Apron is located on the first floor of the hotel but they also have a rooftop bar that you can order food from too. The establishment was very clean and the service was great! Our waiter knew everything about the food on the menu and we even made it during complimentary wine hour! (5-6pm)! We enjoyed FOUR free glasses along with the food posted. We also tried the chicken with egg plant and the pecan tart (not pictured) but it was also very delicious. Will no doubt visit again. It's fun to constantly watch the planes land and take off. This place is family/kid friendly as well.

Julie T.

Yelp
Would really have liked to eat here, especially since you are an AIRPORT hotel. When I arrive at 10 minutes until closing after a very long travel day, I expect you to offer something to eat. Sorry , my daughter has worked in restaurants for years and on a Saturday night you should be open until your posted hours. Not sorry the kitchen has already closed. An hour later we are eating Chinese delivery in our expensive room so we can get up and make a 7 am flight. Disappointing fir an IHG property.

Jennifer B.

Yelp
We stayed at the Kimpton Overland (this restaurant is inside) and always like to try the onsite restaurant. It was a rainy Friday and after 9pm, so we booked open table reservations and headed in. We definitely didn't need reservations as the place was pretty empty. Service was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere was cool. It's a dark, open concept with a big bar and various seating areas. Drink menu is very nice. Well curated bar with some good drinks. Both of ours were a touch sweet though no simple syrup was listed as an ingredient. We got the Atlanta and Money Business. The two stars are because the drinks were fairly good. The food and lack of information by our server deserves zero stars. The menu is not vegan friendly at all. We usually can create a meal based on sides though. They did have one cauliflower dish on the menu that was vegetarian. So we informed our server we were vegan and talked through a plan to get the cauliflower without mayo and the sides from some of the other dishes. The sides included a sweet potato, broccolini, carrots, and fingerling potatoes. The food came out quickly which was great. The sides came out first. Likely, they all started out colorful and fresh, but were served in an oil slick. We hope it was oil and not butter, but can't be sure because our server didn't understand/care about our dietary restrictions. The sides weren't seasoned in any special way. The two best were the sweet potato which was roasted and the fingerling potatoes which were crispy. The cauliflower dish was strange in that there was just florets and tons of golden raisins with a light vinegary flavor. I saw Za'tar seasoning on another dish and asked for a side of the spice because my dishes needed help. The server brought it over in a small plastic cup and it was almost like a brown gravy. Not a dried spice. We dipped some food into it and I started to get a bad feeling about what was in it. Surely our server would have told us if there were animal products in this sauce since we ordered only vegetables and told him we were vegan. So we asked if there was beef or chicken broth in it and he said he'd check. He came back and told us there was beef broth in it. I am really upset that he didn't care enough to listen to us or be proactive. If you're allergic to anything or have dietary restrictions, do not come here. You will leave sick and/or disappointed.

Sofia T.

Yelp
The beef tacos came with big portions of shredded beef, tenderloin beef was very soft and cooked at perfection. The customer service is very friendly, the hostess always smile and are helpful.

Melissa R.

Yelp
Beautiful presentation and great taste but I don't know about this place. Everyone in my party experienced stomach pains and discomfort shortly after we left. My stomach still isn't feeling right I personally would not recommend

Toya S.

Yelp
I will start with the positive. The restaurant is beautiful. It has a nice chill vibe, open concept with nice decor. There was a band playing and they were really good and the music selection was good. There was an available table outside that we were seated at which was very nice as the sun was going down and it wasn't that hot. The food was okay. It was to be expected as I had read the other reviews before coming. I ordered the jumbo "crispy" wings with a side of fries. My wings wasn't as crispy as I had hoped for and I got fruit instead of the fries. The waiter did bring the fries out later and apologize for the mix up. I ordered the blue sky for my drink and while it did taste good, the alcohol was strong. The service is definitely slow but I think it's because it was only 2 servers, a host, 1 bar attendant and the cook staff of course is hidden. But, 1 guy from the kitchen was helping serve the food. There was a large party there celebrating that really spread the other server thin. If they maybe had 1 more server, things may have move smoother for the other guest. I know for me, when it was time to check out, I think my server forgot about my table and I had to take my ticket to the bar to check out. Overall, despite the service, I liked the place, I didn't enjoy my food as much, but for a nice night cap with a live band, I will be back to enjoy that. I did overhear the band say they play at this location every other weekend but I didn't get the name of the band. I also think if the hotel had the rooftop bar open, that would help the restaurant out with service. There were a lot of people coming in from the hotel just for a drink. We did visit the rooftop bar, which would've been nice if it was open.

Debbie F.

