Overall, the stay was okay, and the general vibe was positive, but it did not fully justify the high price. The biggest downside was the extreme overcrowding at the water park. Even for a holiday period, there were simply too many people, which reduced comfort and hygiene. The hotel looks nice, but for this standard, some basic amenities were missing in the room (e.g. no kettle), which was inconvenient when traveling with three small children. The furniture and sun loungers are worn and partly damaged. The main restaurant was very crowded, but we only discovered on the last day that there is another, much calmer restaurant upstairs, which we recommend. For children, there is limited content for younger ages. Our 126 cm tall confident swimmer and our one-year-old daughter could not do much, as many attractions are designed for 140 cm+. However, our older son had a great time, as he was tall enough for most attractions. The wristband system indicating children’s height limits is very practical and well organized. The animation team works very hard, there is always something going on, and it never feels boring. Staff were friendly, and we really appreciated that the lifeguards were attentive and actively monitoring the pools, not using their phones. In summary, a pleasant atmosphere, but overcrowding and pricing significantly affect the overall experience.

We stayed at Aquaworld Resort Budapest during the new year holidays for 2 nights. I can't say anything bad, I think we will come back because the kids were crying that they didn't want to go. As for the hotel and the water park, all the prices and offers are great for us! Yes, the rooms are not new, but they are clean, dinner and breakfast are excellent for the price, yes, there are no drinks in the evening (but this is indicated when booking), however, in the morning there is a selection of delicious juices, coffee and even prosecco. As for the service, it's great online. After registration, you have an online manager who will kindly answer your questions. On-site managers are not so friendly, but despite everything, they checked us in faster and found us a room for an extra night when the hotel was fully booked, for which we thank you. As for the water park, it was really crowded, but we were able to ride all the slides, visit all the saunas, our children were very happy and so were we. As for the temperature inside, it was very warm for us, we didn't even wear bathrobes, but everyone probably perceives it individually. Overall, thank you for the warm memories, we had a wonderful time, the kids say we will definitely come back! The Turchyn family from Ukraine

We stayed there from January 5 to January 9, 2026. The room was large and clean — unfortunately, this was the only positive aspect. The food was absolutely awful. Exactly the same dishes were served every morning and every evening, with no variation whatsoever. The mandarins were of such poor quality that they seemed rejected by stores and barely suitable even for animal feed. The desserts were identical every single day — completely tasteless, without flavor or aroma. The hygiene and attitude of the staff were also disappointing. The women serving the food had very long, unkempt nails, which was unpleasant and unprofessional. The bar staff appeared bored and served guests as if it was a burden, behaving as though they were paying out of their own pockets. There was no effort at all to improve the food or the service. A real disappointment. We will definitely not return.

We stayed at the hotel and waterpark for 2 nights with children and had a great time. The rooms: Rooms are of good size and comfort. I think it would be better to add at least a kettle for tea as currently there is no tea/coffee making equipment. Also, the bathroom door doesn’t lock, and in our room it couldn’t even be closed although I think it was a malfunction and not the general case. Other than that the room was spacious and comfortable, with very close access to the waterpark. The food: Breakfast is good, there was a selection of cheese and meat (though no fish for some reason) as well as pancakes for the children and a choice of juices from a machine. Dinner could be improved, as most meat dishes were mediocre in taste and quality. Also there are no drinks included in the meal. Food by the pool: very basic, the soups were nice. The waterpark: The best thing was the warm water in the cold winter season, we enjoyed it a lot. There are multiple slides for smaller and older kids, and you can easily spend a whole day there. The spa area is not huge compared to other places in Europe, but all the necessities are there. Note there is no jacuzzi in the spa area, only in the water park, so no jacuzzi for adults only without children. Overall it was a nice ending to our winter trip to Budapest.

