Aqua Bar and Grill

First time experience. What had me sold was their happy hour ending at 9:00P. I didn't care for the atmosphere since the majority of the guests where "extremely young" and all you saw was this group or that group doing the latest viral dance or with their phones high in the air recording themselves singing a song (not even paying attention to their "fake" hair hitting guests multiple times). The closeness of the tables was annoying as well. I feel the DJ only catered towards the younger crowd, which was fine but when other guests enter the vibe should switch. We only stayed 1 hour before going elsewhere. Overall, it wasn't extremely horrible but it was far from the best and I'm unsure if I'll give it another chance.

Aqua Bar and Grill... if you're driving, there's not much parking in the area. The location overall - it is a party vibe type restaurant, especially during happy hour times. The music was loud. I do commend the waitstaff service of two specific working individuals, which was spectacular. The food and drinks were good (from what I was able to taste). There are only high-top tables available at the time we went - for those who have issues with that, and the spacing was more club style. The hookah was ok/good for the location but not the best for avid hookah smokers. The patronage of the area personally turned me off as it is treated as an IG spot, so everyone's constantly posting Tik Toks or on Live around you. The one bite I had of my empanada was good. I couldn't really eat my food or drink as much as I wanted, because the party behind me kept dancing crazy / over the top, therefore, kept bumping into me or my chair or had someone's extensions/braids swinging in my mouth. For me personally, it's a one-time experience location.

I’ll start off by saying I’ve been here several times and never had an issue until last night. The food and drinks were good. They play mostly Spanish music while the majority of customers are black. When the check came my friend and I decided to split the bill with two cards. The waitress charged both cards a service fee when we were paying for one bill. They try to find any type of way to get extra money because they’re not getting business unacceptable. Now I see why there was only 3 tables taken. This place went down hill and I will NEVER come back here

The atmosphere is very nice, very clean. The DJ was great. The hookah was good. The service was not so good. My bill was over $395, and we didn't have any food. The waitress forgot to put the food order in. I didn't know how she forgot it wasn't crowded. She did however gave us calamari on the house. They put too much syrupy in the margaritas. The money spent on shots we could have gotten a bottle. I won't be going back there, but check it out for yourself. You might have a different experience .

Cozy local Hookah and bar offering a nice variety of drinks and menu options. DJ was awesome. Kept the tunes trendy. My cousin enjoyed her birthday celebration,

I had a late appointment by in the area and was hungry. I did a quick Google maps search saw the food picture and yes the food is as good as the photos. My pork chops were cooked perfectly. Side salad was fresh. Service was very good too. Good staff too.

It was pretty good. All though the bar tender was rushing us to pay as if we were going to run away with the money, but I the end, I found out that she just had to go home but it was great I'll definitely go back for a visit

The music was very good and severance were very polite and kind. I will recommend anyone to come here as they will have a wonderful wonderful time.

Came here twice one for a friend b day the other for happy hour. Had a great time on both occasions. The food is delicious and the service is good. The ambiance is great always have great music. Definitely will come here again. And don't let those drinks fool you they will sneak up on you lol

A cute lil spot in the Bronx nestled right on a corner. It's cute, they have a full bar, hooka, food and a DJ. I came here on a Saturday, (just missed happy hour) not thrilled about that. Happy Hr is from 3-7pm On A SATURDAY! Which is good. The DJ was playing good mixed music. Some R&B, Hip-Hop & Dembow. I ordered a Henny Punch... It taste really good but it wasn't strong. So for $60 I knew between the picture for my friend, and I we wouldn't have much of a buzz. For the food I ordered the salmon on the bed of vegetables with mashed potatoes, and it did taste good, but the salmon was very bland. I made the most of it, nevertheless. I would return, but strictly for happy hour prices.