Yelp
I was here on May 26th for a friend's birthday and the beginning of the night was great! Although the main entree was not as good as I expected, the appetizers were great! The night took an unfortunate turn when it was time for me to get my check and all of a sudden, there was an issue with how the bill was going to be processed. I asked the manager, I'm still waiting and my frustration level is reaching an all time high! I I have a ten o'clock funeral to attend and I'm still waiting to leave... I've been waiting for FOURTY-FIVE MINUTES! I DO NOT recommend this eating establishment to anyone! I truly believe the waiter was lying about not being able to locate a manager- I think he was a scammer and didn't deserve the obscene tip he received

Maria L.

Yelp
My husband and I were charged an 18% gratuity on our bill for 2 people for breakfast????? The service was poor. Probably because staff doesn't have to worry about tips as customers are charged one way or the other. Our total for 2 people, with their ridiculous service charge, was $67.91. We waited to be seated, my husband was told they were out of espresso, service was stilted and took too long. Food was average. I complained about the service charge when checking out of the hotel at the front desk and was told to speak with the restaurant manager. I think the manager was one of the people who waited on us and I had to catch my plane. I would not eat here again. Kimpton, customer service at this hotel needs work.

Linda M.

Yelp
B Great food and service. Perfect for a birthday celebration or private gathering for family

Stephen G.

Yelp
Pretty good weekday evening business dinner. Nice menu range, and reasonable bar drinks. Great burgers. Pretty quiet on a Tuesday because I think of location. But would recommend and revisit when back in town.

Nina K.

Yelp
This is a brand new American restaurant that opened 5 months ago near the Porsche plant in Hapeville, GA. It's connected to the Solis Hotel, so guests have the option to charge the meal to their hotel room. I gave it 4 stars due to the following: 1. Location: it is further on the Southside of town, so anyone that is in town might have a problem with the distance. 2. Parking: there isn't any regular parking for the restaurant itself, you must valet. 3. Setting: the restaurant is roomy with plenty of nice seating areas, including a great outside seating space. 4. Price: the cocktails are a bit expensive, $12-$16 for a specialty cocktail. However, the food was decently priced given the quality was excellent. 5. Food: the quality of the food was excellent. Everything we had were delicious. Kudos to the chef! Overall, I would definitely dine there again if I am in the same part of town, but, I wouldn't go out of my way to get here.

Yelp
We visited Apron in Atlanta to celebrate a birthday. They were expecting us and we were seated immediately by Cynthia who was most gracious and hospitable. Our waitress, Angela, promptly came to our table to review the menu, answer our questions, render some excellent recommendations and take our orders. The manager, Lon, who coincidentally directed us to the restaurant upon our entrance into the building, came by the table and chatted with us for several minutes. It was then that we learned much about the hotel, it's relationship with Porshe and the airline industry. He shared that the track adjacent to the restaurant is used by Porsche to give paying patrons a race car experience. We look forward to our next visit to Apron and having an even better dining experience. Dr. Easley

Yelp
Had a wonderful meal both days at Apron. . The braised short rib is off menu. Absolutely the restaurant secret because chef cooked it just right. So tender..no knife needed. Well seasoned...brought me back to Paris. Nice selection on cabs and to die for Manhattan. Thank you for a wonderful Friday dinner.

Clarke P.

Yelp
Bad food and bad service! Once seated it took 30 minutes for someone to come take our drink order then another 45 minutes to bring our food out after taking that order. The food was cold and flavor was well below subpar. Waiter seamed inexperienced. Not happy with any of it. The pasta, Chicken dish, tacos, and soup is extremely disappointing.

Latonya J.

Yelp
The staff was really friendly and polite. We had a few hiccups, that were fixed and appreciated. For example, my drink (rising sun) was a little too strong for my liking. My order was ready first and they had my guest order wrong. So they took my food back so that it can be ready with my guest. Luckily it was still hot. With Covid and most places being short staffed, I didn't hold this against them too harshly. It was about 2 to 3 people working and a birthday party was happening which took most of the attention from the few staff that was working. My meal was the shrimp and grits. The grits were very rich and creamy. 5 huge shrimp came with it, but the grits is what will get you full (incase you come starving like I was) overall This place is great for drinks and socializing. The menu was more fitting for appetizers and small plate type meals, unless shrimp and grits is your thing which appeared to be the only full sized meal. There was a band playing great music that was head-bop and two step worthy! I would give this place another try as it has great potential if they are fully staffed. I would come earlier in the evening before it gets too busy.

Neelu R.

Yelp
Hipster meets modern edge vibe. Very welcoming and clean cut corners, I really liked the feel walking in after a long day of traveling. The host was very gracious and sat us at a booth, sweet and snug away from the filled tables. The sweetest waitress, Tonaye guided us through the menu as I nitpicked and prodded at each item, she was amazing and answered all my questions! I've ordered a hot toddy in several states over the last few months but this is the first to ask me what type of tea I would like with it and if I prefer upper shelf spirits!! Tonaye made me the best hot toddy...I'm loving it, chamomile, Hennessy with a swirl of honey and spritz of lemon cough died down instantly. Ordered: Veal ossoboco: delish! With creamy polenta and sage Caesar salad minus the anchovies with chicken: crisp and fresh Roman we ordered the dressing on the side. Chicken was juicy and tender. Shirizi salad: crispy pepperchini made this dish 10 out of 10!! Dolmeh: basic but if you haven't had it before it is impressive.

