Such a pleasant surprise in Istanbul. A very top notch quality seafood restaurant. We had the caviar as well as the mixed seafood platter in fish broth. The service, the presentation and quality of food was perfect. I would highly recommend it. We even tried the lightedt velvety baklava ever in Aqua.

I recently visited Aqua Restaurant and was surprised to see it almost empty in June — despite the stunning Bosphorus view and elegant setting inside the Four Seasons. The food was very good and definitely worthy of its mention in the Michelin Guide. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and creatively presented. One salad stood out as especially delicious, and the Grilled Baby Squid “Dolma” was exceptional — tender and full of flavor. Service was attentive, though the restaurant was quiet with only a few tables occupied. For about $400, the price felt reasonable given the quality, view, and atmosphere. Overall, I’d confidently rate it 4 stars — maybe even 4.5

Beautiful restaurant, especially in the outdoor area. They had a live piano session which was beautiful. The hotel was beautiful, so it’s nice to eat there but in terms of food, it was pretty standard; the oysters were fresh, the lobster tail was pretty good especially with the nectarine sauce. The gnocchi was disappointing though.

I recommend everyone to visit the restaurants and hotels of Four Seasons. Exquisite cuisine, first-class service, and a cozy atmosphere make every visit special. The staff is incredibly attentive and professional. Four Seasons is all about comfort, style, and true relaxation.

A very interesting and exciting place with beautiful surroundings and intriguing decoration …interesting menu with some dishes being highlights of tasteful dinner, I also loved the espresso, not to forget the red piano!! …and a finish line with according prices …

To review this restaurant is kind of complicated. The ambiance and the location is superior. Located at the Four Season Hotel says it all. If that is what you are looking for then this is the place to go and impress your date. The meal is ultra sophisticated and while delicious the quantity is not there. The 2 strip of salmon times too and the salad , one glass of wine $350 dollars is a bit much. Again if you go there with the purpose of see and be seen then it's worth it. Food one star Ambiance and location 5 stars

Service is slow. Service is slow. Service is slow. We ordered turkish breakfast that consists of cut up cheese and tomatoes/cucumbers plus eggs. It took forever. We never had both hot drink and hot food. It was either had a hot drink and by the time the food came, drink was cold. All the egg orders were cold. You pay for the view.

Very pretty location, food was rather average for being a Four Seasons. We are regular Four Seasons fans but we felt the same way about this hotel as we did about the other ones near the Bosphorus - too hot, too many people, a feeling of being "trapped" between the sea and the street. The terrace is beautiful though, and the hotel is worth visiting - at night, when it's a bit cooler.

We went on a special event night so the menu was limited. In spite of that, the food was really good and service excellent. Why three stars? The non smokers get rewarded with sitting in the restaurant (no view) while the smokers enjoy an evening on the terrace with fab views. This is the norm in Istanbul and very frustrating.

My mum, fiancè and I went here for lunch. We got one of the fancy glass booths on the water. There was bluetooth so we could play our own music. The service was impeccable. The food was great. The place is stunning. We had such a lovely experience here. What a treat!

Meh. Great location for sure. But for these prices the food and the service should be better. Skip it and go somewhere else (to eat, the rest of the hotel is fabulous)

I was extremely impressed with the quality of food and service at the in-house restaurant Aqua at the Four Seasons on the Bosphorus. We ate there last night as a special last meal during our week long trip to istanbul and though we knew the location wash stupendous,the food is what truly won me over. I got a carpaccio fish starter with a wonderful herb glaze that really hit the spot without being at all heavy, while my boyfriend opted for the risotto with rosemary and a balsamic reduction (which besides presentation - tasted amazing and we live In italy) I got a salad with dried figs that was beautifully dressed. Our wine was a Turkish Merlot and was absolutely perfect for our meal. Medium bodied and not too fruity or dry, great recommendation by our waiter. Our main courses were a beef filet and tartare, always a very special meal for us and both were cooked to perfection. My filet was cooked medium served with two different kind of sauces, red wine reduction and your classic French béarnaise. We finished with dessert, a chocolate tart garnished with gold leaf served with praline ice cream and a simple plate of fruit. Definitely one of the best meals in the city and the service was very attentive. I am going to dream about this for years to come...
