Aquarium Restaurant

We had a great experience at the Aquarium Restaurant. We ordered the fish tacos, which were absolutely delicious, and also tried the sampler, which was really tasty and well-prepared. The flavors were fresh, and the portions were generous. The service was outstanding — Markus, our server, was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. He made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. The only minor issue was at the front desk, where we waited a little longer than expected to be seated. But once we were at our table, everything went perfectly and was absolutely worth the wait. Highly recommend this spot for both the food and the unique atmosphere.

Our son saw this restaurant on the train ride and we had to stop by. The atmosphere is great, exactly what you would expect from a restaurant with an aquarium built in. There were a few small tanks and one large one with many different types of sea creatures. The food was delicious. I had the "taste of new Orleans" including shrimp, sausage, cat fish, and fried gator. My friend ordered Parmesan chicken and shrimp and my wife had Louisiana Cajun pasta. The experience was really enjoyable and our server had a great sense of humor on a slower day. Definitely recommend stopping here.

The experience is great! There are specialty drinks for parents and fish for the kids, but the food is very bland… Everything tastes fresh and was cooked well. It just didn’t have any flavor. The staff and atmosphere are the only things I can compliment.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We drove nearly 2 hours to experience Kemah Boardwalk for the first time and chose to celebrate our son’s 18th birthday at the Aquarium restaurant. The place was beautifully themed with a calming underwater vibe—perfect for a special occasion. The family tables were full, so my husband, son, and I decided to sit at the bar. It was actually my son’s and my first time ever sitting at a bar, and we were a little nervous—but that changed the moment Angelica greeted us. She was beyond amazing! Friendly, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful, she instantly made us feel welcome and at ease. She handled everything with such grace and care that we truly felt like valued guests. Jeanette also came by to check on us, and her warm, genuine presence made the experience even better. Both of these ladies went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful—but it was Angelica and Jeanette who truly made this visit unforgettable. For making a milestone birthday feel so special and for turning our nerves into smiles, they deserve all the stars and more. Hands down, best service we’ve had in a long time! 💙

Great restaurant, dining next to the big aquarium is a very special experience, the restaurant also provides free photography and photos, but if you want to add a photo frame, you need to pay extra. Valerie who served us was very friendly and welcoming.

Aquarium is one of our favorite restaurants. We had a late, possibly the last available, reservation due to everyone's work schedule. Today was a different experience. My perception as a customer, was not feeling welcomed but feeling like I was a burden with the staffs focus more on trying to get out. I shared my experience privately with manager and he apologized. I did not want to say anything but we were celebrating my son's birthday. The manager is why my rating is higher than what I feel for this experience. The food, as always was great. Restrooms were cute.

I had an excellent time celebrating a birthday here. The food was great, and the service was decent. However, my only feedback is that, despite the restaurant not being very busy, no manager stopped by to check on our table.

Food was delicious of course. We went in on a Monday which was perfect for us. No crowds i mean. Would definitely recommend this place.