Yelp
I went to Apron on Saturday located in the Kimpton Overland hotel where the Porche Experience is located. Very nice ambiance, and there was a dope jazz band playing. The menu was pretty sparse but she said it's due to pandemic. Not a lot of people there, so easy to social distance. The service was delightful. i had the pork chop which was ok but needed a little more flavor, I also tasted the steak and it was very good. The drinks were good and surprisingly strong enough. I definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
We had an excellent dinner here. Agnes was our server and took such great care of us! We came with a group of 15 and started upstairs at the bar overlooking the airport and the Porsche driving track. Great spot for a drink! Nice view and good wine selection. For the food, we started with several appetizers for the table... charcuterie plate, hummus plates, crab cakes, gnocchi... everything was great and super tasty! For my main, I had the carbonara. Others tried the steak and chicken. Everything was very nice.

Yelp
Made a reservation for 1:45pm on Mother's Day for 8 people. Lunch menu is very simple and limited (salads, burgers, sandwiches, tenders) and yet by 3pm none of our meals was out. Server said chef had advised that our food would be out in ~10 minutes more but that she looked and none of our meals had been started. We left at 3:05pm hungry and extremely disappointed. People who came after us where already eating when we left.

Yelp
Went out for a mom daughter dinner. Ready for a good time and a good meal... Ordered appetizers and our entrées. My server I forgot to put my order in and brought my appetizer burnt. Requested a plate to eat the appetizer and he forgot to bring that and ended up eating right out of the pot. Came back later and asked me if I was going to order something more than just the appetizer and I told him I was waiting for my meal of which he looked at me blankly. I will never visit this restaurant again.

Yelp
I stumbled across this place online when someone else posted about it. I wasn't even aware that they had built a hotel on the Porsche Experience campus... let alone added another restaurant and a rooftop lounge. I made reservations online because I wanted to make sure there would be no issues with seating. I pulled up and was somewhat confused by the parking but valet is recommended. Upon entry into Solis (which is where the restaurant is housed), I was thoroughly impressed. The decor was absolutely chic and beautiful filled with hues of teal and champagne. The front desk staff greeted me and were very engaging. Walked into Apron and the decor did not disappoint. It looks amazing. For a picky eater like me... the menu didn't offer much selection since I do not eat seafood. However, LET ME TELL YOU... I ordered the Caesar salad minus the anchovies and I substituted the normal dressing for white vinagrette (mouth waters). Hands down, best salad I ever had in my entire life. For my entree, I had the NY Strip accompanied with brussel sprouts and brown butter mashed potatoes. I need you all to hear me as I type this...this steak can definitely compete with any of the true steakhouses in Atlanta. Everything on the plate was scrumptious. If it wasn't country to lick the plate, I probably would have LOL! The chef came out to greet us and thank us for coming out. That is something I can surely appreciate. My server was awesome too. I cannot recall his name but wait ... I still have the receipt. FOUND IT! His name was Whitfield. Loved him! Will return and ask for him by name. He was helpful with answering my questions and he is the reason I decided to try sprouts for the first time ever in life. THANKS Whitfield!! Bottom line... GO! You will be glad you did. Oh and the rooftop has live music on certain nights... GO! Why are you still here reading this? You should be on your way to Apron! :)

Yelp
The service is terrible, it wasn't busy enough to say "oh I can understand". 1. We were not welcomed 2. stood at the host stand for too long 3. told "you can go sit over there" and she pointed to a table. Then the chicken on the grilled chicken sandwich was BURNT (I mean not just a little!) most of the outside was black. Additionally it was dry from being over cooked and burnt, so that was sent back and requested a different plate but it took twice as long as the first set of orders to come out. The rest of the food had good flavor it was pretty decent but overpriced in reality. Just in general a bit overpriced for what you get. Only recommendation: the macaroni and cheese It's $7 but for the price, flavor and quality it was the only thing worth it on the menu. The trout was good and had very nice flavors but priced $29 and a bit much for the restaurant it's being served in the crab cake flavors were also very good.

