This is my go to restaurant when I pass by Tavira. The host is super friendly and nice, and the food is very interesting and tasty. It is situated in a narrow pedestrian street among other restaurants, and be warned, reservation in advance is required as it is almost always fully booked one week in advance. My favourite dishes are the cheese salad and starter and then the roasted duck for main dish.

The food was mixed. The salmon cake starter was very tasty and the dorade was good, although quite oily. Unfortunately, the “Noodles and Prawns” were a real disappointment: overall the dish tasted more like an instant noodle meal, slightly upgraded with prawns and edamame. The prawns themselves had little flavor, and this is not what we expected from a Portuguese restaurant. The menu should have made it clear that Asian instant noodles were used, and charging €18 for that felt excessive. On the positive side, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy.

Even though it was very busy when we arrived, the staff were very helpful in finding us a table. The service was friendly and attentive, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. Everything tasted great, and the prices were very reasonable. A lovely experience – definitely worth coming back!.

Tonight was our second visit in a week. Lovely spot, in a quiet pedestrian only street below a beautiful bougainvillea. The food is excellent. The vegetarian salad is truly amazing as was the slow cooked pork cheeks. All dishes were wonderful. The waiting staff are attentive and helpful. A real credit to the restaurant. Always busy and people often turned away, so recommend booking.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a restaurant where the food provided a pleasant but not memorable experience. The food was definitely good, but it lacked that extra touch that truly wows you. The atmosphere was outstanding, and a talented singer in the background contributed to a cozy ambiance that elevated the entire experience. The service was a bit mixed. The staff had their hands full, resulting in a short wait to receive the food. Despite this, they were incredibly friendly and managed to secure a table for the two of us even though we hadn't made a reservation in advance. In summary, the restaurant offers an okay dining experience with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a relaxing evening with good food, this could be a solid choice.

Visited twice again in 2025 and as good as ever. Been 3 times during our 9 nights holiday. Superb food, drink, service and atmosphere. In our top 3 restaurants in Tavira. Best to book as most turned away on the night or a long wait. Facebook Messenger good for this. 10/10

Excellent meal, despite being fully booked they managed to squeeze us in and the staff were just as attentive and friendly. The food was fantastic quality and the atmosphere was incredible! Highly recommend.

We had a really good time - the service was very friendly. We had the goat cheese and the mozzarella pizza as a starter, both was really tasty. For the main we had the Lasagne and the pork - it was also really good. We are looking forward to coming to this place again.
