The staff on arrival and throughout were very welcoming and warm. |The breakfasts were wonderful and the pianist in the evening made our cocktails and light dinners very special.|SHANNON in particular at breakfast was remarkable. |The a la carte breakfasts were superb .|The hot baths were a treat. Could be slightly warmer … but still served it’s purpose! So relaxing! |Downside: dinner in the dining room disappoints. Very oily, greasy and sauce covered ! Salad alone was excellent |Altogether an excellent visit !|Only downside was the dinner. Too much sauce and grease added. |Highly recommended otherwise!

I had an incredible stay at the Arabella Hotel, Golf & Spa in Hermanus for a recent conference, and I can’t say enough about the amazing staff! Meki at the bar was an absolute delight, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere with every drink served. Sino, the concierge, went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was seamless, offering thoughtful recommendations with a genuine smile. Fiona at reception was a star, handling everything with such professionalism and warmth that it set the perfect tone for our visit. Other staff members, whose names I unfortunately didn’t catch, were equally fantastic, always ready to help with a friendly attitude. The entire team’s dedication made our conference experience stress-free and enjoyable, and their hospitality truly sets this hotel apart. The Arabella is a stunning property, and the staff’s passion for exceptional service makes it a must-visit. I can’t wait to return!

Gorgeous place. Stayed at the hotel. The view is incredible, the food options are slightly limited but delicious, the amenities are great and the pool is stunning. The service at the entrance cafe/lunch area was remarkably slow. The dessert options are great.

One of the most spectacular golf courses I have ever played. Unfortunately due to the heavy rains, no buggies were available and it was fairly wet under foot but the course remained very playable. ||You can see that there is ongoing investment in the course and to conduction of the fairway and greens was remarkable considering the weather over the previous weeks. Good pro shop, nice locker room and great bar area. ||The staff were all very accommodating and the service was impeccable. This course stands up to any of the many top class courses I have played. ||The cherry on the top must be the course layout and the views are to die for!!

Spa is good with great service. Pity that only the small hydro pool is heated whereas the 3 outdoor pools are all no longer heated. Rooms are large and well appointed. Service was 3.5 to 4 star at best - from the check in to the turn down service, it was 4 star at best. Main dining restaurant was ok for dinner (definitely not 5 star).

My mom and I spent the day at Arabella Spa. She was gifted a package that included a full body treatment and a facial, and kindly booked me in for a 75-minute deluxe pedicure so we could enjoy the day together. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. It was supposed to be 75 minutes, but I was finished in just 40 minutes. We raised our concern at the desk, but the staff member gave no response at all. For a 5-star spa, this level of service was very disappointing. My mom is a pensioner, and spending R800 on a pedicure is a big expense. For that price, I expected a proper treatment and much better attention to detail. While waiting for my mom, I also noticed that the spa’s offering is very limited. Only rooibos tea was available, with nothing extra to make the experience feel special. At other spas I’ve visited, there’s usually water infused with cucumber or lemon, and often small treats like biscuits to enjoy with tea or coffee. Unfortunately I had to give a star to write a review they don’t even deserve the one star

Checked in for an overnight stay. Service was FANTASTIC. Limpho did a complimentary upgrade of our room and Fiona was a star assisting her. Ordered room service and they even called later to enquire if everything was fine. Shannon at Jamani restaurant was EXCELLANT with her bubbly smile and exceptional service. Played 9 holes of golf on their well maintained course.