Happy Hour on a Wednesday! I'm really surprised by all of the bad reviews. My friend and I had a timeeeeeeee on a Wednesday evening. As soon as we entered we were escorted to a table. The menu is accessible via QR Code. Happy hour is 4pm - 9pm so that's the menu we went with. The best happy hour deal is receiving a free hookah with your food order (only mint flavor is included). We ordered teriyaki wings, tostones, steak mofonguitos and fried calamari. The food came out fairly quick and piping hot. The wings are actually real chicken wings, the garlic dipping sauce for the tostones should be bottled up and sold, the mofonguitos didn't do it for me BUT my friend was licking her fingers behind them LOL. On to the liquorrrrr.... Margaritas are $7 with a range of different flavors. I had a tamarind which was really good. Not too strong, not too sweet, perfect balance. I then moved on to the rum punch high was bomb. We were also given complimentary happy hour shots! It resembled the rum punch drink I had. Our waitress made sure we were good the entire time we were there. The DJ was playing a good mix of hip hop & Latin. We decided to order another hookah. The hookah was $20 with the choice of mint or Love 66 flavors. We went with Love 66 this time and I now have a new fav flavor. As we dined I watched the staff clean & disinfect every table after diners left. I also watched the hookah guy apply hand sanitizer to his hands before making every hookah. I removed one star due to the missing toilet seat in the bathroom stall I used..... other than that Aqua has a new customer in me. I'll be back for sure.

Because this venue is in the Bronx, we have to start this review off as a pure New Yorker.... So, aight boom... I was craving some new scenery along with good eats to cap off a cool run around day. So, my family and I hit a random search and voted to come here. The interior had almost a club look and feel. It was spacious. The music was able to blare and boom without any issues as it was aligned with sound proofing. That aside, the service was spot on. Each time you looked around, it was a server making sure that our needs were met. No complaints except get there just early enough to enjoy the happy hour and to find parking. As that area is quite like a maze. Other than that, make your way over and enjoy the vibes.

This hidden gem in the BX The first Hookha is free for the group with a purchase of food. We order a few appetizers from the happy hour menu since we just came from eating at another spot. There was no live dj, just a playlist playing mostly Spanish( music (the speakers were coming in and out) The food was good, and the vibes was a overall good The food and drinks are also supper affordable

Brunch is awesome. The food is good. The service is fast. Ambiance is very inviting. Been here a few times for happy hour and for brunch. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon for sure.

Came here for a random girls night and it was pretty chill, music popping. Drinks are fire. Hookah was OK. I feel like it could be better but that's a different story. I didn't try the food but next time that I go, I will. Word of advice to the business , please make your hookah last long. I felt like my friends and I kept paying for refills and it did no justice. Other than that, I recommend this Lowkey spot if you're ever in the Bronx area.

This experience wasn't all bad so i did want to give it a reasonable rating. Parking was cool the bouncer was sweet so nice he is 5 star, we sat down it was a Saturday so it was busy the music was great this is the part everything went Bad. We first placed a order for Hookah i guess he was busy relaxing by the dj both and never came back 20 min later we had to look for him as if we worked in the establishment That's How good the music was. The waitress was rude she hate her job and if she didn't she need a new restaurant. She was not friendly she didn't say hello , she was very bothered but we ordered food because the wait after u got Seated was 17 min . i got A salad and empanadas both was great and we got drinks. I ordered a to go plate if i wasn't so far i would have went Back and got my money back. This salmon had no seasoning the mash was dry one of the worst meals i ever had for 31 dollars. I can tell the cook took no pride in my plate. For drinks and hookah i would go back for food i would eat at home.

Amazing!! Very fast service for everything. We started with a round of drinks--I got the passion fruit margarita, and it was yummy! We followed up with appetizers and food. I had the chicken croquettes....bomb af!!! They were crispy on the outside, and the inside melted in my mouth. And it's made With chicken chicken, not nuggets or any of that. You can really taste it!! My friends got sushi, fish and chips, wings and mofongo, and it was all bomb--very well cooked and seasoned to perfection. Highly recommend!!!