Yelp
Was visiting this restaurant for the 1st time I had out-of-town guests and. Needless to say, I was not impressed from the get. I made reservations for 1130am for a brunch. No one was in the restaurant and from 11:45 to 1150 we finally found a server. They informed us that because the hotel has 150 guests they are doing a buffet-style breakfast. We were hungry and had another place to visit so we thought we'd give it a go the eggs were running and cold everything was below room temperature. Everything looked picked over and was the last of the last so we were not able to do seconds. the bacon was good, And the cocktails were excellent. Our server Tabitha was good and unfortunately, she was given poor circumstances to work with. We finally get our bill it was $144. yes, that's right for cold food and cocktails. which I wouldn't have mine paying, and if everything was above par or at least servable. 2 managers later and I mean that...lol We agreed on a price of $90. When you attach your name to the brand Porsche you expect excellence or at least Great. Needless to say, we would have had a better time at IHOP. Hopefully, in the future, they will do better

Yelp
I came with a group of friends for my guys birthday on March 12th and the food was subpar. I had the Salmon dish and I'll give it a 4/10. You all need to hire a solid chef to make tasty food. Please do better. The vibe is too good to not have good tasty food. One of my friends said and I quote 'Food tastes like it came out of a can' ‍ Please do better

Yelp
Great place for lunch! Comfortable atmosphere and overlooks the Porsche HQ and part of the test track. There is dining al fresco if the weather cooperates, which is frequently in Atlanta. The bar and wine selection is wonderful. I higher recommend the tuna niçose. The tuna was done a perfect med rare. The greens were so fresh and clean, which can be challenging for leaf types of lettuce. So many times that type of letttuce comes out wet and soggy from recent washing. The dressing was light and did not overpower the dish. The service was excellent throughout, from the hostess to the servers and wait staff. I will be back!

Yelp
I stayed at the connected hotel while traveling on business. The food, ambiance, and staff were amazing. The rooftop view is amazing as well.

Yelp
Don't bother and save your money! 4 dinner options. Extremely overpriced. Martinis served in champagne glasses half full. 15 minutes to get a drink. Told they didn't have lemons for water. For being next to the Porsche driving experience and a Kimpton hotel restaurant they should be embarrassed! We come to Atlanta regularly and this was hands down the worst experience we have ever had!

Yelp
Service in here is a treat. Very friendly and engaging. Willing to customize our orders to our preferences. Menu is a bit limited for lunch but we were happy with our food. I ate here because I stayed at the hotel. Unfortunately that is the only reason to eat here.

Yelp
No reservation needed on a Friday evening for 2. Very welcoming staff! We were seated immediately and offered something to drink and menus. We decided on appetizers and we're stuff after having them so didn't get to try a main course. The calamari was fried to perfection and the hummus was spot on! Tonaisha was a phenomenal server from start to finish. Valet parking is available and can be validated by the restaurant. Great experience from start to finish. Looking forward to returning soon.

Yelp
The food was delicious, as were the cocktails and wine, and our waitress Agnes brightened up our night. She suggested the Trout which was delicious, and the wine- which paired perfectly. Hats off!

Yelp
Some friends and I dined at The Apron tonight to celebrate our birthdays. I recommended the restaurant. I had been several times. But I had not been in over 6 or 7 months. Upon arriving, the first changed I notice was Overland Hotel charged for parking. I immediately called restaurant from my car and asked if they validated. I was told yes. Our reservation was for 6pm. We were not seated until 6:30pm. The restaurant only had TWO staffers beside kitchen staff. The guy who checked us in, was also seating people and taking orders. The other staffer was the bartender. The food did come out fairly quick. And all of our dishes were delicious. After dinner, we took in the airport sites from the rooftop. We prepare to exit and learn the restaurant ONLY OFFERS A DISCOUNT ON PARKING. This was very upsetting to me and my guest. After spending over $200 for dinner... we were hustled for parking money!!!! Really??? Porsche is suffering...they need to hit up people for parking money??? SAD

Yelp
The staff is incredible. Good is equivalent to IHOP, but the coffee is phenomenal and the environment is awesome.

Yelp
The food was good. We went for brunch. If you are looking for good customer service don't get your hopes up. The service was awful! Our waitress was slow and no knowledge of the menu. She never smiled. For what you pay you think they would be on point. I guess they have not been hit by an secret shopper yet. Let's see if we can change that.

Yelp
Bedded in the Hotel which made it accessible for me as I was in a business trip in the ATL area. I wasn't too happy with my shrimp on rice as it was over killed with too much sharp cheddar cheese. I felt like the chef dropped the bag of cheese by mistake. My coworkers loved their fish, veg dish and the appetizers. Try it! Just don't try that shrimp/rice with cheddar cheese dish.

Yelp
My guest and I had an amazing lunch here on Sunday 12/16. The service was excellent, the food was well portioned and so flavorful. He had the seafood stew and I had a crab cake, the shrimp Cobb salad, and then another crab cake because the first one was so good! My salad was delicious but also beautifully presented. The service by the 2 Karens was great as well. I am so glad to have a place like this on the south side of Atlanta so close to home. I plan to come here time and time again.