Writing this a bit late, but I had to give a shout-out to the team after reading some of the comments here. We stayed for 3 nights in July as a family of four and honestly, we had a blast. The staff are the real stars here. We were messaging them on WhatsApp and email with a ton of questions before we arrived (traveling with a 4 months baby lol), and they were super patient with us. Once we got there, we were amazed by the entertainment crew who were great. my kid still remembers the fanta-pepsi-spite game at the wave pool, saying hi to bongo and the dances in the evening. We never saw him so happy. Special thanks to the entertainment staff lady with the blond hair, unfortunately I don't know her name but I think she's the manager there. Even when the pools got busy which is totally expected for the summer months, the kid had plenty of space to go wild on the kids slides, which if I remember correctly were around 4 inside and 1 outside. The food: Usually, hotel buffets are just "okay," but the food here was actually exceptional, specially in the evening. Even though drinks aren't included at dinner, we still got free water which was nice. The Playhouse: This was a total lifesaver for us. Great setup and playful staff as well. Small tip: If you have a "runner" like my 3-year-old, just a heads up that there isn’t a high-up safety lock on the room doors. We just blocked it with a suitcase so he doesn't go out to the corridor... I couldn't stop recommending to all our friends they need to check this place, on e of the nest hotels I've visited. We enjoyed it so much that I’m looking forward coming back, and actually.... we are coming back to Budapest next week just to stay with you guys again. This time it’s just me and my son for our first-ever "Father-Son" vacation.

We stayed at the hotel fr 3 nighta during the Hungarian GP weekend.||Location: Perfect for Hungaroring (about 15-20 mins away even with the heavy traffic, less than 15mins in the morning), although a bit far from the center if you are planning to venture out to the city. Big parking lot, with underground covered parking (extra charge).||Hotel and Aqua park: Aqua park allows non-hotel guest, do it can get reasonably crowded during the day. There is a separate area and a spa for hotel guests, but the slides were too tempting and lured us to the main area. Lots of lounges both inside and outside, also a separate "quiet" area and space for little children.||Hotel has 2 buildings, maller one with family apartments and games room which we used on 2 evenings.||Main building lobby is a bit small, with bar not having enough space to accommodate the guests.||Rooms: Fairly modern and spacious, good shower and outside balcony. We were on a higher floor facing the bridge in the distance and the views beautiful in the evening. Rooms were serviced daily and generally very clean.||Restaurants and food: We stayed on HB basis which was very convenient for GP weekend. ||Breakfast selection was very reasonable and comparable to other good 4* hotels. Fresh brewed coffee would be great though and juice could be better quality.||Dinner buffet was ok, nothing special. Although the choice was limited compared to many other similar level hotels we've been to one could always find few options and choice of children dishes meant we were quite happy after the long day at the races. Drinks are extra, but both beer and wine is reasonably priced (particularly if you choose a bottle of Hungarian wine).||There are also few places to eat at the aqua park, with main restaurant serving usual fare plus some goulash, pancakes, etc. Very convenient and not too crowded (although serving line can be long during the lunch time).||Service was very friendly and helpful. We communicated several times via email and online, as well as received useful assistance from the reception desk.||We booked well in advance and the price was very good. However , close to the date it was nearly twice as expensive (guess reflecting demand)||Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and will be coming back next year again, this time with a larger family group:) Looking forward to it!

Amazing water park, perfect for both kids and adults! There are so many different types of pools and entertainment areas for children, as well as a great variety of sauna rooms for adults. I especially loved the outdoor pool that connects directly to the indoor one — you can even swim out! We didn’t get a chance to stay in the hotel. But highly recommended for a fun and relaxing day in Budapest! (No phone allowed inside so no pic to show the amazing time we spent there unfortunately..)

Great location, close to the airport Rooms where a bit dated, not much but just needs a slight facelift i.e. the apartment rooms contains an old school microwave, decor needs a uplift but otherwise very satisfied. Rooms are very spacious and temp controlled. Service was great too. Staff were very helpful