It is a good size bar lounge in the Bronx with a personal DJ. The lights and seating areas were comfy. The bathroom was clean. Now, guys, I went at night to a friend's birthday party. The staff was receptive; we got our section, and the vibe was relaxed... Until!!! Now, more people starting coming in for my friends party and we informed it would be better to move to the back so we did. The birthday boy and his friends bought over 10 bottles and plenty of hookah but yet they refused to play American rap, r&b, or reggae songs. The first dj in the beginning of the night explained he was working only until the next one came and played a few songs and then switched back to Spanish songs. Honestly, do not get me wrong based on the area and the regular clientele I believe it is necessary to play what they like. Understandable however a DJ should be able to cater to everyone's musical taste and play a variety of music. The new dj now he barely spoke any English however after trying a variety of methods such as speaking to other staff he played a few rap songs, and that was it.

I went here on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm not crowded at all I believe they had just opened . Security checked me and my friends ID at the door and we were seated right away . First thing we ordered was the mint hookah and let me just say it wasn't it at all I have had way better hookah . For drinks we all got a round of frozen passion fruit margaritas very sweet but was strong and pretty good . For food we got appetizers I got the steak quesadilla which was really good my friend got the chicken quesadilla which she enjoyed . We also got a order of Buffalo wings not so good just tasted like a bunch of hot sauce . The vibe in there is layed back and cool . The music selection was good and the customer service was just ok .

Aqua bar&grill the hookah is $40. I gave the man 60 by mistake and he started making up a whole bunch of lies just to keep the 20 like this is my last time coming here it's cliped for this. GET HOOKAH SOMEWHERE ELSE, very rude and not lgbtq friendly and very racist. Drinks are watered down and hookah dosent last long . WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!

The waitress we had was super nice and made sure we were okay the entire night I loved the food and the vibe. The margaritas were good too. Will definitely be going back.

Apparently, this place used to be a small hall used for private events and cabarets. Now, it's newly renovated and already becoming a Bronx staple. Surprisingly, the service is superb, the bar is fully stocked and it's obvious they have a mixologist behind it with their handcrafted cocktail selection. Henny Mojitos and Margaritas pair well with their empanadas and chicken croquettes. Food presentation screams, "There's a chef in the kitchen!" The lighting installation, wall mural, VIP area as well as DJ booth hint disco nights are coming soon. The $25 (cash only) hookah session is the icing on the cake and you get to choose from an array of assorted flavors. Modestly priced with a daily happy hour menu. They're also offering brunch with bottle service. Great venue for a celebratory moment or even a date. By far a better option than the neighborhood competition on Webster. This establishment definitely has a firm grip on what the Bronx is missing - ambience, intimacy and accessibility. With an all glass storefront and attractive patrons, can't wait to see how much foot traffic they'll receive during the summer months.

I understand establishments are doing the best they can during these times, but, they are passing off bottom shelf liquor as top shelf hoping customers don't notice. In addition the waitress advises us the price for house liquor and top shelf is the same. Thats not even good business. Be honest and tell paying customers what it is, they will be prone to cooperate with you but dont do this.

This spot is cool. Went with my Girls yesterday. The hookah is fresh, outdoor seating and the restroom was clean. The service was good. Only suggestion would be to make the music a little more diverse. The crowd that is spending money has to be able to enjoy the music too. Other than that it's lit and I would go back. The prices are great, the punches are delicious and worth your $. I didn't eat anything but the wings and they were just some regular mild wings. I'll share some pics. You can do bottle service too the prices are nice. We will be back...

This is a place I frequent often. I mainly go for there specials. They have taco Tuesday and they advertise on there Instagram page. The prices they have advertised on there Instagram page is not the prices are in restaurant. I stated how you advertising one price and charging me another. The waiter said the person who made the advertisement do not work for the restaurant no more. What that has to do with anything. When asked if they can honor the Instagram advertise price they said no. I let it be known i was going on Yelp and leaving a honest review. I felt that was unprofessional for the restaurant to not honor something they put on there own IG page.

Three words... "Under The Sea"... Wow, what an amazing Sushi Dish. Crab, Shrimp, Salmon and Maduros Sushi roll. 3 different Sauces, nothing else. Simple, delicious and that's all that Matters. Fried Calamari, to die for. Will come back for more.

The food and drinks are really good !! I got empanadas, Thai chill chicken, caparinha. Would def come here again
