I had a somewhat unpleasant experience, but I always try to give the benefit of the doubt to everyone, so I assume it was due to the fact that the employees didn't feel like working that particular day, as it was Saturday, the day in between Orthodox Good Friday and Orthodox Easter.
I'm not sure how many employees are on a daily basis there, but 1 waitress is not enough for this restaurant, which can seat quite a few people both inside and outside as it also has a terrace.
In spite of this, the waitress did her best and was not at fault for our somewhat unpleasant experience.
We tried to order a bunch of items from the menu which were not available, both from the bar and the kitchen, even though the ones from the bar could have been easily served to us, as the bartender was there, but was completely unprofessional.
I really hope that that bartender changes her attitude or I don't see her working in this industry for much longer. She clearly didn't want to be there, and she wasn't professional enough to hide that from the clients, ruining my and (most likely) other people's experience as well. When we wanted to order another round of drinks she was very dismissive saying that she's not taking any orders (probably because she wanted to go home).
We had to wait for the waitress to find time for us as she was split between us and the entire restaurant both indoors and outdoors, but, even though she was overworked, she did act professionally all the way to the end and took care of us to the best of her abilities. Kudos to her and that attitude will get her far. It's also because of her that I'm not giving this restaurant a 1 star rating.
When the bartender did finally leave, she shouted out loud to the waitress to not even bother to call her in the next time as she won't even show up.
The food in it of itself was okayish, I've eaten both better and worse.
The wait time was enormous and I've explained above why.
I'm not a local, but my girlfriend is, and, should I return to this town I'd be willing to give this restaurant another chance just to see if this was situational or habitual.
